After pissing off the head of the supernatural lab, failing at befriending my fellow inmates, and pitching a temper tantrum in the underground cafeteria, it was only a matter of time before I had to do something about this whole captivity thing.
For me, Cassandra Thorn, being born as a human, raised by an elite group of supernaturals, and struggling to reach my twentieth birthday was far more fun than this.
Then again, anything would be.
In this case, "this" refers to being taken against my will—kidnapped—and trapped in an underground lab for supernatural shifters. Pretty ridiculous, considering I was a mere mortal.
Or so I was told.
Turns out there are a lot of things I was told, not all of them true. Now a family secret has been revealed and destiny is just waiting for me to fulfill it…but I was stuck in Prison Boringville with a bunch of not-so-friendly detainees.
Being a supernatural inmate isn’t my style, so with the very new powers bestowed upon me, I was getting my booty out of this hellhole. Unless Adonis the sexy incubus, Dominick the deadly fae master, Otis the death-seeking vampire, and Tristan the sly shapeshifter bust me out first.
Supernatural Inmate is the first book in the Supernatural Captivity series, a Paranormal Prison Romance.
DNF MC is too stupid to live, spoiled, and has a death wish.
Acting like the people who kidnapped you, took you to a dungeon, and performed tests on you are going to serve you like a princess is beyond stupid. Also I don't think she can actually do anything for herself without some kind of involvement from the other love interests. Any iota of danger is removed and controlled by them sooo what's the point really.
1 Asinine 🤦🏻♀️ Star. The h was entitled, shallow, & TSTL. The writing was subpar. The story had a messy plot line & filled with unnecessary minutia. This story feels like the author never left the discovery phase of writing & an early draft was published. This is trypical of Yumoyori Wilson/Avery Song (2pen ñames same author). I have no one but myself to blame. I was tempted by the blurb & the cover art, overlooking the fact that this author is usually a dud. It’s a personal preference. Great cover art.
——————————————————————
Note to self: You dislike this author’s writing style. Do not get suckered in by excellent cover art & an interesting blurb. The author falls short of expectations continuously. I prefer multifaceted characters & series with a tight plot line & clear narrative arc. She writes overly simplistic FMC & a cast of cardboard characters. Stay away even if it’s free. NO Jeanny NO. Her writings always feel superficial & juvenile.
This book would be the definition of coming out more confused than when I went in with things happening left, right and centre but none of it counts for the substantial material you would expect in a story to make sense.
The opening scene itself confused the fuck out of me, the female lead is trying on panties with her brothers on the said shopping trip reviewing or whatever. Excuse me? I was like am I reading this right? These are her brothers(not by blood okay but still she thinks of them as brothers) and that weird ass scene is taking place. Why not just make them friends and leave it at that instead of creating this awkwardness where she keeps calling them bros but there is lovey-dovey feels under that brozone.
The prison thing was just a mess, there is absolutely no flow through any scenes. The world building is so lacking, shit is making no sense for a first book in a series. Prison has different levels that give different levels of privileges to the point where level four can just fuck off wherever they want, what kind of captivity was the story trying to establish? Not to forget the passing mention of prison hotels on the island or pointless bidding thing, dude what? This all is sprinkled as info dumps instead of readers actually exploring the prison and nothing is tying together in a cohesive manner from the jumbled mess. I think we only see the cafeteria, brief mining and the fourth level rushed scene for the sake of climax.
The characters are typically flat. Cassandra is one of those brash bold types you know those heroines that come across more stupid and bratty instead of whatever the authors intended? Yeah she is that unlikeable one. The guys barely feel like characters, they just have typical abc traits of this genre and that's it. We skip on the whole relationship development between the characters because they know each other already so it's just from brozone to lovezone when they reunite in the prison.
The plot is so... absent. There is no activeness until the end scene. The constant oh-what-am-I and buried head in the sand behaviour is explained away as some magical binding but it can't be denied the very thing makes it irritating when you have nothing happening. The prison is barely put together, the romance is pre-established so no depth at all, the clueless supernatural inside Cassandra is only shown in the same glimpses till the climax dump. There was nothing in here to save it from being a mess.
Well..I guess a world with supernaturals and humans is cool...but the characters and plot sucked.
I mean, one of the major problems is that the heroine is a sarcastic, angry, whiney person- who also has that 'I'm not like other girls' attitude. It's meant to make her endearing in some way (I guess) but it's just overall annoying to read. She also refers to herself mentally as "Princess Cass" and has actually temper tantrums....😐 Cute right?
And the "love interests" are complete Gary Stu's who are all soOoOo dreamy, tall, hot, and billionaires. They are extremely powerful supers that have every one pretty much drooling at the simple sight of them.
But please don't forget that these "love interest" are in fact her step brothers that she has known since she was 5 and grew up with. Plus she also calls them her "bros".
I mean why is the idea of dating them even considered normal or an option?? If that isn't gross enough-in the first chapter she's parading around them in her underwear, and talking about her ass with them...its just to weird for me man.
"You'd get all the goodies for big companies to gossip about. Now turn around so I can see if these panties make your ass look great."
There is just to much stupid going on in this plot I only got to the part where she has to stay in the prison...(because reasons?) Honestly it doesn't make much sense and I was getting too annoyed to read on.
Supernatural Inmate is the beginning of a new series by Avery Song that is the first in her new Supernatural Captivity series and let me just say this - this book is REALLY good! I've been eagerly awaiting the first of many supernatural prison stories and this book is a must-read. Supernaturals are being kidnapped all around the world and disappearing. Cassandra Thorn, daughter to the famous Thorn pair, cast away as a child for being human, taken in by a bear shifter as a child and growing up with a family of other cast-off supernaturals is about to find herself in a world of trouble. Mrs. Widow, a snake-shifter, has come to inform Cass's "bros" about the kidnappings and the supernaturals who are being targeted. Since Cass is human, she's dismissed and told it doesn't concern her. So I guess it's just a nasty twist of luck when she learns the guys are joining an elite group and will be leaving her for a while. In a fit of anger, she jumps into the wrong car and gets herself abducted. But is there more to Cass that meets the eye? Well, whatever it is...it lands her in prison...and things only get more intense from there. This book is REALLY good! I devoured it and was left begging for more. I really need the next book in this series. Cass is an overall pretty good character. She's in her 20s (okay, she's 20), but she's an overall pretty cool chick. Honestly, my only problem with her is the whining and her mouth at times. I get not wanting to let people push you around, but sarcasm isn't necessarily needed every time you open your mouth. LOL! The whining was the worst. I'm sorry you can't say "I'm an adult" and then whine like a five-year-old not getting what you want the next. It was difficult for me to not roll my eyes at her and fail to take her seriously. LOL! If you're hoping for steamy...yes. You get it. Only one though, because the author throws in some miscommunication, ignoring the obvious signs and slow-burn to this book. Needless to say...I loved it. It creates a great build-up for the story and makes the wait worth it. The characters that we are introduced to in this book are truly fascinating and kept me page-turning, because I wanted more and more of them. The author knows how to pique readers interests with this book and pulls them along one word at a time. I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. Cass has her annoying moments, but thankfully they don't last long and the story is just so good. I can't wait for the next book and to learn what happens next. If you are a fan of this author grab this book and dive in! But make sure to clear your schedule! You won't want to put this book down! Trust me!
This is a hard book to review, mainly because in still struggling to figure out just what it is!! It’s labored a PNR RH, and while it is that, it seems to only claim that title in an obscure way. Honestly, it’s more of an urban fantasy with a romantic subtext - and there is not a dang thing wrong with that. There is love, and the relationships matter, but not so much in the score of the plot. The four guys she grew up with (not related) and secretly (not so secretly) Love, appear briefly in the beginning, then again much later in the book. You barely get a chance to know them, though the fifth one that pops up in the prison is intrigue worthy, though there seems to be some question about his orientation? I’m confused, but definitely curious, and I’ll be grabbing book 2 to see where this PNR/Not PNR goes.
Wow, Cass was a fun character. She grew up in a home with her “brothers” after her parents threw her away. The other guys has similar backgrounds and is taken in by their father figure- the protective shifter bear who raises them all. They are all really close. And when Cass is kidnapped and placed in a prison for supernaturals they do everything to find her. This world was different than i first thought. In this book the prisoners are able to use the prisons as a home and go travel to hotels and have luxuries. Cass have done nothing to land her in this prison. Ther was no crime, court, trial or sentencing.. She woke up there. She becomes friends with others and learn more about who she is and what she is supposed to do. I mixed up the other prison books from Avery Song after reading their blurbs but not now that I’ve read Supernatural inmate. A little spoiler... We meet some of the characters is the other series books in this one! I look fowl to may when the next book comes, I highly recommended:)
What can I say? Avery song did it again. This story is different and intriguing, we can grow up with Cass while she goes through what is needed to discover who she is and her destiny. The guys are yummy and I loved the fact they were raised together. But, we also get a mysterious guard that awakens the fire in her. Full of action, sexy times, adventure, intrigue, betrayal, love, brotherhood, friendship, power and surprises, this is one to look out for!
A Intriguing And Exciting Read!!😏😍🎉 (Read using Kindle Unlimited) Supernatural Inmate (Supernatural Captivity #1)
This is a fascinating world full of intrigue, betrayal & backstabbing supernaturals & humans. They're out for power & money in any way they can get it, even if it means kidnapping & murder!!😱 They make a mistake by targeting a human girl that's been brought up in an adoptive family of powerful supernaturals! 😡😢
Cassandra has always tried to hold her own within her transplanted family and surroundings. Her four bro's, a Master Fae a Shapeshifter and twins that are a Vampire & an Incubus, are all extremely powerful individually but together are virtually unstoppable. They're also gorgeous, unbelievably rich & famous. Their adoptive Dad is equally rich & powerful too, he's a well known & respected Bear Shifter!!🐻 So when Cassandra is kidnapped it doesn't go unnoticed by the press or public & there is an outcry!!🙏💖 This puts a lot of pressure on the authorities to finally start to deal with these mass disappearances & suspected kidnappings but also on the people behind it all!😲💥
I thoroughly enjoyed this book & look forward to the next one. The true reasons behind Case's fate is so sad & awful.💔😢 The Hag is going to roast, I hope!🙏😃😡 Its also kind of beautiful once she faces her truth & totally bad@ss.💥✨🌹 This is a reverse harem that starts out with her unofficial bro's becoming the true loved of her life (it's not creepy 👍😂) but I think a 5th is going to be added at least!!🔥💘🔥 Roll on Book #2 when she's an Outlaw!🎉🌟
This was definitely a book I continued to read for shits and giggles. Quite honestly, it’s the truth. When I read the blurb, I was hooked, the concept intrigued me, and I wanted to see what it was all about. Safe to say a few pages in and I was regretting my choice. So, what did I do?? I continued to read it cause why the hell not? Cue the regret and insanity. It was like the author wanted to scream in my face that the guys were rich and gorgeous, very RICH and very GORGEOUS and HOT. Like I got it the first time, don’t need to keep on mentioning it. Though later when Cassandra is stuck in prison apparently the guys are not rich enough to keep her safe from another bidder. That is a whole other thing. The whole bros situation didn’t really creep me out or anything it was ‘meh..’ but when it was still used after it was clear that they were now lovers, that’s when it became irritating. The author definitely likes to info dump a lot through out the book though, occasionally making other characters seem inadequate to figure things out themselves. Maybe she wanted to make the plot go faster by dumping all the info we needed but it just made the book less enjoyable and more annoying. Especially all the scene with Doc, most of the info dumping happened there. Fast forward to when she’s in prison and the guys arrive cause everything before that is not important or significant to mention. Basically, short summary, she gets kidnapped, survives events that are ‘impossible’ for a ‘mere human’ to survive. Ends up in prison, meets hot guard Omarion who is noteworthy as well as Alisha and Ivy. Also gets into a fight which she should have died in but didn’t. You get the point. She survives shit she shouldn’t have but appears to be human. Must be special and all that. Anyways, guys arrive and Dominick comments saying ‘At least you still have your sanity’….. Yes Dominick, Cass does still have her sanity, but me… ME. I’ve lost my sanity Dominick. ME. I lost it while reading and trying to understand this book. ME not Cass. ME. I started feeling high from laughter and music. SEE. Clearly lost it. And also, during this reunion session, Otis asks Cassandra for forgiveness, all I got to say is I don’t forgive you Otis, it's cause of you I had to endure reading her time in prison being miserable and lonely without you guys. And Adonis mentions that Dominick caused a few earthquakes, tsunamis, and other natural disasters. Thus, If you ever see me screaming at the top of my lungs, ‘DOMINICK CAUSED IT’ at the time of a natural disaster, you know why. Don’t ask any questions on how I know, just accept it, and move on.
“I respect you, Cassandra, and that level of loyalty is enough to make my throbbing cock shrivel with patience.”
…shrivel.. a shrivelled cock!!? Forget about the rest of the sentence, lets just zoom into that specific word. We get a kinda confusing but totally still hot bi scene from Tristin and Tristina. We get a beautifully descriptive and blinding hot scene from Daddy Dominick. But we get a shrivelled cock from Adonis the supposed incubus?? The fuck. And Cassandra thinks it’s romantic. But the end of the chapter does wrap it up pretty nicely with bow on top so we’re good. Not as epic as Daddy Dominick he’s still the best. But damn the chapter with Otis is a close second. It was so emotionally sweet and heart-wrenching, I was tearing up a little. Don’t know if I forgive him though. Maybe.
"I'd be the biggest overdramatic goddess this earth ever experienced."
We stand for dramatic goddess. Cassandra is already naïve, weak, fierce, kickass, annoying, irritating, and many other words that I’ve forgotten, so why the hell not make her dramatic as well. This book ain’t gonna get anymore crappier than it already is. Wait, shouldn’t have said that, we could jinx it. Oh well, too late now. Another fight scene where Cassandra should have died but somehow survived but she shouldn’t have because she is but a mere human but maybe she is something more, maybe but we don’t know that for sure. And a lot of other but’s I don’t have the time or energy to mention. Widow is your typical evil character. Throughout the book she is shown as a vial, untrustworthy person and is also a snake shifter who are known to be two-faced. Towards the end of the book there is a more heavier emphasis that Widow is EVIL, SHE is the reason Cassandra is in prison, SHE is the reason her powers were blocked, SHE IS EVIL. That is a crucial detail, do not forget it. There is a moment after Cassandra has Awakened her powers where she asks the faery thing, “I assume this block is the reason I doubted myself so often.” No, THAT my dear Cassandra is called insecurity. It’s a thing people have. Though thinking about it maybe supernatural’s are not insecure and it’s just us humans. This book essentially had so much potential, there were parts in chapters where the writing was so beautiful and perfect, flowing easily and lyrically. Truly, there were times I read a page and had to just sit back and marvel over how nicely the sentences were structured. If only the rest of the book was written this way. But it wasn’t so… Anyways I did still rate it 5 stars. Why? Because I’ve lost the part of my brain where logical thinking is used. It just vanished while I was reading this book. Besides I did have a fun time reading it, maybe that’s because I was reading this book at midnight while listening to music blaring from my earphones and was delirious to what was going on or maybe because half of the time I was reading sentences and laughing my head off at the choice of words used (psst shrivelled cock) no one will know. Perhaps Doc will since he has answers to all questions, he is Doc. of all knowing. But I can't be bothered asking him, so we WILL truly never know. Unless you decide to endure a visit to him and ask him yourself. Oh and we find out that Cassandra is a Dragon Fae. And a Princess. Princess Cassandra Cyldrirth. Omarion is her mate. They share a passionate kiss though he is still stuck in prison, however the guys and Cass have gotten out. Don’t worry she’ll go back to save him, Alisha, Ivy and Celeste later. Yeah I know I didn’t really mention them but can’t now, this review is way too long.

So I got half way and I just couldn’t read anymore. So I know I’m not a fan of Yumori’s (avery’s) writing but I was hoping since this was a co write it would be a bit more polished. Unfortunately not the case. This book just reads like bad fanfic. I’ve read random stories on wattpad that were more coherent than this.
I just wish the authors would take more time and really polish these stories before publishing them, because I do think at their core most of Ms. Wilson’s works have an interesting plot. And for goodness sakes maybe find something else to say aside from ‘bro’s’, it’s used over 25 times in the first 100 pages alone.
*edit So after discussing this author with my husband and having him read some snippets I’ve finally figured out what always bothers me, there’s no scene building or description. If each book you read starts out on a blank piece of paper that fills in as you read full of scenery and disruptors for me Wilson’s are usually just not well described characters standing awkwardly around saying lines to each other. Every now and again I get a scene setup but it’s mostly just blank walls and amorphous blobs.
I absolutely ADORED every single frigging moment of this read! My only complaint is I now have to wait to see what happens next until book two comes out 😁. Avery Song is a sheer genius with words and world building. She must have some serious muses!!!! Cassandra is one fierce little human firecracker raised in a family with four supernatural brothers. Or at least four gorgeous supernatural hotties she was raised with but not formally adopted. Four of the most well known and famous supernatural around I might add. Imagine her shock when in a fit of rage upon learning something, she fled the nightclub and it was her human self that gets kidnapped! What the heck is going on? She vaguely awakens to an argument about whether she's actually human or not. Events happen (not spoiling) and the next place she ends up is a supernatural prison. However it seems others are also unsure if she's actually human. Determined to find out what the bleep is actually going on, and get back to those she loves she's going to do her best to survive captivity. Along the way making VERY interesting friends. Suffice to say that Cass is A LOT more than she seems, even within her own doubts. There's oh so much in this book. Hysterical conversations, hot guys, badass supernaturals that somehow become friendlies, and mysteries to unlock. Who would think this little one would be at the center of it all? The one who put this all in motion has underestimated her, and I can't wait for that confrontation! Be warned, this does end with a cliffhanger....so just prepare yourself going on because it's oh so worth it!!!!!!
I was a little confused at the beginning, but after a couple of chapters I got into the groove and came to enjoy Cassandra as a character. Her ‘adopted’ brothers however are a whole different story. They frustrated me and seriously, I just wanted to give them a swift kick in the family jewels. Then there was Omarion, who I rather liked, as well as Cass’s inmate buddies, Alisha, Ivy and perhaps Celeste. We also have a winner winner chicken dinner candidate for twisted villain and nemesis, so... yah?
Anyway, loved how it ended and I definitely need to know what happens next.
I really can’t stress how much I enjoyed this book! The first book of a new series and it completely blew my expectations out of the door!
When we are first introduced to Cassandra Thorn, it is to find her lingerie shopping with her supernatural “bros”. It was such a hilarious shopping expedition that I knew right then that this book was going to be hard to put down!
As we learn more about Cass and her relationships with the men in her life, we realize how deeply her relationships have made her into the woman she is today! Even though others may see her as impossible and slightly spoiled, I found her courageous, empathetic and astonishingly honest.
Cass knows her strengths and weaknesses and she isn’t afraid to let her freak flag fly high! She keeps trying to fly under the radar, but circumstances and her inability to avoid confrontations spur her forward to recklessly confront people who are purposely trying to eliminate her.
As I laughed and cried, I truly hated to see this book end! I am excited to continue reading about Cass’s journey and can hardly wait to see what new adventures she has in store for us! This is truly one of the best books I’ve read this year!
So do yourself a favor and download this book now! You will be so happy that you did!
So boring and immature. Yes, she is over twenty but acts as a spoiled 9 years old. Sheis majorly crushing her "bros" but doing nothing, same as them, and just as she is imprisoned they appear and all bets are off, but some of them will not have sex with her since they want it to be on a real bed. Yeah, right. Months pass with nothing interesting to share with the reader but the things she occasionally eats are friking important! I will not continue reading.
This book was absolutely amazing.... Cassandra the FMC Has been raised with supernaturals And under the impression she's just a little weak human..oh man how wrong they are !!! This book has legit got me going cray Cray over the Prison RH books !! Can't wait for book 2 !!! I'm not trying to spoil any of the book for you but let me just tell you Cassandra's brothers Are literally my new book boyfriends every single 1 of them .....I lick them they are mine lmao
For a reverse-harem type of book, this is by far one of the better ones I've read. Cassandra is a spunky main that you can't help but love. She gets a lot of action in prison in more ways than one. Her personality is entertaining, and even though it was pretty expected, it was kinda fun to see what sort of trouble she got into.
It would have been better if more of the action sequences were described instead of just talked about. Most of the book, in fact, seems to be conversations about events rather than visualizations of the events themselves. Cass had to force herself awake in places to hear conversations going on around her. If she didn't, the reader would have had a hard time following the story.
However, when Cass took direct actions herself, (I would get into those but don't want to spoil it.) or had direct actions taken on her, we get the descriptions. Those parts are what made the book difficult to put down and an interesting read. If there is less talking in the next installment, I'd happily give it a 5 instead of the solid 4 star rating of this one.
What a fantastic start to a new series!!! Our female lead has grown up in an adopted household surrounded by four hot as well powerful supernatural brothers. Things get near when they say they are have to leave for a few months to do a job. She storms off only to land herself trapped and sent to a hidden prison. What follows is mind blowing! I couldn't put it down. I totally loved it so I give it 5/5 stars.
This is a freakin awesome read! The characters are amazing, and the storyline is fantastic and completely original. There is so much intrigue, detail and emotion packed into this story. This book had everything you could possibly want, shifters, Vampires, fae, dragons, and magic, a kidnapping, romance, steam, secret agents, and so freakin much more! I seriously can’t wait to read what happens next. I’m just sad I have to wait for the next book.
I am loving Paranormal Prison Romance. It is new to me. Growing up as a human , adopted sister to the most powerful supernaturals in the world ; Cassandra is kidnapped and imprisoned. She must escape or she will end up dead. There are twists and turns in her story. Then the cliffhanger . I will be watching for book 2.
Wow what an amazing story!!! Cass is a human orphan that was adopted by a man who is high up in the shifter chain. Everett is a bear shifter who has a lot of money and adopts orphan shifters. He found Cass and adopted her. He also adopted Tristan the shifter, Dominick the fae and twin brother's Otis the Vampire and Adonis the incubus. Growing up the five of them are the best of friends even though Cass is human and in their society looked down upon. As they get older they grow feelings for one another but noone wants to make a move in fear of ruining their friendship. Then shifters start disappearing. Then Cass is kidnapped. Cass fights and runs and weird stuff starts happening. She has powers and isn't human like she thought? Then she ends up in a prison way, way, way below the Earth's surface. Luckily the guys have money and found her. They go undercover and have Cass go undercover too so they can stop the shifters getting kidnapped and thrown into jail. Plus Cass needs to figure out what she really is and unlock her true potential. Definitely a must read and I can not wait for the next book!!
OMG! This book is amazing. I love how Avery Song ties her book series' together and writing with Victoria Angus has taken her to another level.
This book does extremely well with weaving this world that the series' all take place in. The introduction of the characters was extremely interesting and put a smile on my face. I like the character of Cassandra as she seems familiar to me and really makes herself understood by the reader. I would like to see a little more of the guys, but this book is really about the growth of Cassandra so I understand why we don't see a lot of them.
I definitely look forward to wear this series in particular is going and can't wait to read about Ivy, Celeste, and Alisha. I also can't wait to see how all of these books intertwine as we learn more about each individual character set in this world. Amazing job and a definite recommendation for me to anybody who's looking for the beginning of a really good set of books.
Absolutely devoured this book, so captivating to read. Amazingly written as well as the progression of romance with the mixing of a 4 book characters series. Can't wait to read more.
I'm gonna be honest... I thought I wasn't gonna like this book... I mean what can be interesting about prison? OMFG was I So SO SOOOO Wrong!!! This book was not only an engaging read but I Loved the story line so much!! COULD NOT PUT DOWN!!! It had me hooked faster than a fish!! I'm now counting down HOURS until Book 2!!! I Loved Cassandra's character! She's stubborn, bitchy, and crazy!❤ My favorite kind of heroine in a BOOK!❤ If you were thinking like I was.. That it's not that interesting... Then think again and give this fabulous baby a read!! You won't be disappointed! Promise!😘 Then you'll be as Obsessed as me and counting down until the next one!! Oh and by the way... There will be books about other characters that Cassandra meets! And I've read a sneak peak of one of them( at the end of this book) and it has me so excited to read about the others and how they needed up in prison!!!❤ So scroll up and Click BUY!! So worth every penny!!!❤😘😍

The start was a lil slow/info dump world establishing stuff so i was worried for a lil bit but as ive said time and time before i usually finish books and usually give the first book some breathing room and free pass since it has to accomplish so much.
So if youre not a fan of wordy etc type stuff the start might be a bit much but i promise the wait is worth it!!!
Seriously i cannot begin to explain how friggen pumped i am for not only this series but that THERE ARE 3 OTHER LINKED/CROSSOVER FEMALE LED SERIES as well. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Like yes please sign me the fuck up.
BUT THE WAIT OCTOBER 😭😭😭😭
apparently preorders mean quicker releases so fingers crossed we get them like a month or two apart and not like 6+ 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
Just realised the wait for books is the same soul sucking vibes as cassandra waiting in prison...
Though this book.started rather slowly, it applied a good foundation for the story moving forward. The main character while strong was spoiled and hesitant to love her guys. She finds her strength at differing parts of the story and comes into her own strength and character in the end. It is a journey seeing her ups and downs and seeing how she handle conflict. I cannot wait to see the development of the plot in the next installment.
Wow, this is such a great book for those who are getting hooked on the correctional facility/inmate genre!! I absolutely loved this character and the men in the book. I really like having so many different varieties of supernaturals in this story, even the twins were two different types of supernaturals! I also enjoyed the fact that the MC and her men have known/grew up with each other since they were little. Seeing their relationships evolve has been heartwarming and a bit steamy 🤩 I can't wait to see their relationships grow and see what happens in the next book!
Cass believes she’s the only human in a supernatural household. When her life is in danger and secrets and betrayal comes to light she starts to wonder if she’s maybe more than what she’s been told all her life. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read what’s next for Cass and the guys!
