This boxset includes: 1. VIKING THUNDER When the Northman came, almost everyone was sleeping. There was no one to protect them. They pulled the great chieftain out from under the bed where he was trying to hide. In his wailing for his life, he offered them Elswyth stating she was young and strong. They could have anything they wanted. He was not spared. This is the prequel to the "Viking Warriors" series. Emmanuelle de Maupassant has given a brief description and explanation of the Gods these Northman believed in and what it was like when a village was invaded. The characters are multi-dimensional, the description in the storyline is so visual you can picture it. There are many side stories going in this prequel to keep you interested in the story and want to know more. A great read for sure.
2. VIKING WOLF This book picks up exactly where "Viking Thunder" left off. The battle over, many on both sides have died. Sails are repaired and wounds tended. Only those leaving Northumbria did so voluntarily, no one made a slave. Since Elswyth was the product of a previous invasion from the Norseman and the cruel chieftain she was married to killed, had much to decide. Her decision had been selfish, borne from her want of adventure and to start something new, her knowledge of kinship with these warriors, and her desire for Eirik, brother of the Svolvaen chief. Faline, the Northumbria chief's daughter and Elswithy's step daughter, had also shared Eirik's bed and so, she too, had left with these warriors. Although Eirik had possession of both women, Faline appeared to have a deep jealousy and resentment towards Elswyth. As life dictated a harsh and brutal life in reality for Vikings, so does Emmanuelle de Maupassant give us a tale of this life tinged with a love so true it can grow and prosper within this story. There's a beautiful savagery to this story that will give you an emotional response to the characters and a HEA at the end to fill your heart. Absolutely a wonderful story with promises from the author for more to come.
3. VIKING BEAST Have you been following "The Viking Series"? If not, you need to jump on it as quickly as possible. You don't want to miss one of the greatest experiences a book can give you, and this one will take you on that journey. Emmanuelle de Maupassant gives us the third part with this book and OMG!! The world-building is so realistic, with everything we've been taught and learned about Vikings. Her characters, both main and side, are so filled with personality they are relatable, even in their tempers. As I read I felt like I was there participating on the inside of the story rather than just reading on the outside. Elwyth is our heroine and what a heroine she is! She's determined, strong, loving, forgiving, and a role model both inside the story and out.
I REALLY want to share this with you but I don't want to give anything away. You're going to want to read every delicious word for yourself. Congratulations Emmanuelle on another five-star review although in my opinion, you deserve so much more.
Este libro fue mi introducción a las novelas de romance vikingo y debo decir que me quedé con ansias de seguir leyendo. Es un libro increíble, lleno de acción, aventura y pasión.
Viking Thunder Life is peaceful in the Northumbria village until the night the Vikings came. A damaged longboat seeks shelter whilst repairs are made. At the mercy of a savage band of Vikings, led by a formidable warrior Eirik. For the first time, a man's strength of will matches Elswyth's own. This is the prologue to the series & beautifully sets the scene for the following books. Elswyth is a strong woman who is drawn to Eirik but should she stay with her ailing grandmother or leave to go into the unknown?
Viking Wolf Arriving in Svolvaen Elswyth soon settles into a new way of life & is happy with Eirik but jealousies abound & Elswyth finds herself caught in the middle. I read this immediately after the prologue ‘Viking Thunder’ & I read it in a sitting. I don’t usually love books written in the first person but this worked extremely well. I really liked Elswyth who whilst a strong woman knew when to submit. I liked Eirik & enjoyed their love story but then circumstances intervened. I also loved the mystery & intrigue which made this a page turner
Viking Beast I couldn’t put it down & read it on a rainy afternoon. Elswyth has certainly suffered in her life & truly deserved her HEA The pace doesn't let up & I was drawn in from the start. It made me gasp at times & I despaired for Elswyth but she was one tough cookie who never gave up. Another steamy page turning read with, betrayal, revenge, murder all woven into romance. I loved it, I truly hope a certain Jarl has his story as he deserves his HEA. 3 page turning engrossing reads
Great collection of three stories from the Viking era. The author brings strong characters with hot and steamy chemistries and takes them on adventurous journeys. She paints her scene in vivid detail taking you back to the day in realistic fashion and does a fabulous job showing the violent culture of the times. Adding in twists and surprises she delivers a fantastic read. Loved and highly recommend.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
I love Eirik and Elswyth story! This book is all three in an amazing book. Their story is a testimony of their love. Many trials and tribulations, especially for Elswyth. Eirik is the brother of the Jarl and was given Elswyth after a raid in her town. I forgot to mention if you love Viking books then you will love this book. There is a lot of action and low points for Elswyth since she is an outsider. This is a great read and I enjoyed reading it one book!
"Viking Thunder"🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 They🐺🔪 Came, They Saw, They Took What They Wanted!
Elswyth💃 is the product of a years earlier Norse invasion and pillage. Her mother was raped by the cruel Viking invaders from the north, and fairhaired, blue eyed Elswyth💃💋 was born. She played with the boys in the woods, but at the same time she learned sewing, weaving, and forest plants. With her beautiful hair, looks, and figure, she was eventually married to the widowed village chieftain, a man old enough to be her father. Elswyth💃💋 has never known the love💘 of a man, or the love of a man with the knowledge of how to please a woman. She has never loved💘 a man, only served him.
When a Viking🐺🔪 raiding party comes ashore during a storm, her Husband offers her up to the Vikings🐺🔪 without a qualm, thinking it will save his life. Not a chance......
I really got into this novella, and I hated that it ended so quickly! Luckily, there are more Vikings🐺 waiting just offshore in an excerpt from the sequel Viking Wolf!🐺
This is a new author to me, but her writing skills are very polished and considerable and I can't wait to read the rest of her published works. ****************** "Viking Wolf" 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Viking🐺🔪 Love💘, Deception, and Betrayal💔
Ancient Norway, The Time of Viking🐺 Raids on the shores of the British Isles.
This is the continuing story of Elswyth💃💋, the young half Viking widow woman stolen from NorthUmbria, Scotland, by The Viking warrior, Eirik🐺🍆🌋🔪, to be his woman. Her elderly husband, the village chieftain, is killed by Eirik🐺🍆🌋🔪, and his grown daughter, Faline, is also brought along to Norway as a free woman.
Back in Norway, Eirik🐺🍆🌋🔪 and his older brother, Gunnolf👹🍆🌋🔪, the Jarl, live in opposite ends of their great house. That's pretty much the way their lives are, too.
Gunnolf👹🍆🌋🔪 is the Viking Wolf, a huge, dark, hairy, beast of a man. He is a brooder, he's unforgiving and quick to anger. He's an Alpha male🐺 and he cheats on his wife. He's a choker👐, a binder, he's a spanker👋 and he uses a belt, too. He is a man driven by power and dark thoughts.
Gunnolf👹🍆🌋🔪 thinks Eirik wants to be Jarl, and that his own karls, are also against him. The people say behind his back that Eirik🐺🍆🌋🔪 would be a better Jarl.
The book deals with Viking superstition about sickness and death, as well as True 💘love, Deception, Betrayal, and Jealousy. Faline turns out to be a continuous source of much of the trouble, and she is sneaky and vindictive.
ARC Received via Booksprout. I also got The book📑 with KU.
Great book! This is a XXX Alpha Male🐺🍆🌋👋🔪 Romance and there is Cheating! Do not read if cheating situations bother you! This was ancient Norway, and the people were not Christians, and Christian values do not apply. There is a happy ending! ******************* "Viking Beast" 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Forged🔪 By 🔥Fire
Jarl Eldberg🐺🍆⛲🔪 loses his wife Bretta and unborn child in an intentionally set fire of his longhouse one night in 960 AD. He tried to save her but was knocked out by falling timbers and burned badly himself He survives, promising to get revenge.
Elswyth💃💋, new bride👰 of Jarl Eirik, is stolen when Eldberg🐺🍆⛲🔪 and his men set their village on 🔥fire in retaliation. Eldberg🐺🍆⛲🔪 gets his revenge by killing Eirik.
Eldberg🐺🍆⛲🔪 is a really baaaad naaaasty guy, driven by his need for revenge and his lust for Elswyth💃💋. Elswyth💃💋💔 just wants to run away from the spankings, bindings, and other ADULT humiliations that Eldberg🐺🍆⛲🔪 heaps upon her.
ARC Received from Booksprout🌱 I also got this ebook with KU.
There are numerous explicit sexual scenes in this book, as well as several attempted rapes, which could be a trigger for some readers. Life was extremely harsh then, and most women were basically a commodity, to be used, bought, and sold. I loved the author's thoroughly researched 🌎world building of ancient Norway and the Viking🐺🔪 lifestyle! Can't wait until the next book! ****** This three volume set was provided by Booksprout🌱 The volume was $7.99 on Amazon at the time of this review. Opinions Expressed here are entirely my own!
Viking Warriors is from three separate books and follows the life of Elswyth, an English woman captured by a Viking.
I thought the overall audio series was thoroughly absorbing. I was most definitely transported to the Viking world de Maupassant has created.
*Viking Thunder*
This was a really good historical / viking story. The book is set in England, and is the thoughts, feelings and reactions of Elswyth, the wife of the village chief, to the sacking and pillaging of her village. As a viking story, this book does contain scenes that some readers may find upsetting.
This is definitely not a romantic tale, but there are the beginnings of a love story within it.
*Viking Wolf*
I felt that the author drew a vivid picture of how life was in viking times, and evoked the feelings and atmosphere I would imagine of how people in that society would live, and love and function. The story itself is more than a love story, it really is a story of a young woman and her struggles within a male dominated village. I haven't really read or listened to many other stories about the vikings, but I definitely enjoyed this book.
*Viking Beast*
This is the third installment in the story of Elswyth and her life with the Vikings.
To say that Elswyth has been on a journey thus far (from the previous two books) would be an understatement, and in this story so much more happens to her.
De Maupassant really knows how to use language and craft a really engaging and intelligent story. Her book's build up the tension and give us unexpected endings. Nothing seems to be a given in her world. It is brutal, it is not for the faint-hearted, and it is a story of a strong female and her survival in a tough world. This is a really remarkable series. A definite recommend from me for Viking story enthusiasts.
VIKINGS, with all of the lusty grit of Alpha Males and submissive women, A MUST-READ! VIKING WARRIORS, the latest Viking tale from author Emmanuelle de Maupassant, is one of those stories that elicits emotions from a reader without the reader even recognizing their extent prior to the crescendo that brings those emotions to the fore. Additionally, even though VIKING WARRIORS was full of twists that I did not expect, so engrossed was I in its page-turning action, I now find that I must limit my praise for this EPIC Viking tomb lest my praise spoil any revelations that are hidden in its pages. All of the characters, both the main and secondary are well-developed, multifaceted, and realistic as worthy of a tome twice its length. Yet the tale of these folk will take readers from the joy of close-knit family to the despair of damage and death. In understanding and well-deserved compassion, readers feel compelled by both the laughter and the loss to follow the path of Elswyth where it may lead. I absolutely love VIKING WARRIORS and the way in which it handles some very difficult situations and the characterization of Elswyth who faces those situations. Her ability to care, love, forgive, and survive within heinous situations is so admirable, she reminds me of the Biblical Esther. VIKING WARRIORS most definitely moved me and is arguably one of the BEST series I’ve read this year. My VOLUNTARY, 5+STAR (only because five is the highest number of stars a reviewer is allowed to award, despite my wanting to award it more STARS!) recommendation of VIKING WARRIORS is one I gladly give with the caution that this title is for those 18 years-of-age and older only. I STRONGLY suggest that you purchase your copy of VIKING WARRIORS today! Happy pages! 😉
I received a copy from Booksprout; this is my honest review. -I don't read dark romance but I had read the blurb of the first book, then bought it. It captured my attention so when it came along having the trilogy together, I grabbed it. -My total stars is really 4 but dropped to 3 because 1. The ending brought you to think something would happen, then everything turned around and didn't, then 2. The serials is not finished! And the next book is only in 2022! So it finishes with a somewhat HFN for some people (not all the ones who want either) but a lot is going on and nothing is settled. -This is not for everyone. It's dark and gory, people get massacred, women are you-know-what, children view all these happenings and all the details are written right there. It is realistic with the times and Vikings, though. -It will keep you on your toes, some parts are predictable, in some others you just ask yourself "why would they do this?", like running away in the snowstorm while 7-month pregnant. -I liked how the characters developed, how they changed with time, accepting but always hoping for better. I really liked Eirik and Eldberg. -Many times I thought Elswyth had a huge lack of faith in people and of course Gunnolf and Faline took advantage of her state of mind. -So to relieve the tension I had while reading, every time I read the name "Sweyn" I read it as swine because he was such a pig of a man. Sorry for all those men name as such. -Such a lovely picture of pregnancy: "to bind bones and flesh within one's own body, to feel the heartbeat of another ...".
Style: Viking Historical Romance Story: 3/5 Enjoyment: 2/5 Dark Level: 2/5 Sexual Level: GOOD Triggers: Yes Violence: Yes Male: Hulking & Sexy Series: Book 1 (Cliffhanger) Pages: 292 Audio: FAIR (f) Kindle Unlimited: No
STORY: This is a Viking romance, and I am a sucker for Viking romances. I wouldn’t say the story is bad, I just could not connect as the story progresses. I got to the mid way point and didn’t want to read more. Now I hope I don’t sound contracting to say the story isn’t bad but couldn’t finish it, but I felt it was more the character that I was not connecting with. I also am not sure if the audio version had anything to do with this because I really didn’t fancy the female in the audio, so that could have hindered me as well.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY: What I read about the sex scenes were good, I really didn’t have any issues.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS:
OVERALL: I really wanted to love this, but something was hindering my enjoyment. I love reading about Vikings and enjoyed them growing up by some of my favorite romance authors.
TRIGGERS:
****I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read. I based my book reviews on my preferences and what I like, and while these preferences may not be the same for others, I hope this review was still helpful.
Amazing book. Well researched, authentic details and a real love story. The author doesn't sugar coat Viking life as you can tell by the title. But I was glued to the trilogy, had to read them straight though over the course of three days. I was riveted and that doesn't happen very often. The writing was excellent. The dialogue, authentic and compelling. The story line is engaging, the plot has the right amount of tension and sub-story. The author is so detailed about VIking food, ritual, mythology, symbolism and custom. The characters have great depth. I cried at the end of it.
It's also pretty steamy in some scenes. Who knew Vikings had sex toys? I liked the scenes - they were passionate and exciting. Not for everyone thought. As you can imagine, men in 960 AD or whenever its set were not feminists. They like things rough. Just saying.
In a nutshell: A woman, Elswyth, living in dark ages Britain lives in a village conquered by Vikings who ransack and kill her husband. One of the Vikings, Eirik, decides to take her back to Norway with him. She and Eirick live together in his village but tension rises when his brother, the Jarl, decides he wants Elswyth too. That's the main conflict in book two. Book three, Elswyth gets taken hostage by another Viking tribe and their Jarl makes her his thrall.
Amazing! This volume consists of 3 Viking Warriors' stories (Viking Thunder, Viking Wolf and Viking Beast) and the common theme or character is Elswyth. She must be the one of bravest of characters I have yet read about, enduring her fate yet never giving up hope nor the will to survive. She is forced to live with and service these three warriors having been captured by each of them at different times and she comes to love each one and they her in return. This is a violent, passionate and forgiving story, full of revenge, betrayals and secrets with a most satisfying final Epilogue in the third book which makes it all worthwhile. There were times when I was absolutely emotional, others when I was sitting in awe or in suspense or totally happy with what was happening in these stories but I was glued - I couldn't put this down for any great length of time ... I was totally captivated. Amazing! Emma Parry, the narrator did a good job and has some interesting 'voices' and which she uses for the listener's benefit and entertainment. I listened to the audiobook version and my unbiased review is given voluntarily.
This is the story of Elswyth. Told mostly from her POV, we see when her village under attack. How her older husband, the chieftain, hide under their bed, offer her to be taken only to have him killed in return. We see the viking as the raider. Sailor who rape, killed and take what ever they want. And we see them as the farmer in their homeland. As clansmen who would fight for the village too. Who are not heroes since they still take what they want even with the women in their village. This author doesn't do romantizing the viking or the dark age of that time. She doesn't sugar coat how women were place in that time. İf you aren't nobel with lots of dowry, then you are free far all. Travel to search where she belongs, Elswyth bound to a man who took her as his only to leave her in uncertainty, seduce by a man who's on the verge loosing his mind then abducted again to become a thrall/slave. No hero here to be your book husband. No damsel in distress who can stand for her self. She merely a survivor, a realistic role in that time of age. İnteresting read for my first read from the author
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this entertaining dark Viking trilogy which is set in the brutal Viking era. The plots of all three books are well-paced & are full of unexpected incidents/situations that certainly kept my attention. The scenes are well-described and the world building is excellent & covers the cultures & traditions of that time period. The characters are well-developed & some of them are realistically flawed to a certain extent while some of the other characters are just trying to survive to the best of their abilities. In particular, I was impressed by the redeeming qualities shown by the “villain” in each of the stories. There is: hot Viking warriors/raiders, defenseless women, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, adventure, action, threats, danger, enemies, violence, brutality, deceit, betrayal, vengeful feelings, manipulations, resentment, defiance, domination/submission, reluctance, escape attempts, choices, decisions, compromises, steamy scenes, contentment & well-deserved, satisfying conclusions. I look forward to future books from this talented author & would recommend this Viking Warrior Dark Romance Trilogy to people who enjoy reading this genre.
Wow! I’m glad this trilogy is all together in one book, as I can’t imagine reading this story as anything other than one continuous saga. This is a story full of action, sex and power. There is danger, deceit and death. The Vikings live by the sword and die by the sword….and many times it is a near thing for our hero and heroine. Elswyth was ‘captured’ first by Eirik and then later by Sweyn and Eldberg. She did what she needed to do to survive, and in the process brought healing to many. I cannot even begin to address all that happened to her, but will tell you that this author had the ability to pull the rug out from under the reader quickly and often. Your heart will be racing much of the time you are reading. If things of a sexual nature bother you, this is not for you. However, it is pretty clear that the Vikings used sex for punishment and control as much as for release, and to them their actions were justified. This is a wild ride and not a lovey-dovey romance, but it is well told and exciting.

This is a Trilogy of a Viking adventure that links the three stories together. You must read these in order to enjoy , because the story progresses with each one. It builds to a tale of strength, courage, fortitude, survival, and love.
Viking Thunder It begins when the Northman invade take over and capture Elswith the wife of the Clan leader and his daughter. Eirik and Helka his sister take them on the voyage to there home.
Viking Wolf Begins when they arrive back in there Svolvaen home. Eirik and Elswith begin a life. Plenty of changes new ways to adapt to, she is a healer and worries about be accepted. She wants to be his wife and not just be there at his slave. So much happening, passion, torment, lust, betrayal, abandonment, plenty to keep you on edge.
Viking Beast The final chapter of this tale. What will happen to Eirik and Elswith ? So much goes on still with plenty to tell in this epic tale.
You will not be disappointed .

I read these books long ago, but the author has now written a prequel that really brings to light how it all began. It was refreshing to reread these stories. Well written, these stories show how lies and deceit can bring down those who believe themselves untouchable. This story is about true love that begins with death and destruction, and a strong woman’s will to survive the fates that the gods have thrown her way.
Each main character in this collection has their own backstory; stories of heartbreak and fear, of love and devotion, of strong men and even stronger women, of the will to survive in a very cruel world led by warrior men whose very existence can bring about life or death in a heartbeat. It is a story in which one particular woman has to choose between love and survival, and how she must show obedience when her heart and mind rebels against tragic circumstances.

Viking Thunder: Short intro to Eirik and Elswyth. She is widowed and ends up doing thing she never expected after the village is invaded. I love how he words his request to her.
Viking Wolf: This story took a big turn that I didn’t really expect, but I liked the resolution. Eirik’s duty and brother interfere with his relationship with Elswyth and her insecurities lead her to a bad place. She betrays a friendship and doesn’t place enough consideration where she should and that ends badly for many. Add in plague and it is a rough time.
Viking Beast: Elswyth has more trials to overcome after being kidnapped, including caring for her captor after watching Eirik fall. There is a great betrayer among her captors, but she also makes some friends along the way. I would really like to get the story promised at the end!
This was a great series! It pulled me in from beginning to end and the characters were fantastic! We follow Elswyth throughout all of the books as she finds her way in life. She does not have it easy and has to fight, in multiple ways, for a life that she wants. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and was impressed with the way it was written. Everything felt authentic and the narrator really brought it to life as well. The accent was fantastic and felt authentic to what it would/could have been. The pronunciation of words felt spot on as well. It truly brought the story and characters to life and added an additional level to this series! I loved listening to them all together. There was plenty of action to hold your attention. There are definitely some darker elements but all things felt authentic to the time and culture.
I love the writings of this author. This series is an attention getter and keeper. I can see some of the more realistic details which come out in this series for the time period. You will feel the brutality of the raids, betrayal, revenge, desire, love and a few surprises. The characters are brought to life and the storyline is strong and within your minds eye you will be able to envision the surroundings and the storyline as it unfolds. I went from one to another immediately wanting to see what happens next. I do recommend this series. I was gifted an ARC copy of this book and this is my voluntarily and honest review.

This is a very strong, telling trilogy that will bring out deep feelings and emotions as you read. (Vikings tend to do that, I believe.) The author also gives us a vivid mental picture of the surroundings and brings the story to life. Combined with the larger than life characters, the experience of reading and living this story line becomes very realistic and takes you there to feel what it was like going through these experiences (not all of which I really wanted to feel that vividly!). But what I’m saying is that this is a vivid expression that will stick with the reader and gives you something you won’t forget. Grab your copy and hang on for the ride! This is not for the weak.
I received this mesmerizing series from Booksprout with the author’s approval that I didn’t have to review it. After reading some of the reviews, I felt compelled to leave KU own. The Author warns that its brutal and dark. So be prepared to be thrown into the middle of the brutality of the Viking era. Even when my stomach turned, I could not put this saga down! I loved it and hated it at the same time. It’s a battle put forward even within ourselves between good and evil, Plus pure unadulterated vengeance, endurance, lust, and eventually true love. I cannot wait to read the follow up book. So I’m gladly volunteering to give this review.
This book is about Elswyth and Eirik...and a myriad of other characters. Warning: This book has lots of sex in it, so if you're not in to that you won't like the book. It also has rape, various times through out the book. This book is a Trilogy all centered around Elswyth. It shows the brutality of Viking life along with the myths and legends surrounding that time. Elswyth is one hell of a strong woman, she goes through A LOT but manages to keep her sanity and her compassion. Through their rocky start, everything thrown at them, Elswyth and Eirik manage to find their happy ever after. This is a dark, some times violent, love story.
Emmanuelle brings us three books of Elswyth and Erik's journey. It's a true Viking story full of the brutality of the times in every form. The journey of Elswyth and Erik leads to a very hot, passionate and steamy love. There are many twists and turns that will engage you. I love this author's writing. She draws you into another world and doesn't let go till the last word. I can't recommend this book set enough but I do forewarn there are triggers. There is violence but it felt authentic to what Viking life would be.

This is a set of connected books all involving Elswyth. She is one tough woman and I'm grateful that I live in this time period. #1 Viking Thunder, this one is short and hard to handle, I'm a suckered for true love and Elswyth didn't have it with Eirik. I hated that he slept with other women. #2 Viking Wolf has Eirik redeeming himself. #3 Viking Beast is both heart breaking and amazing all at the same time. Great boxset, you will not regret reading this. I also own this boxset in Audible and loved it there too. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was an enjoyable series following the stories of Elswyth, Eirik and Eldberg. I really loved the rich descriptions of this time period - the landscape, longhouses and people carrying on everyday life. I felt sorry for Elswyth as she really had a difficult path to follow. Both Eirik and Eldberg were likeable as alpha guys leading and protecting their respective communities interests. I always find it swoon worthy to see the softer side of such tough guys as the world is set right eventually. A great historical read leaving me hoping there is another novel in the series to follow!

★ Richly backdropped with much cultural detail, this was a wholly beautifully told story ★
—>>> “A-viking” we will go… Falling from Chieftan’s wife to life as a thrall in a different land to the fierce North man Eirik, Elswyth’s journey unfolds in this trilogy as she pragmatically seeks to take all the new experiences in stride.
Richly backdropped with much cultural detail, this was a wholly beautifully told story of a woman whose passion and heart begets a deep and fierce longing to be loved and to belong, matched only by her will to survive the challenges she experienced with dignity and honour intact.
