Rate this book
Nolan Erling is alive and well. Only he doesn’t know why. After surviving the violent Deathmare attack, he hopes he might find answers as he begins training at the DREAM Institute. Unfortunately, getting answers and learning how to navigate and manipulate his dreams is far more difficult than he imagined, and things only become more confusing when he discovers there are more victims like himself. People are dying in their sleep, only to wake up days later in the morgue. When Aeryn Sandman is officially brought in to investigate, it doesn’t take long for her to discover something far more sinister going on. These victims may be waking, but their return to the land of the living comes at a cost. Someone in the dream world is ripping their souls apart and keeping the pieces for themselves. As Aeryn and Nolan discover the truth behind who is responsible, the attacks strike closer and closer to home. The pair must decide how much they are willing to risk to put a stop to the perpetrator because there are far worse things than dying in the dream world, and no one around them is safe. Strap in and get your defense ready. The Dream Defenders are heading on another wild adventure!

Wow another cracker in the dream defenders series. This one took me a little bit longer to get into than the last one. But if I tell you that I just finished it and it’s 4:30am you will know that didn’t last for long. Another exciting ride getting to know familiar characters that are starting to feel like friends and new ones too. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to the next. (Honest review in return for a free ebook).

Another frightening and yet awesome adventure in dreamland. Aeryn and Nolan are great characters and this story is well-written and filled with action. Both of these books are awesome!

Recommend!

Once again, the author knocked it out of the park. The Dreamworld is as vivid as ever with dreams and schemes that keep you turning the pages. And the ending, oh my! It left me with more questions than answers. I will definitely keep following this series. Not only to see what happens next, but because I am invested in the characters. Who/what is Nolan Erling and when can I meet Penchant?! Jump on the Dreamstream and read this series!
