Adrian Clarke quickly discovered there were drawbacks to playing the hero from the bestselling romance trilogy of all time. It was difficult to have any privacy when everyone knew who you were.

Casey Smythe knew nothing about Hollywood heartthrobs or celebrity gossip. The beautiful college student had plenty of other things to keep her busy, including the dogs she was paid to play with in the park.

Little did she know, the handsome man she tried to get fired after he swore at one of her favorite dogs wasn’t a dog walker at all. He was Hollywood’s newest sensation and Duke’s owner.

And now his sights were set on the one woman who couldn’t care less about his fame.

3.5 stars-- This surprised me, because I'm usually only so/so on an actor with normal person trope in a romance, but this one really won me over for some reason. I think it boiled down to really enjoying both of the main characters

Casey works hard, part time jobs, while attending college she's out from under her mother and sisters sights and she loves it. It may be a struggle at times but she wouldn't change a thing. One of her part time jobs is walking dogs. She gets to love on them and enjoys the time she has with the, She'd love one of her own but at this stage in her life that's not going to happen. So she has the best of both worlds.

When she spots Duke a cute french bulldog that's a client of hers at the dog park she doesn't hesitate to go over to say hello. What she didn't expect was the man with Duke. Who is kind of a douche bag in that first meeting.

When Adrian spots the cute girl approach him and Duke he's on instant alert, thinking she's a fan he's about to shoot her down when she totally ignores him and loves on his dog.

A case of I don't have a clue who you are has Adrian smitten. He's an up and coming star and his movies have seen him plastered everywhere. When he really does realise that Casey has no clue who he is he can't help but want to get to know this woman.

It's an overload of sweet goodness with one sexy leading man and the college student. He wants forever now he just needs to convince her!

Rochelle and Ella are a dream team together. I love this series.

5 Stars!

The brilliant Rochelle Paige and Ella Fox are back with the third standalone in the sweet, sexy, swoony Under the Lights series and holy smoked, this couple and their journey were... everything! Adrian was a fast-paced romance that told one unforgettable, unputdownable story that'll hit you right in the heart in all the best ways (plus dog lovers will looooove third one!!). Adrian and Casey were a breath of fresh air and I couldn't get enough.

If you are a fan of safe and swoony books packed with heat, heart, and all the best insta-love then this duo and this fantastic series is a must read.

I highly recommend this book.

First of all the narrators were okay nothing to draw dropping or panty wets lol.

Onto the story it was veryyyy insta-ish but i enjoyed their first meeting.

Adrian is a hugeeee star he a hot throb and he is over the fame since a crazy stalker fan broke into his house so now he's moved into a gated community with his dog Duke. Both he and Duke head to the dog park where he meets Casey who calls out to duke, thinking she's another obsessed fan he acts rude which has casey showing her claws thinking Adrian is a new dog walker who is a asshole. This surprises Adrian since she had no clue who he is or his name its something fresh and new. He tries to sort things out and explain he is Dukes owner. Casey is alittle embarrassed that she called him a douche lol but she's attracted to him. And their relationship picks up pretty much after that.

There is drama from paps, the stalker and Adrian setting straight few family members who tried to talk down to Casey.

Adrian Clarke just moved to a community where his privacy can be protected and he can freely walk around with his dog. Casey Smythe is a dog walker, well she is many things as she puts herself through college but dog walking is one of her favorite side jobs. When she sees Adrian with one of her favorite dogs she thinks he is the new walker and has zero clue he is the hottest actors in the world right now. Adrian is thrilled to meet someone who is not after him for fame, fortunate or how they can get ahead and he becomes quite smitten with Casey. Can he convince her he is worth taken a risk for?

This was fun. I liked that Adrian and Casey are opposites and yet they are perfect for one another. I liked that Adrian wants normalcy, he wants to chase his dream as well but he just wants to be treated the same as everyone else. Fun quickie.

Adrian was such a sweet, light, insta-attraction romance between a celebrity and a regular person. I loved how down to earth both main characters were and how there was no ow drama or angst. It was a lovely, short palette cleanser.

Dog walking gives Casey the best of both worlds as she gets to spend time with the animals she loves, and it is a great part-time job while she finishes college. When she sees a dog, she recognizes at the park she approaches him to give him some attention and isn’t impressed by the man who is walking him.

Adrian is a successful actor who only wanted to take his dog for a walk. He has become familiar with the not so great aspects of being a celebrity and even though he is attracted to her he thinks Casey is just another woman that is impressed by his fame.

He is intrigued by the beautiful woman who not only doesn’t know who he is and isn’t trying to impress him. He wants her in his life but is she prepared for what that means?

Sweet and sexy they had some obstacles along the way, but Adrian was determined that they belonged together.

Adored these two. Their first meeting was hilarious. He thinks she’s a crazy fan, and she thinks he’s a terrible dog walker that is not being his best to one of her favorite dogs. She even goes so far as to trying to get him in trouble with who she thought was his boss...seriously, I laughed so hard. Casey was adorable, loved the kind of person she was, sweet, thoughtful, dog lover, smart, and not going to let the hot mean guy get by with anything. Loved it. Obviously, he was quite taken with her, and asked her out after they worked out their misunderstanding.

Safe read. An adorably sweet virgin dog walker and a dirty talking smitten alpha. Baby batter, an epilogue and a sweet hea.

Adrian is book 3 in the Love Under The Lights novella series by Ella Fox & Rochelle Paige. This can be read as a standalone in this series. This is Casey and Adrian's story.
This is a deliciously sweet, funny, and swoon-worthy read. What you get is insta-love, low angst, sexy sweet read; What you have is a Hollywood hunk, a college cutie with hot chemistry. Also get glimpses from previous characters in this novella. Loved the plot, the characters, the feels and steam. Adds up to a fantastic novella.

Decafe Review: Adrian: Love under the lights by Rochelle Paige

Adrian Clarke: An upcoming movie super star, still trying to be a normal guy and manage his fame. He is struggling with how to maintain his privacy. He wants real connections and not just star seekers. Because of a Stalker who broke into his home he is very weary of anyone outside his small circle.
Casey Smythe: She is anti-hollywood due to her celebrity obsessed Mother and Sister. She is super focused on her studies of Neuroscience. Because of her Mother and Sister’s controlling nature she has removed herself from her family. She works several jobs to make ends meet. She values her independence and freedom above all else.

A chance meeting between the 2 over Adrian’s sweet puppy Duke, leaves Adrian completely effected by Casey. He feels an instant connection with her. I loved the funny interactions between these two. There is story is so sweet and funny. I totally wanted to throat punch Casey’s Mother and Sister. You realize what a caring loving man Adrian is. But I wanted and needed more. I wanted more interaction between them. Casey seems completely clueless to Adrian’s need to take care of her and his manipulations of her. None of which are bad, but I think for her being smart enough to earn a PHD she might have caught on to him. I wish she had stood up to her mother and sister more, or introduced more of her Father, maybe him standing up for her. I loved that ended with a clear HEA.
I read this as a standalone novel, I had not read the two previous in the series. It was a quick and easy read. I read it in just a couple of hours. It is a very well written story, as a reader I liked it so much I wanted more from the characters. This is a 3.75 /5 star read for me, just because I wanted more.

Adrian was an absolutely phenomenal, spicy, and consuming novella that I absolutely loved. I have loved devouring the series because I just love the world of Hollywood, I love how these characters are so drawn to one another, and I love how meant to be they all feel. From the moment they meet each other, they know they have found there one and I have just absolutely loved getting to be with these characters as they fell for one another.

This book with Adrian and Casey was no different.

Their story was spicy, it was quick, it was phenomenally written and crafted, and it just hooked me from the start. I loved how they got off on the wrong foot, I loved how they soon found they had a connection that just would not quit. I loved that they felt so right for each other. I loved that they weren’t afraid to just feel it all. I loved every single part of their story and I loved getting to watch the two of them fall for one another. It was full of fire and connection and so much heart in the best way.

This story was incredible to read and it was just another phenomenal addition to the series. I hope these authors plan to write more together because I love these books. There an easy love story that just take a hold of your heart and will show you what a good romance story is all about. I truly loved every single thing about this story and I can’t wait for more! This series has been so fun to read and so romantic and just highly enjoyable. If you want solid romances that will make you swoon and melt and just feel the fire and connection between these characters, run yourself to this book and this is this very second second!!

I received a complimentary ARC - early release copy of this book in Kindle format from the author for review purposes.

Adrian is book 3 in this novella series and its as great as Gage and Vaughn. This story easily stands alone as we only really meet Adrian in this story. He is a new neighbor to Gage and knows both Gage and Vaughn and their women. At the start of this story, he has moved into a new mores secure home because of issues with a stalker.

He is a hot actor that pretty much everyone knows so when he takes his dog. Duke to the dog park he meets,

Casey who does not recognize him and instead thinks he is dogwalker and a bad one. I loved their first meet, it was adorable and I loved how when A meets her, he works hard to convince her to date him.

This was a sweet romance but a lot of fun as well. Its a very much Cinderella retelling with and evil mother and evil sister, named Cindy but a wonderful dad. Casey has never really fit in with her family as they are a bit star crazy. She is very smart and a hard worker and very honest and Adrian cannot resist her.

I really loved this story and cannot wait for the next one, abut A's agent.

3.5 Stars!

The Love Under the Lights series has been a favourite of mine for a while and this was such a sweet insta-love novella. Adrian is an actor who has shot to fame after being the hero in a new trilogy and Casey is a hardworking student struggling to make ends meet.

Adrian and Casey meet at the park whilst Adrian is walking his dog, Duke. After a case of mistaken identity, Adrian can't hide his attraction to Casey and asks her to come with him to the opening of a restaurant that evening. Their relationship progresses quickly, and in some ways too quickly because Casey is thrown into the spotlight. Will Casey be able to handle Adrian's fame?

I did enjoy this quick, sweet read. I would've liked a bit more character development, but I understand in a novella that's difficult due to time. Adrian and Casey's relationship is definitely a case of insta-love, making it a great short addition to the series. It was nice to see the other couples from book 1 and 2 too. Can't wait for the next book in the series!

Adrian is a movie star and is adjusting to life in the spotlight. He recently had to move because of a stalker. He wasn’t looking for love when he took his dog Duke out to the dog park. When this beautiful woman approaches his dog and knows him red flags go up. He treats her unkindly and in turn Casey puts him in his place. She is a student who is barely making ends meet but enjoys her life. Her mother and sister treat her unkindly. When she meets Adrian in the dog park sparks fly. When he is rude to her she tries to get him fired. I guess you can see where this is going so, I’ll stop here before I give the book away.

This book isn’t long and is a story of instalove which hey is cool. It’s a nice little read in between the heavy reads. If you love sexy leading men and the women and Duke that bring them to their knees then this is your book!

This was a nice ending to the trilogy. Eventhough it was the shortest of the bunch, it was the one I enjoyed the most.
The story about Adrian and Casey had much of what I was missing in the previous books.

While reading about Gage/Morgan and Vaughn/Allie I was continuously bothered by the lack of background story for each of the characters. There were several chances to flesh out the characters personality, which made me disappointed when I didn't see any of it explored.

I continuously felt distant to the characters, mainly because I felt that the progression of the story was to fast to really dig deep.

While the pace of Adrian and Casey's story suited the length of the book, the fluff and hardship ratio was balanced, the same couldn't be said about the two previous books. There I found the fluff was overwhelming to the point that the hardships wasn't enough to ground the story. But I also found that the fluff could have been explored more deeply to really see the couples fall in love.

To sum it up, I enjoyed this series but would have greatly appreciated if there were more than the romance to give life to the characters and plot.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, pain, twists & turns, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Gage (Love Under the Lights #1)
Vaughn (Love Under the Lights #2)

This is Casey and Adrian’s story. He is famous and she has no idea who he is. She is walking dogs when he does something that has her angry. She tries to get him fired but little does she know he’s the boss. He is also very famous, and she could care less about that. He wants her but he must figure out how to get her. She doesn’t care about his money and fame only about his dog. Now he must figure out how to win her over after pissing her off.

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

I recieved an early copy of this and volunteered to leave an unbiased review so thanks to the authors and their team for the ARC.

This was a really quick, cute, trope heavy (not a bad thing AT ALL) story. It is the third in a series, but this can totally be read as a standalone because I haven't read the other's in this series, and I didn't feel like I missed anything.

This was really adorable. The characters meet and connect over a little French bulldog. (And there are lil frenchies on the chapter headers)

I really enjoyed Adrian as a character. He was alpha but not OTT, which I've totally read a lot of lately. Casey was really innocent but it wasn't too much.

I need a lot more of both these authors.

It never fails! The Love Under The Lights Series keeps getting Better and BETTER! Ella Fox and Rochelle Paige are great at co-writing together. It's like they share the same pen when putting words on paper. They sure brought the swoon factor to us ladies when meeting Adrian.
He is sexy and a true gentleman. You are going to wish you had a guy in your life as passionate and just as lovable!
Casey who is his love interest was a cute girl. She did not follow celebrity news or gossip and fell in love with Adrian as a man and not his fame. This made for a great book! I don't want to give nothing really away, but know it is a short read and has my 5 stars rating!

🎧 Read Me Romance 🎧

3.5 ⭐️’s

Low drama and low angst with a mistaken occupation meet-cute, Adrian and Casey’s story was easily enjoyed.
For what it’s worth, for me it had a kinda modern-era Cinderella vibe, but it wasn’t in an obvi-in-your-face way.
I liked both main characters, finding them each relatable and their attraction - while insta-ish - believable.

**Narration was ok, not one of my faves - by these narrators or as these characters(?) 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t know, but I do know I’m a fickle bitch with audiobooks 🤦🏻‍♀️, so decide for yourselves. **

I just love this writing duo. Their stories are just feel-good with no angst or drama among the main characters that I’m able to get away and just enjoy the story. Adrian meets his match in Casey and I love how he wastes no time in trying to make her his. They have this undeniable connection even if their first meet is not under the right circumstances. They’re cute together and the passion and support they share is electric. We also get to see the previous characters in the series as well maybe get a glimpse into the next book? I can't wait for the next one.
