Cedric and Evelyn
This is the 12 th and final book of this series. I have loved each and every one of them. They have been steamy and sexy. With hot alpha men who know how to turn is on and there woman. Cedric and Evelyn met when they were young. This is their story.

To me, Cedric was almost the perfect hero. Possessive and protective. Hot, but not conceited. I love how he started out a physically weak boy but then by working out religiously transformed himself into a strong, buff man. He honed his intelligence as well and became a strategic planner.
Cedric was not a manhoe despite being in a MC. That was so refreshing not having to read about the hero having sex with club hoes. In fact he was the opposite. Heroine was total devoted to the heroine even during a 2 year separation. She was his one and only. Cedric is a total unicorn in that way, only having one lover, especially given the fact that he was not the heroine’s. The heroine was not loose by any means as she had less than a handful of lovers. However she was more sexually experienced that the hero making her atypical as well. I loved that the story turned that sexual double standard on its head. Kudos the authors for doing that.
Back to Cedric. He had other qualities that I love as well. He is totally in love and obsessed with the heroine. Everything he did was for her. Cedric admitted that she was his addiction, his crack. The man is a stalker as well as stalkerlicious. Be still my heart.
The only things about him that I wished were different were that he initially lacked bravery and he was not jealous enough for my liking. (Jealous and possessive heroes are my kryptonite.) Cedric was afraid of losing the heroine’s friendship and so instead of letting her know that he loved her he stood by and watched her date other boys when they were teenagers, for way too long. Then during the separation she was married to an abusive man who sent him several videos of her having sex with him. While Cedric said that it drove him crazy he didn’t try to get rid of the OM right away and still watched the videos. I understand the reasons why he didn't but still didn’t like it that he didn't do anything and it didn't lose it while watching them.
I liked the heroine despite her faults and problems. While I hated that she married the OM again I understood why she did. However I didn’t like that she didn't look for other solutions to her dilemma before doing that. It should have been only done as a last resort.
The story had a few hot sexy times as well as a HEA ending with two epilogues that I liked. I read none of the other books in the series, which was fine because this is a standalone. However based on how much I liked this story I will be reading others in the series.

We have to say that we really enjoyed this entire series and its characters and one of our favorite MC Romance series. Cedric was one of those characters that made it so easy to fall in love with and we loved him from the moment that we met him.
Cedric was a loving and caring soul who was kind and compassionate and so easy going and a man who once he gave his heart to another would do everything and anything he had to do to get the love of his life back in his arms once again.
Evelyn was one of those characters that I needed to warm up to and I am not even sure I really liked her at all.Evelyn was one of those characters I just felt was undeserving of a friend like Cedric as well as his love for her.Once meeting Evelyn we new right of the bat she would break hearts and at first she she seemed to be and bit snooty and then a reckless girl who had a thing for bad boys and picked one worst then the next. I realize some of Evelyn behavior stemmed from what was going on in her family and the challenges she faced but, it seemed that she continues to make one bad choice after another and once those choices were made and she couldn't handle them she just wanted to check out from life itself only doing the bare minimum.On a positive note we loved the fact that she went to great lengths on her mothers behalf.
This story was an emotional one especially for Evelyn and Cedric as well.Cedric is what really made me enjoy the story the most he was just a sweetheart and every move he made and the choices he made were with Evelyn and her mother always in mind and he was willing to see that both of them were taking care of and went to great lengths to see it so and that's why I think this is why Evelyn just kept rubbing me the wrong way and why I never grew fond of her because Cedric always put her first and when the first opportunity she had she betrayed his trust and that of his brother and his club when in truth they were her only saving grace.Though-out the story I had question the actions of the mother wondering did she ever look to the welfare of her only child and what those choices were costing her ?
When reading a story like this it is hard to remember that this story is fictional one and we love a good story about self sacrifice and love and the lengths one is willing to go for a loved one and I think that I would have really loved Evelyn had we saw her do just that but, she started out so early seeing her reckless behavior and bad choices making me realize are those choices and sacrifices she is willing to make really just about her mother or just and excuse to keep self sabotaging herself ? Cedric's choices were all about love and every King needs his Queen and we loved being on his journey that was wrought with tons of obstacles and a bit of pain and a whole lot of determination as it made for an interesting story that overall had a cast of interesting and love-able characters as those Kings are so easy to love each and every one of them and the women who have chosen them.

I'm so sad to see this series come to an end but it couldn't have ended with a better couple! I was never a fan of MC books but after this series I'm definitely a fan. Cedric and Evelyn's story was about young love, second chances and fighting for what you want. This story was filled with some jaw-dropping twists that had me holding my breath for what was to come and absolutely delivered with so many feels! If you love a great MC read this series is one I highly recommend!

Cedric and Evelyn’s story was amazing. Best friends who loved each other but never made the move to be something more until they did, but it was too late. Ev made a choice that will change her life and everyone’s around her and they will never be the same again. Cedric loves her and will do anything to get her back, even join the Savage King’s and work his way up the reigns. Ev has given herself to Lowell and he’s the worst of the worst. Trapped to help someone she loves in a relationship she hates and yearns for the love of her life. Ev and Cedric have their ups and downs, darkness, addiction and many obstacles to find their way back to each other. This series has been unbelievable, sexy, steamy, suspenseful, loyalty, loving caring men with women they cherish and would do anything for. I can’t wait for the next series that’s coming soon. No spoilers here. Loved this book and I found it on BookSprout.

I LOVE EVERY BOOK IN THIS SERIES! Cedric is NOT TO BE MISSED! OH MY MY...… this book has been a breath of fresh air! it was so GOOD that well bring the tissue and get ready to throw your kindle because you will feel fire and heat and probably a bit of sweat because this book is just that GOOD! This whole series is BEYOND PHENOMENAL! I could NOT PUT IT DOWN and it will grab you and throw you into an amazing ride!

Oh this book!
Lane and D.B did an absolutely amazing job on this story.
The chemistry between Cedric and Ev is so real and easy to be drawn into.
This book is going to take you a journey. You will experience the feels, but at the same time the journey is SO worth it.
While I'm sad this is the final book in the series, it doesn't disappoint!
Everyone should read this book and series!

Why I liked this series coz each book was shorter than normal and you could delve into each story faster and continue with the story arc through each book ..... it’s sad to see it ending but I’m glad I got to see their stories played out till the end xx

Cedric
The last of the series. I liked all the others. This one wasnt quite the same for me. I couldnt connect with the main characters, especially Evelyn and at the end felt there were more questions than answers. It seemed to me to be a story with the MC in the background rather than a story set in a MC with the other characters a part of it. The villain of the piece was just that, a villain and there was no depth to him or Evelyn. Cedric was well written though.
It was well edited, I just think it could have been so much more.

I have to say I kind of didn’t want to read this book but not the way you would think. I knew this would be the last book in this series. So i knew if I read it it would finally be done and this series has been one of my favourite of all time. We fell in love with Chase, Torin, Abe, Sax, Gabe, Ian, Reese, Cooper, War, Maddox, Dalton and Miles.
Cedric story has to be the sweetest. He would be pissed if he said that though! But best friends since they were 10. Evelyn and Cedric story is tragic. And Cedric spends over two years to get her back into his life and out of her tragic one. Their story seems to be quick and easy but there is something lying in wait to mess with their HEA.

Cedric by Lane Hart and D.B. West a five-star read that will break you. This is number twelve in the Savage Kings MC series and I am gutted that it’s number twelve of twelve, but there is promise of what comes next so that made me happy. Cedric has always been the runt of the kings, the prospect who ran around the background and now its his time to shine, we get to find out why he became a King and what his life was about, why he had the drive to push through the hardship. His reason turns out to be a person, a little lady called Evelyn who became someone else’s old lady to help her mother survive, something the Kings would find honourable in other circumstances I am sure. This was a compelling story and I read it from cover to cover in one sitting, not even bothering to top my wine up as I was so engrossed in this amazing story.

It's been a while since I had a book from these two and from these series that I love so freaking much.
Their books hold a big piece of my heart and I always want more.
Lane Hart and DB West created this MC series that I really love... Love... And of course, being an MC... You know that I'm addicted to this genre.
Cedric is the from the Savage Kings MC and you must read the other books from this series first. Trust me... You'll love them.
This new book explores the lives of Cedric and Evelyn.
Cedric has a heart bigger than the world and 90% of it belongs to Evelyn. He loves her but he can't ruin their friendship telling her his true feelings.
The day the left his life he made a vow...
Evelyn has a horrible life since the day she decided to marry her husband to help her mom.

It was 12 books... 12...you hear me right. 12 books full of sassiness, drama, hot stuff, crime, punishment, loyalty, but first of all, and the more important thing, it was the theme each book approached.
We saw domestic violence, abuse, rape, substance abuse and violence in the general.
It was brutal the way these authors exploded each theme and make each and everyone aware of these things.

Patient, devoted and loving - not three words you would think would describe a member of the Savage Kings. Cedric has been in love with Evelyn since they were kids. Ever since she ran off to marry a bad boy biker to help take care of her mom, Cedric has been planning how to get her back into his life. Always working toward his goal of winning Ev back, Cedric is no longer the sweet, lanky boy that Evelyn left. He's become strong, learned to fight and built a solid relationship with the most badass biker club on the East Coast.
When it's time to make his move, Cedric realizes that Ev's life is so much worse than he thought. He has never forgotten the sweet young girl he met on the beach as a child, but the woman he reconnects with has lived through intimidation and abuse beyond what he could have imagined. He's not sure whether he will ever be able to reclaim the woman he loves. It will take all of his patience and strength to help her to see herself as he does - as a strong, intelligent and caring woman.

Five stars for the fully-formed characters in the story, the deep connection between Cedric and Ev, as well as the sensitive and thoughtful treatment of issues such as abuse. While there may be triggers for some readers in the story, the exploration of the struggle for recovery make for a worthwhile read.

Even after her situation improves she still has to fight inner demons that Cedric can’t save her from. She’s not perfect and she learns that it’s okay to be a little damaged. “Cedric” is a dark romance story of devotion and sacrifice. There is violence, emotional abuse, drug use, addiction, recovery, intimate encounters and a well earned HEA. An outstanding triumph over tragedy experience!

WOW!!! and WOW and again and again... This is one fine final story in this series of the MC Savage Kings. How I will regret not to be able to read more about them.... But - at the end of this story there was a line thrown out for saviour! There will be another MC series from these authors with an MC that we got to know a little about in this fantastic story. I would recommend reading the whole thing from the first story and until this one, the last about the Savage Kings. This novel - as well as the previous ones - is just simply fantastic. The ideas, the imagination, the descriptions, the characters, the whole story, just WOW again. And what I really really like about these authors as I am a real typo picker, rarely is there even a single one in their stories and I have by now read I think everything that Lane Hart has published starting with Jax, and in this story I didn´t find a single typo or other errors, they really know how to write correctly and their use of the language, whether it is during some rough scenes or romantic ones or really graphic +21 scenes, their usage of the language is just very very very good. So fantastic ten stars if they were available, but I only have five to give out... Just, well, to the authors, another fantastic story!!!! Thank you and I can´t wait for the next one!!!

Cedric met Evelyn when he was 10 yrs. old and from then on was smitten with her. All throughout their growing up he watched her flit from one guy to another. They just graduated and had plans to go off to college together.
One H Evelyn snuck into his bedroom and persuaded him to have sex with her. Not knowing that she was going to leave him to marry a stranger just so she could get the money she needed to help her mother.
For 2 yrs. Cedric has spied on Evelyn to keep an eye on her and make sure she is okay. In the meantime he prospected for the local MC so that when he was able he had more power when it was time to claim Evelyn.
Here is where it just didn't work for me. For 2 yrs Cedric stayed faithful to Evelyn, even though her husband sent videos to him all the time of them having sex. Then when he does finally let her know that he has been watching her, he doesn't realize that she has been hooked on drugs for the 2 yrs. He expects her to give them up and things be hunky dory in an instant. Then for her to finally be at almost a good place and she runs right back to her husband when he gets out of jail to score some more drugs.
The cherry on the cake was when she stabs him only to find out she has to save him because he is a matching donor for her mother who needs a kidney.

From that moment they were inseparable and became the best of friends. AS they both get older Cedric knows that he loves Evelyn but he doesn't want to lose her friendship so he watches on quietly as she dates. The just as Evelyn turns 18 she comes into his bedroom through his window and they both end up telling each other how they are feeling and sleep together. But Evelyn has made a deal with the devil and sold herself so her mother can get meds for her kidney failure.
Cedric does everything he can but at 18 he is too young to take on the outlaw biker that Evelyn has agreed to marry.

3.5 Stars. Let me first by saying I love this series and I love these authors. I have been following this series since the beginning and let me tell you what an adventure it has been. Cedric and Eveyln met at a young age and became best friends. As they graduate high school and was planning a future of going to college. Tragedy strikes and Eveyln makes a deal with the devil. She is then taken away from Cedric who had finally had the courage to tell her he loves her more than just a friend. He then decides to join the Savage Kings MC to get his girl back. After two years he finally becomes and member and sets his plan to get Evelyn back in motion. The love and loyalty from the MC make Cedric finally see what been part of Savage Kings MC is really about. This book is a kind of bittersweet feeling for me. This is the last book in the series. This is the end, or so I thought. I'm so excited about the next series from these authors. I can't wait.

I am a huge fan of MC Romances and was happy to discover this series by Lane Hart and D.B West. In this book we meet Cedric and Evelyn, childhood friends that are secretly in love with one another. At 18, Evelyn has led a difficult life dealing with her mother’s illness, desperate to help her she agrees to marry a biker who has the money to cover her medical expenses. Cedric is left alone and desperate when he realizes that his best friend and love of his life will no longer be his. Although he is young, he is determined to get her back and sets in motion a plan to do just that. Cedric is one hell of an incredible man. I loved his strength and dedication to Evelyn. Evelyn on the other hand was harder to like, there were things about her that rubbed me the wrong way and at times I wanted to smack her upside the head. Thanks to Cedric’s determination, they get their much deserved happily ever after. TBR and enjoy.

I did not realize that this would be the last book in the Savage Kings MC Book Series so in that respect I am very sad. However, this book just gave me happy feelings because I loved the characters of Cedric and Evelyn. He has been such a sweet man (oops, he hates being called that) since the moment he met Evelyn at the start of their great love story. When Cedric made the shell bracelet for Ev after just meeting her and add to the fact that from that moment off she never took it off was just the sweetest (oops, there it is again, sorry Cedric) thing I've read in a while. These two went through so much that I dare anyone to not root for them with every turn of the page! Thanks Lane Hart and D.B. West for ending this series with such a fantastic story. Now I can't wait until the next series so I can begin my love story with all the new characters your creative minds will create for all your dedicated readers.

When I first started to read Cedric I was there wondering where we were going with these 2 youngsters.
But how sweet the start of his & Evelyn's journey of meeting & becoming best friends, until her last night of the way it is for their last time at high school & how their lives change & go in a way they didn't expect especially after she opened up & told him this much, she was in love with him & she wanted to be the one to be his first. But she has to sell her soul to help keep her mother Rita alive.
And after that night & talking to Chief Jade about the best way to be able to get his own back on Lowell from Dirty Aces.
And it was her advice that got Cedric forward thinking of no matter what, he will be there to save & get Evelyn back, but it doesn't take as short of a time as he thought it would, but he's always keeping an eye on Rita & knows that Evelyn is still alive.

And it was her advice that got Cedric forward thinking of no matter what, he will be there to save & get Evelyn back, but it doesn't take as short of a time as he thought it would, but he's always keeping an eye on Rita & knows that Evelyn is still alive.

Cedric has loved Evelyn since they were 10 years old, they were best friends through high school but when her mothers health deteriorates she makes the awful decision to marry an outlaw because he has the money to help pay for the medical bills, she goes to Cedric one last time to say goodbye, the outlaw who is a very jealous and possessive man finds her and beats on Cedric. Cedric vows to get her back and it takes him two years to get on his feet and patch into the Savage Kings and get Evelyn back, but by then she has even more Demons to conquer.
This is the last book in the series and I for one am sad to see them go, I have loved every single one of those Kings, but I am looking forward to reading more MC from these two wonderful authors and hopefully we will get to see the Kings making a few cameos in the them in the future.
