I still love the premise of this story- and I even enjoy the playfulness of Cammie and her brother, Cameron. I enjoyed the villains, and their points of view, but I wish we had to work harder to figure them out and their motives. Though, they did have a legit motive. Greed and lust. I like how committed Mason is to Cammie, and I love Sam, Cameron, and Cammie's friends. I enjoyed how the story kept up in pacing, so it was never a dull moment, and it had some good humor along the way as well.
My hang ups were-
1. editing & formatting
2. Sometimes the characters felt childish- though some were still late teens, but having to fill big leadership roles... they should have sounded a bit more mature.
3. Cammie- not a big fan of hers. She comes off too rough and gruff for me. I like that she is tough, that's good, but sometimes her mannerisms, grouchiness, and cussing at everyone, and trying to assert alpha ways into the pack bothered me.
3. I needed to actually read what happened to Jenny, rather than the outcome being alluded to.
4. The couple say they never told anyone they were fated mates...but some people do know- even some of the bad guys knew. I want to say my memory is correct in one of them mentioning it? But someone told- so when it's asked if anyone knows, and they're like no- then that's bull to me. Oh right- Cammie does tell Gage that Mason is her fated mate... soooooooo
