This was a very short and cute insta love romance. I saw firefighters and couldn't help reading it. We have a sweet heroine, an alpha hero, and an adorable kitten. I can't wait to read the next book!

This was a suppperr short read.. wish it was longer.
These two met because Erin new kitty is being well a cat by climbing a tree lol. And she has no time for this so she calls the firehouse and someone shall come over. Walker gets the short stick and goes over to help and is stunned by Erin and he does help her get her kitty down but he gets tiny bit injured due to the claws 😊😊😊
And ask his curvy goddess out.. she says no due to fear and insecure reasons. But she gives in when Walker asks her out again and he learns some frat/football guys made her a joke. Now he has to show her he really loves her when a misunderstanding happens.

Good
This was an enjoyable read. The reason for the three stars is I’m strongly against declawing cats. It’s a cruel and outdated practice that ends to be banned and I hate it when it’s promoted. Declawing a cat is like cutting off a persons finger at the first knuckle and it can cause so much damage to a cats paw, legs and psyche.
Other than that the story was enjoyable and sweet. Walker is a great guy who fell for Erin immediately. Fate stepped in and gave this couple a chance.

Completely safe. No ow/om drama, minor drama near the end. Both are not virgins. H’s past isn’t mentioned and it’s been a while for the h, she’s only had sex a few times and it wasn’t enjoyable for her. No abuse.

I was trying to find short KU novellas and decided to go with a recommendation from a random video. I won’t be doing that again any time soon. 😂
This was honestly terrible. Like wtf did I just read. As soon as they met they were in love. She was the insecure “fat” girl that got pranked and never thought anyone could actually like her, especially not a super hot firefighter. He comes to get her cat out of a tree and after they walk to her apartment he kisses her without permission. The dialogue was so cringey. Have you ever read an immature sex scene? The wording and vibe just felt very weird and naïve. This just wasn’t it.

Walker is the first book in the new Stryker County Fire Dept. series by Kali Hart. It is a hot and steamy OTT insta-love romance short story. This story is about Walker Stone and Erin Campbell. But you can't forget about Rosco her cute but daredevil kitten that brought Walker and Erin together.
Erin is 22 years old and has two more months to finishing her degree. She has a kitten named Rosco who decided to be a daredevil and jump out the bedroom window to the tree, only he will not come back. So Erin phones the Stryker County Fire Department to come rescue him. Walker draws the short straw and boy does it turn out to be his lucky day as he has met the woman that he feels is "his". By the end he has rescued Rosco, gotten three butterscotch chip cookies but no date with Erin even though he has asked. But the next night they run into each other at the local Bingo hall where Erin works part-time and Walker has accompanied his grandma. This time Walker is not taking no for an answer and they have a date set for the following night.
Erin is leery to trust anyone as there was a joke/be played on her by the college football quarterback when she was living in the dorm. She moved out and since then has just kept to herself living on her own. The other thing is that she does not have anyone as her mother was killed by a drunk driver four years ago, so she is on her own. Walker gets Erin to open up to him but he will have to protect her heart. But if he is able to do that then they can build their own family.
This is a fun and sweet, with just a touch of steamy heat but noting explosive, story. The story is well written with a nice story-line and great characters that you like. This book also introduces some of the other men in the Stryker Country Fire Dept. It will be fun to read their stories, especially Dameon, as I think he is going to get himself into a whole world of hurt with a women.

So this was a free ARC copy from a author and booksprout for my voluntary honest review of this read and I so enjoyed it. I just couldn't stop reading once I started , because I just wanted to see how it turned out. And it was worth it to it was so sizzling hot! And it had a great storyline and great characters to read about to, plus like I said before it was so sizzling hot.So this was a new author to me and I look forward to seeing more from this author in the future because I really enjoyed her work! What hot blooded woman dont love firemen in uniform or out of uniform mmmm! He get a call to came save her kitten and before he leaves he kisses her.And then they run into each other around town.And he decides that he's going to mah people ke her his woman, because he wants her soooo bad .So go get this great sizzling hot read and enjoy it, its so worth it to!

Erin’s cat is stuck in a tree and won’t come down not knowing what to do she calls the fire department. Walker gets a call from a lady wanting her cat out of a tree and since he drew the short straw he’s the unlucky one who has to go. When he shows up he realizes just how lucky he really is. I loved this book. It was a first for me by this author but it won’t be my last. Walker was sexy and sweet. Erin was a great character. I can’t wait to read about the rest of the firefighters. If you love sexy firefighters and sexy books then you will love this book as much as I did. The epilogue was really cute as well. Give this book a shot!

Walker is book one in the Stryker county fire department series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Erin’s naughty kitten gets stuck in a tree,, it falls to fire fighter, walker to help. Walker drew the short straw on the call out but he ended up the winner. From the moment he meets Erin, he wants her but will she give him a chance?
The chemistry between Walker and Erin is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

I really loved this story. It made me smile a lot. Loved the interactions between the characters.
Erin has a new kitten and he gets stuck in a tree, so she calls the fire department. The firefighter that shows up is hot enough to be in a firefighter calendar. Walker drew the short straw to go and rescue a cat from a tree. Once Walker arrives, he is glad that he came when he sees Erin. They have a fiery chemistry together that takes off the more time they are able to be around each other.

When Erin has to miss class an call the fire department to rescue her kitten,he didnt sound happy.But when Walker walked up took one look at the beauty before an was glad he got the short straw.Did he get the kitten down an asked Erin out on a date but she said no .There are so!e whats an turns that will keep you riveted until the very last page and leave you begging for more.I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions and their pain.I can hardly wait to see whats next by this multi talented author.

This book was filled with Heat & passion. These two are perfect for each other.
Erin is late for her class cause her kitten decided to jump out her apartment window and climb the tree. Not being able to reach the kitten Erin called the fire department to help rescue the kitten .
Walker isn't to happy he drew the short straw to have to rescue the cat in the tree. But once he arrives he is more then happy he had to go once he saw the beautiful curvaceous owner for that said kitten.
Erin doesnt believe a hot sexy georgious fire fighter could ever be interested in a curvy girl like her, but she is proven wrong. Once Walker sets his sight on Erin he knows he will have her..

After drawing the short straw to go rescue yet another cat from a tree. Walker is surprised to find a beautiful curvy woman standing at the bottom of the tree. After rescuing the cat. Erin insists on giving first aid on the scratch walker has received while climbing the tree. Unfortunately, Erin faints at the sight of blood and Walker ends up caring for her. Returning to the station Walker realises that she is the one and sets about planning how he will make her his. Ms Hart has managed to write a great story with amazing characters who you will want you needing more.

She's not sure, having been hurt too many times. This is a cute quick story, and a great opener to this new series. Erin and Walker have great chemistry together, as soon as she realizes that she can trust him.

Picking the short straw is why Walker is climbing a decorative tree to save a kitten. He eventually saves the kitten without breaking his neck with his over 6 foot frame and solid muscle to return Roscoe the kitten to its owner Erin. Is quick short romance stars from a tree and end up at the fire hall. HEA, very nice, very quick and very sweet.

He finally gets her to say yes to a date and they have a good time. Age bakes cookies and a couple of the firemen say some things and she leaves. He rushes to her place,climbs a tree and fall. They talk and everything is good

Kali Hart is quickly becoming a favorite author for me. She does insta-love short stories that get to your heart. With this we have the sexy firefighter Walker being unable to get Erin out of his mind. The way they meet my is fun many too and he’s exactly what Erin needed.

I absolutely loved this read! Downloaded this morning because hello, hot firefighter! Super short and super sweet! Also love how the author gave us an epilogue of 4 years, not just a couple of months like a lot of books do. I have never read a book by this author before, and I wasn't disappointed! Cant wait to read the next one in the series!

Nothing like your kitty cat getting stuck in a tree. Erin calls the fire station and intrigued by the voice that answers.
Walker draws the short straw and has to rescue a cat in a tree, little does he know that he's about to crash the ground hard for the kitty's owner.
You want and will like these characters. Their story is short and to the point. Insta done well.

A short Instalove story about firefighter Walker who rescues Erin, a student's cat. How they meet and have an instant attraction. Despite this book being so short, the storyline was developed enough and even though we didn't really get to know the characters all that well, they were both likable. It has a HEA and is a quick sweet read.
