My name is Haven, and I’m a maddening. And apparently, also a death angel. This wouldn’t be a problem except hybrids are rare and it’s dangerous to be one.
Luckily, I have a few monster friends I can trust. I also have Roman. Although, I’m not sure if I can trust him yet since it seems like he’s keeping secrets from me.
And, at the academy, secrets seem to be lurking everywhere.
Jessica Sorensen is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author from the snowy mountains of Wyoming. When she's not writing, she spends her time reading and hanging out with her family.
Author Jessica Sorensen brings us the next chapter in Haven's life at the Monster Academy for the Magical with Hidden Magic The original title is on the cover that I'm using for this review (The Deadly Four). Haven is rescued from the cage that she was put in by Harper, one of the death triplets sister. She is brought to a new dorm room at the Academy and Harper befriends her. Harper knows where the forbidden books are and takes Haven to that part of the Library where Haven says that the Library is as big as the internet. But Harper doesn't know what the net is so she brushes it off. But the Librarians are the trees that the books get their paper from and it's at that moment that Harper asks Haven about the books from her old world. After they get the book that deals with the type of creature that Haven is they're drugged. I won't spoil the rest of the novella but highly recommend it for all Fantasy fans. This is a good blend of human and monster for this series and I'm interested in seeing where this series goes next.
TOO SHORT! I paid $2.99- I feel like I didn't get my money's worth! When is the next book? I feel that your first two books should be one book! The main character is depressing! I like the story though.
This book is better than the first one because more happens and Harper’s in it I love this character so much I love how upbeat and friendly she is. I hate the deadly three though I don’t now if this is what the author is trying to get you to feel like that but I do
So many unanswered questions! I hope the next book will give more info for the character. She seems like a fish out of water. All in due time. All in due time.
