Winter is cold.
We bundle up and catch snowflakes on our tongues.
This little book goes through the four seasons - highlighting a fun activity or feature of each.

It's designed to be educational for toddlers - it explains how spring time is warm, summer is hot and autumn lets all the little animals prepare for winter.

As always, I adored this short-and-sweet addition to the indestructible series.

The storyline is obviously incredibly limited but it definitely feels like each word was chosen with care.

The illustrations were absolutely perfect - and I loved the color choice.

As always a fun aspect of the book is its indestructible nature - washable, tear proof and chewable - what more can a toddler ask for?

A huge thank you to Workman Publishing for sending a free copy in exchange for an honest review!

ALL YEAR ROUND: A BOOK OF SEASONS is a delightfully simple book that presents the seasons. Targeted towards infants and young toddlers, each page spread features a season along with activities enjoyed during that season. The pages are full of color and fun details with brief text that is ideal for the youngest readers.

What I loved: I really adore all the fun colors and illustrations, featuring a multiracial family. It is also really neat that the baby grows up to a one year old during the year, presenting a great portrait of baby's own experience. The seasons are presented simply but with lush illustrations that capture each perfectly. The animals and other details in each scene make it fun just to look through- perfect for babies to examine on their own.

The indestructibles line of books are particularly great for babies, as they are made to be chewed on and held by babies. The size is great, and they are very lightweight. It's also nice to have something babies can pull and teethe on without worrying about it falling apart. They are a cross between book and toy that are loads of fun for young readers.

Final verdict: With bright colors, fun illustrations, and sweet text, ALL YEAR ROUND is a great pick for babies and young toddlers. Highly recommend for young ones who are teething and beginning to explore the world around them.

Please note that I received a review copy from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

If I have to read this book 20 times to my daycare kids, I am 100% tracking it. 😂

Very brief. Love the Indestructibles form factor. There isn’t much real estate, but there is a simple description of each season. The best part is the story happening in the illustrations where you see a little baby go from newborn to sitting, to crawling, to standing over the year. So precious!
