I know a good book when I see one, or should I say read one. Let me tell you Francis Ray's "A Dangerous Kiss" was a great book. Summer and Sin are both people who believe that "Happily ever after" or "Forever" isn't for them. I really enjoyed the path the story took; this book was filled with all consuming passion and a secret that Sin doesn’t want to share unless he has to.
Personally I think this novel could have picked up faster, I mean we need character development but there was just a little too much in "A Dangerous Kiss". That doesn't by any means mean that I didn't like this book, because I surely did! These characters had me wondering if I could handle some of the problems that occur in their relationship. If an author can make me think about how I would handle a situation or even if I could handle it, shows me that they have an amazing talent for creating a story and relatable characters. This book is the seventh in the Grayson Friends series and can definitely be read as a standalone. I didn’t have any problem keeping up with the storyline and characters which is a good thing since I haven’t read the rest of the series. But, there are characters from previous books that make appearances that might mean more if you have read the other six books.
Summer and Payton "Sin" Sinclair have always been the best of friends. But when they start to feel more than just friendship towards each other things get complicated. Both the Hero and Heroine have busy lives, only in these pages will you find out if they can make room for a love that could change everything.
This was another good read. I found the story and relationship between Summer and Sin sweet and frustrating. Sin was made so deliciously that I could rip him from the pages of the book. He had this stubborn wall that was a bit hard to break down because of him fighting his feelings for Summer and the real reason he is fighting his feelings. Summer was a good character as well. When she got frustrated with Sin as well, she took matters into her own hands and did a bit of the chasing. I truly love the end because their love was almost, and I said almost, a tear jerkier because to love someone regardless of what they bring to the table was nice to see. So, I love their love. Summer and Sin’s story had a certain build up until the climax of their pending relationship which is the part that could be frustrating because you are routing for their love to prevail.
I love reading about C.J and Alex, as they have found their significant other in previous books. A good read and a nice conclusion to see these best friends Sin, Alex and C.J fall in love.
Another great addition to this series. Summer and Sin were just so cute together. They both tried so hard to hide their attraction to one another to no avail. They had the foundation of a wonderful friendship, so their physical relationship was unbelievable strong. I did think though that Sin's secret was made a bigger deal than it should have been. Yes it was monumental, but there should have been better communication there. That was the only hiccup for me in this book. Overall a really good read, and I'm looking forward to reading more about the Grayson friends.
This book took me a while to read, primarily because I didn't want to be introduced to new characters, I wanted to keep reading about the Graysons and their close friends. I finally got around to reading the entire book and I was in tears towards the end. Like her other books, this one was right on point, few grammatical errors, but nonetheless, it was an awesome book.
Great read.. My heart went out to Sin and all that he thought he had to bear alone. Summer smart, successful, her beauty, and her willingness to love him in spite of just ensures that love always wins out if those involved don't fight against it and know that sometimes it okay to vulnerable to the ones you love.
So Summer and Sin were much more of a slow burn but I think they might be my favorites of the Kiss Trilogy. I love the way Summer wasn't afraid to go after what she wanted. Sin's strength and protectiveness touched me. I loved it.
These two had to overcome so many obstacles. They loved hard and steady. This book shows how one loves family and what one is willing to sacrifice for family. Great read.
Wow I’m glad she hung in there with him. I learned a lot about the Huntington’s in this book that’s why I like reading your books I learned so much nice ending.
I felt this book was poorly written. There was even a typo, which I hate to find in a book. The book was too predictable and there wasn’t much substance. I don’t recommend it.
Nothing bad but nothing special. It's a book equivalent to a hallmark movie :) Best part is it is an easy read. And sometimes that is just what the brain needs.
What happens when you’ve been friends so long that there is no other level of mere friendship? You fall in love of course! Payton “Sin” Sinclair and Summer Radcliffe have been friends for a very long time. Just friends. When love is happening all around them, Summer starts to recognize feelings that have always been just under the surface, but she was never willing to acknowledge. And those feelings are directed towards one of her dearest friends.
The problem with trying to hide your feelings from a very good friend is they know you too well. Sin knows something is bothering Summer and makes it his personal mission to bring the smile back into her eyes, although he questions his obsession to do so. Why is it so important for him for Summer to be happy? Blinded by a personally tragic medical history, Sin knows the reason but has vowed to never allow this to happen to him. He can’t fall in love (or better yet, acknowledge the love he’s already had) because it just wouldn’t be fair.
Tired of fighting the feeling, Summer, along with some convincing persuasion from her friends, decides to go after what she wants and in this case, it’s Sin. She is worried over the fleeting moments of haunting sadness in his eyes and is determined to get to the bottom of what is wrong with him. A good friend would help, right? After one dangerous kiss, all bets are off and Summer is on a mission to get her man.
Sin can’t love Summer, he just can’t. Life with him holds no happy endings and he won’t do that to one of his dearest friends, but Summer is relentless. Ultimately, Sin has no choose but to do what his heart tells him.
I love the Grayson’s and the Grayson friend’s stories. Sin and Summer’s story round out a trilogy of stories related to the series. Ms. Ray does a wonderful job introducing us to a couple that is struggling with a medical condition. In comparison to the other Grayson/Grayson Friends stories, this one falls in the middle. While I enjoyed the story, I expected just a little more from Sin. A little more “bad boy” from the king of sport consultants. Don’t get me wrong, Sin was sexy as, well, sin! So, it is definitely worth the read.
The story flows well and it a great addition to the series, which I highly recommend. I look forward to see if Sin changes his mind on an interesting issue in the future and hope to see them along the way in future Grayson Friends novels. So, A Dangerous Kiss by Francis Ray gets 3.95 pencils out of 5 pencils, job well done!

This book had romance, love, tears, heartache, laughter, family and friends along with a happily ever after for Sin and Summer. They fought the chemistry all they could having been friends for 12 years and neither wanted their friendship or dynamics to change. But change they did and only for the better. Seeing them dance around each other and for those around them to realize the change in feelings before they realized it themselves was fun to watch. Sin and Summer were both workaholics and good in their fields but that didn’t deter them from being there for their friends and family and each other. How Sin handled his brother’s illness by standing by him and his brother’s family as well as the potential that he or his nephews could get sick was a testament to the caring man he was. I would love to have any of the main characters watching my back.
A Dangerous Kiss is book 7 in the Grayson Friends series but I’ve only read books 6 and 7 so far. Now I need to go back and start at the beginning. I don’t want to miss a page of the friendships and love that were formed in earlier books. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and managed to finish it in one day. I kept turning the pages to see what would happen next and remained hooked. I look forward to reading more books by Ray and would love for this series to continue even though there was closure. She’s my kind of author!
Favorite Quote: Now her entire attention was focused on him. Now she just wanted to comfort him. What man worth anything wouldn’t want to make such a caring woman’s life a little better? He just liked making her happy. The turmoil in him eased. His hands settled on her shoulders, felt the slight trembling beneath. Something inside him twisted. He’d done that to her. He’d caused her to worry unnecessarily.

Sin and Summer are two successful people career wise but not so much in the love department. They have considered each other to be friends but of late Summer has found herself drawn to Sin with a passion she is having trouble controlling. Both Sin and Summer have seen their friends find love and just do not think it will ever happen for them, but Summer has plans to change that.
A situation for Summer to help Sin with a business dinner turns the opportunity into an action that Summer will never regret. The feelings between them is real and not going to be stopped with common sense, but it may be by the secret Sin is literally carrying within him.
Francis Ray writes a beautiful story with characters that are complicated and full of love. Every book is a delight and every reader will enjoy the romance that flows from these pages.
Payton and Summer are friends trying to avoid the feelings they have for each other in A Dangerous Kiss by Francis Ray. Payton is a sports consultant who has not been the settling type. Payton knows that it is something about Summer that makes him want to be a one woman man. Payton is scared to open his heart to a woman because of issues in his life that he has kept well hidden. Will Payton finally share with Summer?
Summer is a restaurant owner who has tried to forget her past. Summer is aware of the feelings she has for Payton but tries her best to use distractions to forget. Summer decides to give their relationship a chance. When she learns of Payton’s secret, will Summer walk away?
A Dangerous Kiss is another typical love story about friends who become lovers. The chemistry between Payton and Summer will have readers wanted to know what happens with the couple. I enjoyed the characters and the storyline.

Sin and Summer are the last two friends in a tight group of friends to fall in love. For Summer she has been falling for Sin for quite some time but can't get past his many, many women. It takes Sin a little longer to realize he loves Summer and wants her in his life.
Sin has always believed that he would never fall in love with a woman or marry because of a family genetic condition that he has refused to address. Just when thing between he and Summer heat up, his brother becomes sick and Sin chooses the wrong way to deal with his relationship with Summer. Summer is ever patient and lets Sin know that she is willing to wait and to deal with his issues.
A great summer romance novel that makes you feel happy and warm. But then most of the books in the Grayson Friends series make you feel that way.
A Dangerous Kiss was a very good read. We meet Payton "Sin" Sinclair and Summer Radcliffe and catch up with CJ, Cicely, Alex & Dianne in this latest and last installment of the Kiss Trilogy. Sin and Summer had been friends for a long time and were protective of each other and always were there for each other. Summer knew her feelings went deeper than friendship and was determined to show Sin that she would be with him no matter what. There is a secret Sin is harboring that he feels will impact their relationship and is determine to not let any one close. He never saw Summer and her love coming.
This story will have the reader wondering what is the secret and if the couple will be able to overcome its challenges. This was a beautiful story.
Of the three Alex, CJ, Sin, Sin hands down has captured me from the first book in this trilogy (Kiss) Grayson Friends. Sin is the hottie with the total body, money, smarts, and moody. Summer and Sin have known each other for a very long time. Summer also knows Sin is the man that has her heart. She wants him fiercely. She has watched as both Alex and CJ fell hard for Dianne & Ciecly. when will it be her turn.
Sn has lots of things going on in and around him. He is the ultimate friend. can he become the ultimate lover and love for someone he already cares about? Or will the secrets of his life be too much to allow for love?
Ray gives us another novel to cherish and read again.
I liked the book. I loved how Sin was so concerned for others, he consistently put his friends and family first always putting himself on the back-burner. I loved how Summer found love and fought for love to not leave her side. She stayed strong for Sin just as he had done all those years for her. Love had been there all along posing as a simple friendship; however, because they were both fighters, they fought for their love.I wish it would have went further or that there was another book which detailed the life after marriage for Sin and Summer. Seeing that he tested negative, possibly relocating to Dallas, her restaurant, their marriage, adoption. It would all make for another great book
A TOUCHING emotionally-charged romantic journey...I TRULY love the fight and stubbornness in SUMMER as her feelings for Sin change from a caring friend to an INTENSE attraction that she can no longer resist and Sin is ever the true NOBLE knight-in-shining armor taking care of EVERYONE'S needs but his own...so can two friends make the LOVE CONNECTION work...or will the "DARK" secret Sin is hiding cause him to lose the ONLY woman he's EVER loved...once again the cast is LIVELY and I enjoy the camaraderie between this close-knit group...another eye-opening, page-turning HIT from Mrs. Ray!
This is the third installment in the Grayson friends, Kiss trilogy! A Dangerous Kiss is the story of Payton "Sin" Sinclair and Summer Radcliff. I have been waiting on their story since With Just One Kiss came out and Francis Ray did not disappoint. I could tell from the start that Summer was going to be the one to knock Sin's socks off and that is exactly what she did. Summer and Sin both have their problems but learned to work through them and see that love conquers all. This was my favorite story of the Kiss Trilogy and i hope we get to look forward to more of the Grayson friends books.
This was a book I was waiting for I just had to know Sins secret , when I found out I felt so bad . Sin and Summer were meant to be together but I felt the road to romance was long , and boring ,when got to 60% the Book got good . It was touching the way Sin cared for his brother and friends , It was touching how he was with Summer. Summer was a strong woman who would be there for Sin to the end I was really happy the way this story ended I just wish the road there was more interesting.
I loved this book from beginning to end. It made me reflect upon my own life and how men just can't seem to tell you how they really feel because of being so stubborn. It also made me realize that even I need to open up more so that this one man could just say how he feels before I walk. Very great read filled with a lot of mystery until close to the end.
