'The Slut Chronicles : enslaved' by Kritika Sharma is the second book in the series The Slut Chronicles. The first book was 'The Slut Chronicles : betrayal'. The third book is going to be released soon.

The book is about the protagonist Ishana who is a small town poor girl, who comes to the city of Delhi to be away from her miserable old life and start a new life here. She gets full scholarship to study her BA course in English.

She then meets Pratham, a fashion photographer who is looking for a assistant. He hired Ishana looking her background as she was in need of desperate money. Soon, they both fall in love and the story continues.

Another side of the story is where Ishana starts her modeling career in hope of finding her lost brother Rakshit. She has her best friend Shiva and sarv always by her side.

The story starts by a journalist, reporter Ravi interviewing about Ishana, who is now a very famous model and influencer in fashion industry. Read more to know what happens to Pratham and Ishana's love and also what's the story behind the title of the book.

The genuinely liked the storyline and the way the author has written the book, very imaginative and intriguing. I read the book in one go, could not leave it down for even a second. Curiosity builds up after every chapter.

The story follows Ishana, a supermodel who has seen and endure her share of unhappiness and disappointments. Right from the prologue, the story begins on an interesting note that will keep you intrigued. Her portrayal as a virtuous and generous person along with being a supermodel was done amazingly. Then the walk down the memory lane narrated the story of how has her life changed over the years and this was my favorite part because Ishana who was mystery at the beginning, was slowly becoming familiar. Ishana's life was constantly changing it's course and she has conflicting emotions when it came to trusting a person with all her heart.

But when life throws you enough tragic curve balls, you learn to not to rely anyone. Find out as Ishana finally reveals the deepest, darkest and shocking secrets that made her who was now.

Talking about the plot would be difficult, because there are situations and characters in the story which cannot be discussed early on unless you can have read the book or are ready for spoilers, so I won't be able to tell you much about it but I can definitely assure you that if you decide to pick this up for your next read then you are in for some seriously addicting story.

The protagonist Ishana was a complex character, she was a person who you would either love or dislike and that added to the intensity the author wanted this particular character to attain. Considering the different reminisces of her past, I think she was one of strong and admirable protagonist, her trait of never letting difficults rule over her is what made her shine as a promising lead.

This is the second book and the lastest release by the author, I cannot wait to read the other books because I'm thoroughly impressed by the writing style that is enough to make me glued to the story.

Bold, sizzling and enticing, I would definitely recommend this to the readers who are curious to see how the title of the book comes into play and also, if the first two lines of the synopsis isn't enough to make you curious then I don't know what will. I finished this book in just four hours and loved it.

5 out of 5 stars indeed!

I guess slut chronicles has two books in series but I directly picked this book up as I didn’t know about it but you can definitely read this book independently. I never felt that story is missing as I have skipped other one first. The protagonist of the story is Ishani Khattri. She is a supermodel. But as we have seen in Bollywood movies, the success comes with dark secrets. Ishani has also certain hidden secrets within her. She had past relationships but they have betrayed her. Few plot predictions we can predict with the title. Besides this, many personal as well as professional life struggles have been described in her life and how she fights and overcome against them and became supermodel. I loved this book because of the story. Though I picked up this seeing title, it has uniquely amazing story. The narration style of the author is really good. The book is literally filled with lots of twists and turns and numerous characters. While reading you can never predict what’s going to happen next. Overall good one. I am definitely going for the other book. Recommended from my side

The beginning is frantic and is very fast paced. ‘I’m an endurer and this too shall pass’. The female protoganist was interviewed by a journalist and what follows is a rush of adrenaline as she speaks of her past and confesses, committing a murder. But she soon wakes up to realise, it’s all just dream. Was it just a dream or is there more to her story that she lets people around her know ? What really happened in her past and why would her boyfriend label her using a filthy word.
Is she really who her boyfriend claims her to be or she is an innocent ? What horrors has she endured as a teenager ? She had an endearing relationship with her brother and considered him, her lifeline and happiness but what really happened to him ? Why did he disappear off the face of earth. What all did the orphaned ishaana endure ?
How was life to her ? You could never guess. Read the story to find out more. Narration is simple and storyline is good.

Enslaved: The Slut Chronicles series by Kritika Sharma is story of Ishana whom the fate has dealt a very rough hand.
This is book 2 of the series.Though I haven’t read the first book Betrayed yet it’s not difficult to understand what had happened in Ishana’s past and what turned her into a Sociopath.
The cover of the book is very attractive and the title piques curiosity. Betrayed Ishana practically fears every man who tries to come close but there was something about Pratham that Ishana is enslaved to his love even when he is no longer there. She names her NGO after the name Pratham had suggested. The upheaval in her life continues in the second book too and in the end it is revealed that who is behind all the unpleasant events in her life.
The plot indeed is very gripping and makes the book unputdownable. Narration is good and the language lucid. Few details I found little incoherent. The book is fast paced and story flows smoothly.
Overall the book is an intriguing one.

[REVIEW]
The story follows the character of Ishana. Ishana is a supermodel in the story. She is portrayed as a generous person. The plot slowly starts by introducing the character of Ishana. It is shown as a roller coaster ride for her. She has been through constant life changes and struggles. She open up about her dark and heart wrenching past to a journalist. Ravi is the only person who gets her to open up about the bad times. Her questionable past starts to show when her past comes to haunt her.
The plot of the book is intriguing. The title and the cover are really scandalous which makes it really interesting. I love that the story flows nicely. The narration and the language needs a lot of work. The gradual change between the past and present was really smooth. I like the development of the characters.
Overall, it was a 4/5 ⭐️ read for me.

#qotd Mention a book which reiterates the saying;
"Don't Judge A Book by it's COVER & if I may add, by it's TITLE too"..
#aotd This is one book, which caught me unexpected!
The 'halo effect' created by it's cover & title, in no way came true when I read the book!
It's a gem!

💄This book is the 2nd instalment of a TRILOGY, The Slut Chronicles.

BOOK-1, BETRAYED released in 2018.
BOOK-2 ENSLAVED, this one, released in 2019.
This is the 6th book by the Author @Kritikasharma
Available @amazondotin for INR 175/- paperback; @amazonkindle for INR 125/-.
BOOK-3 OBSESSED is releasing soon.

💅 GENRE: Romantic Thriller. Fiction
Based on a true story.

It has 33chapters divided in 224 pages.

"They can call me a sag-doll
Or can tag me anything,
But they cannot break my spirit.
I am an ENDURER, and THIS TOO SHALL PASS."

Let's begin with the story..

The word "Slut" is a derogatory term used for women..
"Chronicles" means a factual written account of important events in order of occurrence.

This story revolves around a girl named, Ishana Khatri- one of the biggest super-models of India, her friends- Shiva & Sarv, her father & brother Rakshit, Dev, Kunal (from school time), a Journalist Ravi and Pratham.

She had such dark secrets that no innocent soul could fathom.

She had been keeping her secrets buried within, but because of some unknown reasons, recently, she had opened up to a stranger, a journalist named Ravi.

And...the whole story..the dark past of Ishana is revealed in this storytelling..

The STORYLINE is so strong, that the reader cannot in any way anticipate what is about to come.

The PLOT is super engrossing.

The last book talked about her betrayals..this one talks about her past..

This book can sure be read & enjoyed as a STANDALONE.

But THE END leaves the reader on tenterhooks! It's a cliffhanger & you crave for the next & last part of this trilogy!

The WRITING STYLE is impeccable & very engaging & impressive and NOT THE LEAST DESPICABLE Or CONTEMPTIBLE.

It's an AwESoMe #thriller !!

If words could kill, Only the "Prologue" was able enough to do that!!
It's fantastically written, perfect thriller material, to keep you gasping for the next chapter!

Read it, give it a try, you won't be least disappointed.

This is the 2nd installment of the series. First book is "The Slut Chronicles : Betrayed" and the 3rd book "The Slut chronicles : Obsessed" is going to release soon.

The book is basically a conversation between the protagonist Ishana and the news reporter Ravi which switches from past to present. She continued the story of her college when she moved to Delhi and into a college with 100% scholarship. But her cruel mother stopped sending her money and she was forced to do some job. She saw a vacancy in the photography club and applied for it. Pratham, hired her and later few circumstances made them both fell for each other. Later she got into the modeling in a hope to find her lost brother.
What's in the future for her?
Will she be able to find her brother?
Read the book to find out yourselves.

First and foremost, the book is very gripping. I am a very slow reader and I've finished this book in 4.5 hours or so. The plot line is very interesting and twisting. Every chapter arises some new questions which are now making me extremely eager to read the 3rd part. Author has left some ends loose which don't feel like they are done deliberately. They felt very casual and well blended with the plot. The shifting of the conversation from past to present is very smooth and isn't abrupt at any point. Language is very subtle and easy to read. Also, there are a couple of Harry Potter references in the book which makes me so happy (Potterhead forever). One very good thing about this book is that it can be enjoyed as a standalone as well although reading it as a series will make a lot more sense ofc.
Talking about the ending, I felt it is a bit rushed. It could be have been a little more detailed and slow. Although the cliffhanger is mind boggling. The book become a bit obvious at few points and I wasn't presuming some expected things to happen in the book.

Coming over to the characters, Ishana's character is once again developed very cleverly and beautifully although I liked the Ishana of the first book more which was very bold. She is way too vulnerable in this book which makes me sad for sure. But few of her decisions in the book made no sense to me. Also the characters of Sarv and Shiva felt very wierd to me.

Title of the book is just appropriate and will make sense as soon as you'll finish reading the book.
Cover is very scandalous and intriguing.

In short, the book is phenomenal and very promising. If you've read the first book then I guess you might have already finished reading it but I haven't then do pick it up as soon as possible. And if you haven't read the first book then pick it up anyways, you'll get glued to it in no time.

They called me a Sensation, but little did they know all I craved for was a quiet and normal life.

❤❤❤❤❤❤
This story is about a girl named Ishana, who raised into fame and became very famous model celebrity.

Ravi is a journalist who wanted to know more about her and later he did but it came with shocking surprise.

He could have never thought about her past life is full with hatred, suicide ,murder.

Pratham is a skilled photographer who fall in Love with Ishana and later they both got surprise marriage ? There only child is prathana , Ishana's NGO.

Language is simple and easy to understand. Each character described in very good way . Everything feels real .
❤❤❤❤❤
Quotes I like
‘Don’t fall for a man who is not willing to marry you. If he loves you, he will make you his own. Don’t do anything unless the promise of marriage is fulfilled.’”

❤❤❤❤❤
I am quite scared of this girl Ishana when she started telling her story about how she killed two boys and she wont feel bad for it , and if she want to kill / murder the journalist if he black mail her , she can do it happily .

Relationship written well always get to me , it feels real and I feel like she is someone I know and that's what author did it here . The way she portrayed pratham and Ishana love story is real , it feel alive to actually know them .Author really bought every scene into life by choosing great words .

I was feeling sad after knowing Ishana's life , how much she endured in her life still she is giving soo much to society and helping other deprived girls and women .

Author clearly depict how a girl seen in society if something bad happen to her . This story left me crying in every pages . I can feel pain of Ishana .

Also author depicts the mind of psychopath, how they commit murder ,how they planned it with out leaving any evidence .
❤❤❤❤❤
Overall, one of the best books in this genre in 2019 for me

Book Name: The Slut Chronicles: Enslaved
Author: Kritika Sharma
Review- The Slut Chronicles: Enslaved is second book in the series of Slut Chronicles triology. The plot revolves around Ishana Khatri who is a famous super model. The story is full of twist and turns. Ishana was having a career at peak where she was all over the newspapers and headlines where luxury reflected in her lifestyle, paparazzi all around but she had deep secrets hidden behind the limelight. Even though her career was giving her everything she needed she ran an NGO , a social service which seemed just like a payback to society for the fame she got but the past holds a lot to be revealed. We always admire the stardom and limelight but the least we know about the scars it hides. I really liked the plot as it showed a close view of the life of a celebrity and the conspiracies unknown. The beginning of the book revealed dark fears followed by smooth revelations of the past. Ishana is interviewed by Ravi and Ishana opens up a different side of how she works for her NGO and a completely different side of her. The story was full of suspense, justification of events, dark past, stardom and connecting links to the past. The story was high paced and every flip of page kept me hooked till the last page to unfold the mystery. I really like book full of mystery and the author has done justice to the genre. The title of the book is apt for the concept. The cover is very attractive and goes well with the concept.

Isn't love a funny thing? Few moments of happiness, and then a lifetime of enslavement.

'The Slut Chronicles : enslaved' by Kritika Sharma is the second book in the series The Slut Chronicles. The first book was 'The Slut Chronicles : betrayal'. The third book is 'The Slut Chronicles: Obsessed'.
The story gyrates around the protagonist Ishana. She is a girl with a poor family background. Her mother is a monster, she is such a lady who threatens her own daughter. On the other, she has a caring father and brother. Unfortunately, she loses her father and her brother disappears to nowhere. Later she moves out to Delhi for her betterment of life. She gets a scholarship to study BA English. As she is in need of money for her survival, she then meets Pratham, a fashion photographer who is looking for an assistant. He hired Ishana looking at her background as she was in need of desperate money. Soon, they both fall in love and the story continues.
Another side of the story is where Ishana starts her modeling career in hope of finding her lost brother Rakshit. She has her best friend Shiva and sarv always by her side.
The language was easy and understandable. I strongly feel that when a potential plot is written, language should be kept simple and not complex else the outcome would be messy and confusing. Plot construction is really beautiful, one can actually feel the transition. The story is well paced and will definitely keep you hooked till the very last page. This book focused on Ishana's college life only and I guess the rest of her past life will be revealed in its third part.

The Slut Chronicles: Enslaved is a second installment of The Slut Chronicles. I haven't read the first part which is The Slut Chronicles: Betrayed, maybe that kinda impacted my reading experience, I'll talk about that in next para. It is a work of romance thriller, following the main character Ishana. The author very well knows how to keep readers at the edge of their seats. The story is narrated by one character to another and narration was very good, because when you read it, there is no ifs and whys; you just accept whatever happened. Well, the plot is all about how a small-town girl, tortured and bullied by a parent, becomes a model.
.
The backgrounds were cloudy because it was portrayed so very simple while it could not be. There was a lack of depth, why is it happening whatever is happening. However, the characters were very strong and very well developed but there was nothing like character arcs. It would have been a very great read if there were more details about the crucial things like a bully parent and psychopathic behaviors. Maybe that all because I didn't read the first book. Still it was a good and really enjoyed the fast paced plot.
.
At last, there is an excellent thrilling plot and romance at its best. You will like it only because the characters are so alluring. I loved Pratham's character and Ankit's too. Go fall in love with characters and have en enthralling adventure with them.

Gripping plot and amazing naration

The slut chronicles: enslaved by Kritika Sharma is a fabulous read. Folks!! if you are mystery lover, then must pick this book. It is the second book of this series. The third book is going to release soon and I can’t wait to read it. Firstly, I must say that please please don’t judge this book by it’s cover.

The story gyrates around the protagonist Ishana. She is a girl with a poor family background. Her mother is a monster, she is such a lady who threaten her own daughter. On the other, she has a caring father and brother. Unfortunately, she losses her father and her brother disappear to nowhere. Later she moves out to Delhi for her betterment of life. She gets scholarship to study BA English. As she is in need of money for her survival, she joins in a photograph studio as an assistant. From then her life takes turns. Grab your copy to know more.

As I said earlier don’t judge this book by it’s cover. The plot is gripping. You can’t put down a book just like that without finishing it. Your curiosity increases by each chapter. The way narration takes the story to next level. It shifts between past and present. All characters are perfectly built. I was stunned by the twists though. The pace is flawless. Overall it is a unputdownable read. It is story which is not be forgotten. Really enjoyed this book.

How will you judge an exploited and sexually harassed girl if she murders her offender?

If you think this book is some cheesy erotica then you are wrong! Don't choose this book if you are looking for such content. The cover and title might seem misguiding but is a hundred percent in sync with the context of the book.

This book is about an exceptionally beautiful girl who came from a very small family and made her name in the modeling industry. This small-town girl not only became a supermodel but also became a heart-throbbing sensation. Like any other reporter, Ravi also was looking for exclusives of her life but he never would have thought that the interview he will get will not only change Ishana's image in his eyes but also will shake him to his core!

This story is about a sexually harassed, defamed, almost raped girl! This story is about the suspenseful deaths of her offenders! This story is about love, heartbreak, and betrayal! This story is about abuse, struggles, and hard-work!

I like how the author uses lucid language in her novels and makes her books easy to read in one sitting. I like her writing style and the fact that she keeps the suspense until the end. This book is filled with thrill, suspense, and romance. A perfect combo! Go read this book before the release of third book in the series.

This book contains the journey of Ishana from her college days to her present times.
In the prologue, Ishana seems quite cleaver & mercyless but just when a reader reads the first chapter, one can actually gets to know the Kindness of Ishana.
The theme of her NGO & it's naming as "Prarthana" was beautiful.
The story is told by Ishana to Ravi.
Curiosity of a reader is very relatable to Ravi.
Ishana's character suffered through emotional & physical trauma but still she didn't give up which proves her strong and at the same time she was always supported by her friends when she needed the most.
The first part of the book is too gripping that I finished in one go but the second part is bit slow paced.
The third part was beautiful even though I didn't like unfortunate incidents happening to kind souls.
At the end, Ishana's apartment surely made the story bit more emotional.
Ishana was clever as evil when it came to paying back for the bad once but also Ishana had a sensitive heart that always protected her loved ones.
I didn't like the way Ishana kept neglecting her feelings because of her past initially but was impressed the way she kept promise.
Without revealing much about the story, all I can say was the book was a good read & recommended to all.

Book- The slut chronicles: Enslaved
Author- Kritika Sharma
Type- Fiction
Format- E Book (kindle)
Rating-5/5

The slut chronicles: Enslaves by Kritika Sharma is a beautiful fiction book that takes the reader through the cruelty of some aspects of the world. The story is about a girl who was betrayed by multiple persons and multiple times, yet she failed to leave her valour aside and forwarded with same nerve as a person with sheer prudence can only do.

From the start to end, how the girl faces various struggles, how she overcomes each betrayal, how she chooses her next course of action and how she reacts to a particular situation was well portrayed. The book has capacity to keep the reader sticked to it.

The title of the book has been one of the attractive ones so far, which I have encountered as a reader. The plot is about the supermodel Ishana, and her life in the glamour world. The initial chapters of the book would bring out a feeling of sociopath residing in Ishana. However, as the mystery unfolds you would get an understanding of her life. The character of Ishana has been portrayed as a bipolar person who have extremes in her, she could be fairly loving and giving towards people or go hating them for life. Life definitely gives her share of happiness and disappointments. The plot starts with an interesting incidence with Ravi, the journalist in the picture. The characters have been framed well in the story, however the story could have been worked with backdrop of characters.

This is the second book and the latest release by the author, I cannot wait to read the other books. The language adapted by the author has thoroughly impressed me which would keep the readers glued till the climax. If a reader is looking for bold and sizzling read, this would be the one read I would recommend by the author. Although, I would also recommend the readers to read part 1 to understand the writing style of the author and grasp the story better.

This book is the second part of the series, I haven't read the first one yet, and this one can be read as a standalone also.

.

Coming to Book, the plot of the story is intriguing and captivating. Once you start you will be completely engaged in the plot, till the last page. Loved the way the author had narrated and portrayed the character of Ishana. Story has twists which will leave you shocked and as you go on reading, your curiosity will just increase.

Mysterious nature is maintained throughout the plot. Other than Ishana, story has other characters too, author had very well done justice to them. Gripping plot makes story mind-blowing. Writing style of the author is smooth and the story is fast-paced. Cover is eye-catchy one. If you love reading something gripping, intriguing this book !

The slut Chronicles,
Second part but doesn't seems so.
You can definitely pick it up and assume it as a standalone and enjoy it. But always better if you read the previous part.
The story is Focused in the protagonist, and centred in such way it doesn't deviates from that.
Don't assume it as another erotic kind of novel.
I interpreted that by the cover and title, in such case read the blurb or sample and you'll have an idea of what I am saying.
I don't recommend any book however interesting it is, if it doesn't adds value to me, or to anyone's life.
This book is worthy, worthy to be read and shared.
Well we see a lot of stories of someone coming out of a gloomy past and blooming like a lotus.
The thing is about reality, relevance and touch with the inspiration.
I am seeing forward to the next book.
And want to see what it holds to reveal.
The presentation and narration is simple, it is good for the ease of reading but I guess that if proper vocab used it could make the reading more engaging.
And story telling is nice, the fine elements should be taken care of. Because somehow they build the entire big picture

" Don't fall for a man who is not willing to marry you. If he loves you, he will make you his own." The Slut Chronicles is a trilogy and the first book is Betrayed which follows the journey of Ishana, an innocent girl turned heartless. This book further follows Ishana's journey narrated by her to RaviRavi was already shocked to know Ishana's past but was equally desperate to know her further life happenings which shaped her. She finally found her love and her career was taking a rise. When she was finally going to settle in her life something bad happened again. What was exactly going in her life? Was she cursed? I loved how the author described each and every thing in detail. The emotions were so real and I could relate to the character Ishana. You'll come through every emotion of love, romance, hatred and betrayal. The language was easy and understandable. The story is well paced and will definitely keep you hooked till the very last page. This book focused on Ishana's college life only and I guess the rest of her past life will be revealed in its third part. I'm eagerly waiting for the last part of the book now.

Definitely Recommended

"The Slut Chronicles : enslaved" authored by Kritika Sharma is the second book of the series after "The Slut Chronicles: Betrayed."

The book is a decent amalgamation of unsaid sentiments of betrayal, love, trust, happiness and enslavement. The protagonist 'Ishana' is the one whose struggles and eternal hard-hitting consequences are portrayed in the plot. The narration of Ishana is sure for readers to experience goosebumps and the reader would find oneself engaged and gripped in the soft clutches of the book.

I completed the book in a short span of time as it was worthy enough of my attention especially where complexities of the characters were involved. The narration is undoubtedly audacious and subtle at the same time.

The one thing which the book could have taken care of is the promptness of disappointments at a few places. It is very difficult to cope up with all the entities of gloominess together.

P.S. "For there to be betrayal, there would have to have been trust first."

Enslaved by Kritika Sharma is the book 2 of The Slut Chronicles. It is based on the life of controversial model, Ishana. More about her life and past get enlightened through an interview taken by Ravi. Many dark side of hers get revealed but linking her life only to controversies and negativity would be a complete injustice with the character. There's a positive side to the story too but that completely depends on how a reader accepts the character with all her flaws and finds meaning to it.

Moving towards the narration and language, it is simple and lucid. I strongly feel that when a potential plot is written, language should be kept simple and not complex else the outcome would be messy and confusing. Plot construction is really beautiful, one can actually feel the transition.

Although the book is related to its previous part but can be considered as stand alone too. I haven't read Book 1 but had almost no difficulties in understanding it. The cover looks beautiful and the title justifies the story.

Looking forward to read its 3rd part as well. Hope it releases soon.

Story is about a girl, Ishana who is a small town girl, who comes to Delhi to be away from her miserable old life and start a new and happy journey, little she knew how that happiness she is looking so hard for will turn into sadness.

Pratham, a fashion photographer who is looking for a assistant, hires Ishana. Soon enough, they both fall in love.
Will they ever be together?
Where the life will take them?

The story starts by a journalist, reporter Ravi interviewing Ishana. And how desperate he becomes to know more and more about her life and pain she endured.
What good she does in the society even with strange and powerful personality.

The journey of how she goes from being a 'poor sag doll' to a super model.

The cover of the book is very attractive and the title piques curiosity.
The plot is very gripping and it was difficult for me to keep it aside without finishing it off.
Every character is very well described and how they develop is quite intriguing.

I TOTALLY LOVED IT.

This was something I'd seen but I finally decided to click on it and give it a try.
Starting from the beginning the cover picture looks very attractive.
The story follows a supermodel who is also a lead in this story, her name is Ishana. The story starts with an interview which was taken by a guy name Ravi as the story grows Ishana's past comes out. Her life, struggles and everything is portrayed so deeply and makes it engaging at the same time.
I just loved the concept of this story as how Ishana takes her NGO seriously.
Everything is linked internally and its full of twists.
Last but not the least Kritika (Author) brought a completely different as well as a unique story. She have done complete justice to each and every character in the story. You'll never feel lost or bored. She used simple language and narrated the story properly.
Just give it a try, u'll surely luvd it. Highly Recommend
