About the author

Kenneth Gruenholtz is an artist living and working in New York City. He holds a master’s degree in digital photography from the School of Visual Arts. His work has been exhibited in New York, London, Berlin, Paris and Barcelona. His first book of environmental portraits, UNCENSORED: My year behind the scenes with Michael Lucas and his models, will be published by Salzberger & Co. in July 2020.

A candid, sensuous, erotic, and also just plain fun collection of artistically captured erotic nude photography!

I follow the photographer on Twitter where he posts daily photos, and I just want to point out that it's awesome how interactive he is on there! He actually talks to you, responses to you, and thanks you for any support which not a whole lot of artists do. I know they work hard at all they do, but as a customer, it's still nice to know they notice your support and thank you in return for it!

Back in June he held a contest for a randomly selected individual to win a copy of this coffee table sized book, and I was surprisingly the one selected! I usually never win any sort of contest, so with how much of a bummer 2020 has been, I considered this a small victory.

Going through the book, you are immediately encapsulated with beautiful men in gorgeous locations all over the world, and some may recognize a few faces within the pages depending how actively you follow the Gay Adult Entertainment Industry, but you see them and the other models in fresh feeling, natural, behind the scenes images that show so much more personality than the usual posed models looking straight at the camera. You see these men in their natural habitat, and it just feels so genuine to see them enjoying themselves (and each other in some pictures)!

Gruenholtz has a great eye for male beauty in his work, and is able to grab your attention with the images he selected to be showcased in this book. It is a bit racy (as if the cover didn't give that away at all), so I say only look into it if the subject matter personally interests, but if it does, you won't be disappointed! This book is a definite recommendation from me for anyone looking to add to their personal art book collection!

You haven't heard about NYC photographer Gruenholtz yet? This book is a great opportunity. This beautiful book with fine art black and white photos is full of sensuality, masculinity and eroticism. You will find of course full naked photos but also models full dressed as the photos were only behind the scenes. Even if you're not a big fan of Michael Lucas, you will certainly find your kind of man in his gorgeous models from Lucas Entertainment.

Kenneth Gruenholtz also gives you some details and anecdotes about the models, his works and photo shoots.
