Written by a Canadian who understands that bad luck makes great stories. August J. Esquire is a magnet for disasters and has had to come to terms with the fact that his best laid plans will always come undone like a ball of yarn in a room full of kittens.

👉This book has easily become one of my favorite reads of the year and a story I’ll never forget. It’s the kind of book you keep coming back to, just to relive the joy it brings. So, grab your copy, buckle up, and get ready for an unforgettable journey!
Just look at the title, why would I not pick it. Also, after reading the first book by the author I just couldn't stop myself from reading this one and I was in love with it too. I started this book in midnight and I just couldn't leave it, the language is like light it gets absorbed as soon as you read it. . . The author's writing is really addictive and his sense of humour is everything, there are so many fictional and non fictional stories out there but only a few authors can make you laugh and feel happy and crazy from within and this is truly one of those books that just will be like, Oh goshh!! Why didn't I think like that! . . The amount of involvement in terms of words and stories that's been provided by the author is surely worth appreciating. One of the best collections I have read in the year and probably a book that I will never forget. Yes, you can read it as a standalone but I genuinely recommend you to check both the books. Go for it. . Rating: 4.5🌟
Book 29/100: On the lam: Going Rogue by August J. Esquire!! I got sent a copy of this sequel to keep me busy during this quarantine, call it my quarantainement if you wil, courtesy of @augustj.esquire . Full of great travel stories once more, the writing superb to the point of making me laugh out loud many times, and always being optimistic in the face of bad luck. The Japan story tugged at my heartstrings as well, and I'm glad all was well that ended well. If you feel like this social distancing and self-isolation is getting the best of you, make sure to grab yourself a copy of On the lam (both books), you'll feel like you just travelled the world from the comfort of your own home! Thank you August for these wonderful adventures once more! Please keep writing and sharing these adventures!
