I wouldn’t normally mark a textbook on my Goodreads but I have read every single page of this book. I learned a lot from this book and I feel like it is well written. Minus one star for the tears shed taking the quizzes 😂😭
I read this book for graduate school and rated it according to other educational texts.
While I admit that I did not read this entire book, the parts that applied to my action research proposal were very helpful.
This is obviously an incredibly specific text, but I would recommend it to anyone who is completing an action research study in the field of education.
Even as an educational text, this was a good read! I learned so much from the 2nd edition during my research courses. It was easy to follow and formatted in a way that made it possible to use the text as a quick reference.
I think it's functional, and I'm not sure anyone could make a "how to" about educational research sound juicy, but I wish Mertzler would have tried harder.
