When American covert operative Chase Fulton finally believes his life has become as close to normal as it will ever be, he finds himself in a magnificent anchorage in The Bahamas with his beautiful new wife on the first night of their honeymoon. But as the sun melts across the western horizon, his dream vacation is thrown into chaos when a mega yacht races into the harbor at full speed, bearing directly on his catamaran. After narrowly surviving the collision, it soon becomes obvious the episode was no accident.
In the wreckage lies the body of a beautiful former Russian spy Chase remembers all too well, but the bullet hole at the base of her skull makes it crystal clear she was not a victim of the crash. She was instead an unmistakable warning from the Russians, who have declared that they’re gunning for America’s newest hero and will stop at nothing to have Chase Fulton’s head on the Kremlin’s silver platter.
From the frozen wilds of the Siberian Coast to the frigid depths of the foreboding Black Sea, Chase must forge out renewed alliances with ghosts from his past to crush the will of the Russian Sluzhba Vneshney Razvedki and save not only his life, but the lives of the ones he loves. Sunken sailboats, nuclear submarines, seaplanes in Siberia, and the return of Anya Burinkova are just the tip of the iceberg in this nonstop thrill ride, guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Creator of The Chase Fulton Novels series and The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins Series, Cap Daniels is a former sailing charter captain, scuba and sailing instructor, pilot, Air Force veteran, and civil servant of the U.S. Department of Defense. Raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee, his early infatuation with salt water was sparked by the fascinating, and sometimes true, sea stories told by his father, a retired Navy chief petty officer. Those stories of adventure on the high seas sent Cap in search of adventure of his own, which eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and his wife Melissa spend as much time as possible on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.
With a headful of larger-than-life characters and their thrilling exploits, Cap pours his love of adventure and passion for the ocean onto the pages of his action adventure series, The Chase Fulton Novels and his new series Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins.
Inspired by the likes of John D. Macdonald’s Travis McGee, Randy Wayne White’s Doc Ford, and Wayne Stinnett’s Jesse McDermitt, Cap creates thrilling tales of action and adventure set throughout the Caribbean and coastal Florida and Georgia by intertwining nautical adventure with international espionage. Cap’s Chase Fulton Novels series promises to keep readers on the edge of their seats, trying to guess what new danger or adventure lies just around the corner.
The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins series is a spin-off starring the most controversial and intriguing character from the Chase Fulton Novels. After defecting to the United States, Anastasia "Anya" Burinkova, a former Russian SVR assassin and intelligence operative puts her lethal skill set into action against the powerful Russian Mafia. In this gritty, organized-crime thriller series, Cap Daniels takes his readers into the dark underworld of the Russian Mafia weaving actual events into fiction to leave the reader's heart pounding and their fingers itching to turn the page.

Book Review – The Angel’s– Cap Daniels From the frozen wilderness of Siberia to the frigid dark depths of the Black Sea, protagonist Chase Fulton must forge out renewed alliances from his past to stop a wicked Russian and save not only his life, but the lives of his loved ones in this, Cap Daniels’ eighth Chase Fulton novel, “The Angel’s Chase.” This story and the series are straight up page turners. Daniels continues to take the main character, Chase Fulton on a new, exciting, globe-trotting adventure. So far, I’ve read books 1-8 of the series and Daniels persists in telling venturous and daring stories with all of them. Not only is this story ‘captivating’ and highly readable but well written and all all-encompassing. Daniels makes the characters, places and actions come to life with vivid imagery and light laugh-out-loud humor. I commend Daniels for creating good, believable characters and weaving them into gripping adventures in a fascinating series. Like his other books, The Angel’s Chase has a plausible complex plot that incorporates interesting travel, lots of covert operations and characters readers can relate to easily. A very interesting, quick read (240+ pages read in one day), an exciting storyline, with terrific characters, The Angel’s Chase is another Cap Daniels “CAPtivating” and appealing read.
Another outstanding adventure from Cap Daniels. Each one you read in the series makes you want to get the next one, asap. And there is more here than an exciting story and great characters. It is rare in works of fiction, but through his protagonist Chase Fulton, Daniels shares his questions and thoughts about bigger issues along the way and gives the reader worthwhile things to ponder. There is more to his books than it may seem at a quick surface read.
If you've followed Chase Fulton's story, you know he deserves a peaceful, happy honeymoon with his beloved Penny, somewhere that's warm, on the water, and quiet. Unfortunately for Chase and Penny -- but not for us readers -- he gets anything but. Although Angel's Chase opens with a funeral for a fallen friend, the eclectic (and sometimes lethal) collection of men and women gathered around Chase in Georgia sense the possibilities of a new beginning to their covert, off-the-books operations. Someone's got to save the world, right? But the newly married couples' quiet time is short-lived, for when their catamaran is rammed by a (seemingly) out-of-control vessel, old mysteries -- as well as old lovers and enemies -- surface, and Chase and his team must coalesce fast to save a life. A life that may threaten his marriage, his team, and his country. Cap Daniels writes thrillers with not just action and adventure, but humor, heart, and soul, and you'll find him hunting down not just bad guys, but wrestling with his better angels, in this newest in the Chase Fulton series.
I read this book in3 hours and it was great! Now on to book 9. I just wish there were more than 11 books in this series. Anyone who loves adventure should read this entire series. Once again thank you!GMZ
Wish Cap could write them as fast as I can read them!
Just finished reading The Angel's Chase in two nights!
Book #8 in the series is a straight up page turner. Cap Daniels has managed to take his character, Chase Fulton on a new, exciting, globe-encompassing, adventure. Standing in for the still recovering (from book#7), Clark, Hunter brings his own crazed, inquisitive, mind and laugh-out-loud sense of humor along. Since I don't want to spoil a single minute for fellow readers, I'm just going to say, read it as soon as you can get your eyes on a copy. And, I hope you enjoy the adventures of Chase, companions, and comrades as much as I have.
Cap Daniel's has the secret of creating great, believable characters and weaving them into gripping adventures and a compelling series. Like his other books there's a plausible complex plot that requires interesting travel, lots of covert logistics and characters you can relate to easily ... like Mongo and Anya. The main character is well conceived with a good blend of bravado and humility. My only complaint is the book reads too fast and Cap Daniels writes too slow!
Just when you think the Chase Fulton Novels can't get any better Cap Daniels proves you wrong. From sunny Florida to frozen Siberia, Cap makes the characters, places and actions come to life so vividly that you are there! This eighth novel in the series, after another fascinating dedication, dives right into a story you will not want to end. You will definitely be wishing for Spring and Book#9. Don't miss a single book in this great series.
Saved this book for a couple of weeks knowing it would be a non-stop read. The adventures and characters continue to develop and remain interesting. The events moved at a rapid pace keeping the story engaging. Looking forward to book 9, hopefully leaving the Russians behind. Some Caribbean adventures and more "normal" life for Chase and Penny.
So far I’ve read books 1-8 of the Chase Fulton series and Cap does a great job of storytelling with all of them. Not only is the story compelling and highly readable but unlike many of the Kindle edition books I read, these are extremely well edited. I’m not constantly correcting spelling or finishing an incomplete thought for the author. I will definitely finish the series and highly recommend it for fans of spy type thrillers like these.
Cap Daniels continues the adventures of Chase Fulton. Cap doesn't kill of prior book heros but adds them to the current book in a healing mode. Cap brings Anya and Penny together (brave move). And the great ending leads us to believe their's another book. Great job!
Ah, yes! Another sailing, flying romp around the planet! It seems that Chase and Penny will never get a honeymoon, but they do find moments of quiet here and there. The Russians are trying very hard to eliminate Chase but he's come up with a plan. Well, sort of... Can Chase be trusted to meet up with Anya without Clark by his side?
Great story!!! As always wonderful characters. Liked the new introduction. Loved the Penny/Anya story line. Can't wait for the spring book!! Keep the stories coming!!!
Very interesting, exciting storyline, with terrific characters and development. I'm looking forward to many more in the adventures of Chase and his "commrades"! My only critique is the rather abrupt, albeit expected ending.
Damn.... Good story. But , it ended too short, like hitting a brick wall at eighty miles an hour... on a motorcycle! I hope the next book in the series picks up on what happens to Ana in America.
Had me thinking I would not like the ending but anus survived to carry on with the great group in this series I truly loved this book vial from costs Rica no amigos
Really enjoy this series. The stories, characters and relationships are all fun. Feel like I am standing in the room with them as the conversations are taking place. Keep up the good work.
This is the second time through the Chase series for me just finished book# 8 The Angels Chase. Totally awesome. All the characters are great. Excellent storys. I can never put them down.
Another wonderful book from Cap! A perfect blend of drama and intrigue along with personal relationships and everyday guy stuff! An American James Bond character.
When winter comes to WI, I seem to want to read books that are entertaining, lite, and even somewhat shorter than normal. The Chase Fulton series fits this need well.
Chase is a covert operator for the U.S. government, but nothing on the books indicates he works for the government. It sounds like an independent contractor who has to file 1099. Ha, Ha... Chase has planes, boats, and plantations at his disposal and travels the world for the "jobs" he accomplishes.
Chase has a wonderful wife, coworkers, dear friends, and prominent leaders despite the assassin jobs and covert operations. Pretty fairytale right? I said lite reading, didn't I? The stories are fun and somewhat suspenseful, and I enjoy them. Maybe they are right for you.
Chase and Penny are finally going to be able to celebrate their wedding, but taking a honeymoon! Right now, Clark is back at Bonaventure Plantation with the rest of the crew and is trying to get well. In his recent assignment, Clark broke his back along with several ribs and suffered other injuries.
Chase and Penny are off to the Bahamas, when they see a vessel heading straight toward them. In trying to avoid the hit, will they be able to save their beloved, Aegis vessel. When the other vessel crashes, Chase and Penny are surprised to find out who was trying to kill them.
Now Chase has to go to Russia with this team, to try and save his life!!
These books have been great so far, action packed, lots side stories and God guys beating bad guys(and gals). However this book has a major flaw. The Russians want Chase dead and he plans to provide them with the ending they want, without actually dieing. That's pretty much the whole premise of the book and how they get there The glaring issue is, Chase is high profile in the spy/assassin world. If he now expects to pick up from where he left off, the Russians will know it was all a faked storyline and he's back to square one.
