This lab book helped in Lab. It wasn't much use to read it from cover to cover though.

Okay. This may be weird but this has to be my favorite textbook. The photos used are beautiful and super sharp. The organization is logical and helpful. Particularly the Gram-positive/negative biochemical tests; extra-detailed conceptual explanations and quick, easy-to-understand procedures. Aesthetically, it's absolutely gorgeous. I'm glad I bought instead of rented, and I'm not even a biology or microbiology major.
