An Excellent Patient Guide

This 2019 guide, written by an experienced orthopedic surgeon, is clear, well-organized, and specific. It is effective at providing technical information that is pertinent to patients with hip arthritis, whether or not they have decided on total hip replacement surgery. This book also provides checklists and reminders for surgical patients. All this is couched in language that is authoritative, positive, and realistic. As someone actively considering THR, I found this to be just the book I needed.
