Gent is a little wild, a little jaded, and he likes to play. Whether it’s a good game of pool, a piercing in a naughty place, or a pretty boy who wants to take him, he’s all for it. When he meets Paul he thinks he might just have found someone fresh and new, someone who’ll play, maybe someone who will be more than a one night stand. Pretty quickly, though, Gent finds out with Paul he gets more than he bargained for. He gets Jamie, Paul’s twin who wants Gent as much as Paul does. Gent thinks maybe he’s in over his head, in for a weird triangle that he can’t handle. But as the three come together in an explosion of passionate fireworks, beginning to explore a whole new world of heat, he learns that there can be a lot more fun in having two.
I live and write in eastern Canada. I went to a bunch of schools, learned a lot of things, and now make stuff up because not to do so is unthinkable. I'm fond of fountain pens, Levenger's Circa system, and Steampunk fashions. I'm inspired by the day to day minutia of life, and find beauty in the way words go together. I like texture and richness of experience. I'm not shy. I'm happy, I'm learning, I'm living.
politically correct twincest. i'm not even kidding.
when the whole story is a series of ostentatiously hygienic and bewilderingly unsexy sexual encounters periodically interrupted by rambling and defensive dialogues justifying the decision to suck your brother's dick with a rubber on it, the result is a book that is neither an effective story nor an effective smutdokument.
I mean, my dude—you've decided to write about a brocest sandwich.
ditch the token lettuce and slap some fuckmayo on that bad-boy, is what I'm saying.
because I did not buy this book to educate myself on safer sex practices.
I bought this book to fap my goddamned brains out until I fainted.
I could not—bcuz FAPMATTER FAIL.

WRINKLYBOTTOMS VILLAGE LADIES KNITTING CIRCLE, BELL RINGING & BUDDY READING CLUB
MINUTES TAKEN FROM MEETING DATED 15 OCTOBER 2013 AT WRINKLYBOTTOMS VILLAGE HALL.
MEMBERS PRESENT:
President: Mabel Braithwaite ( Vicars Wife )
Vice President: Gladys Sidebottom ( Mabel's sister and Homie)
Flora Pickles ( village spinster)
Fanny Crump ( butchers wife)
Connie Biggerstaff ( knitting instructor)
Macky ( be it noted refused to give last name)
7.30 PM. Meeting starts.
Mabel: Welcome Ladies. Nice to see a full house this week. * cough* First of all I was so pleased that for our last meeting we all enjoyed that wonderful classic by our favourite lady ... Miss Austen. Thanks to Fanny for requesting we read ' Sense & Sensibility '. Most illuminating and a worthy addition to our growing collection of inspiring reads! .... Flora is that kettle on? Custard Creams and Garibaldis plated up?
Flora: All done Mabel. Can I just say Connie did a marvellous job with that tea cosy... Who would have thought you could knit the leaning Tower of Pisa? Anyhoo sorry for interrupting Lady president. Carry on with what you were saying, I'll just add a few Bourbons......
Mabel: * cough* Right ladies and now we get to this weeks contribution Gemini requested by our resident knitter extroidinaire Connie! I think I'll leave this * cough* to her to explain... Over to you Connie?
Connie: Don't look at me like that Mabel Braithwaite! .... I mislaid my readers ..... I THOUGHT IT WAS A BOOK ABOUT TWINSETS!!!!!!!!!!!
Flora: Harrumph! Yes well, there wasn't a lot of knitting going on in that story, was there Connie Biggerstaff! Tsk tsk...
Connie: Mutter... Always my fault... Mutter mutter... bet you read it all though ..mutter ... Crabby old spinster. ...mutter ...need a man.... Mutter ... Or cats...
Fanny: Easy done Connie, I thought it was a book about star signs or jewellery making. Without my glasses that earring on the front looked quite fetching .... but that ear looked very strange!
Gladys: Well I woz like totally macking on it homies... It woz just what this cougar wanted foshizzle!
Mabel: Gladys I thought we'd all agreed that once we'd read 50 Cents bio we'd put that to bed?
Gladys: Aight shorty!
Macky: I've actually read this before a long time ago and I remember enjoying it despite the taboo subject matter which might not suit everyone, but we all have our own comfort zones and know if its something we can enjoy or not, as the case may be. Personally m/m twincest doesn't shock me as much as I thought it would but I must admit I'd forgotten how much sex there was in this story. Oh boy do these guys get down and dirty a lot!
Gladys: WORD!!! .. It woz tha shiznit! I woz lovin' da bling bling nipple chains. They woz kickin' !
Flora: Well I was scandalised! SCANDALISED I say! So much so that I had to read it twice or was it three times? .. Just to see if I'd read this dirty dirty story right the first time. I'm incensed ladies... INCENSED! All that grabbing and inserting of body parts! Hot wet kisses and groping ... All three nubile bodies entangled together in a hot tight little naked pile... Grinding and writhing... Slipping and sliding in a sweaty frenzy.... Tattoos and piercings in places that no god fearing person would expose... Oh dear is it me or has the central heating just turned itself up?
Macky: I must admit I did like the three guys a lot, as characters they're endearing and there's no doubt they really do have chemistry. I've read a lot of Ménage's, they're my guilty pleasure but I just wish the sex had been toned down to let a touch more story in. There are smatterings of things going on in the background which if they'd been expanded would definitely have enhanced the book. After a while it did become repetitive and I found myself zoning out a few times when the love scenes kept on coming one after the other.... Flora are you Okay? You're looking a bit flushed!
Flora: You said " coming "... " One after the other " Oh dear I feel a bit faint!
Mabel: Yes well I must say I was a little overwhelmed at the beginning but like Flora ...oh for goodness sake someone give her a cup of Earl Grey and an egg and cress sandwich, that should put some colour back in her cheeks! Where was I? Oh yes like fainting Flora, after I'd read it a second time- for group purposes of course ladies, I found myself warming to the the boys on a whole. The incest will definitely divide some readers but we must of course remember * cough* that this is fiction and as adults its a choice we can make as to whether we choose to read about it or not. Do you agree dear ladies?
Gladys: I'm down with that, Bizzle! BOUYA! Can't dis that Mabes babes!
Fanny: Yes I agree overall, even though I was hoping to learn how to make a friendship bracelet and find out a bit more about what 2013 held for Scorpio's, I actually did enjoy the book... Mr Crump seemed quite pleased I was reading it too. After a lovely supper snacking on my husbands prize winning sausage we retired for a very early night...Mr Crump's meat and two veg is legend as you know ladies!
Macky: I've just finished another Book by Chris Owens called 911 which is also a ménage and of the two I liked that one better for its storyline. In this I would have liked to have seen more drama and conflict arising from the situation and less sexual activity, even though I have to admit there are some sizzling scenes.. My favourite scene comes right at the end when they dress up for Halloween and I have to say what transpires is not just hot its steaming! However, overall I still think in this case less would have been more.
Fanny: Yes me and Mr Crump re-enacted that scene... Oh my golly gosh did I say that out loud?
Gladys: Fanny Crump! What up girlfriend! That's just wack!
Connie: mutter... Knitting pattern book .. Mutter... Someone else can pick next time.. Mutter mutter... A nice mohair twin set... Mutter... Should have Stuck to knitting tea cosy's... Mutter mutter...
Mabel: So my fellow " Buddy readers" ' haw haw! I do so love that modern reading term... Are we decided on averaging our rating at 3.5?
Flora: I'm not sure. I think I might have to read this terrible smutty book of naughty horny sex one more time.....* fans self* ... Can I hang on to those smelling salts Mabel?
Connie: mutter... Whatever... Mutter ...I'm sure It said twinsets!!!! ... Mutter... Stupid reading glasses! ...mutter...
Macky: Yeah, that's fine with me. I vote we round it up because second time around and despite my niggles, I still enjoyed it.
Fanny: Mr Crump would have given it 5! * sigh*
Gladys: Yo...That's jockin' my style homes! 3.5 is tight! I'm feelin' the vibe shawty!
Mabel: Excellent! Now who has any ideas for next weeks books? Connie... Want another try?
There's a lot of fucking going on. It's a Chris Owen story. It should be expected. Plus you know the kink level on the kink-o-meter, it's not a constant 10 out of 10 but when it does hit a high point.(they are bursting and strong)
I mean...twins!
And they found a third to make a smutty triad in tattoo artist, Gent. And they find a lot of positions and kinks to try out in "Gemini". *wipes mouth* Dear sweet Cheesus, there's nipple piercings and chains and fisting and spanking and exhibitionism. The kink factor alone is 5 STARS!
But...the story itself is 3 STARS at the most because it barely scratched the surface of any of the guys. The twins, Jamie and Paul, have some shady past with their last lover (we never find out about that or learn his name), Gent's name is Gentleman? (WTF?! - no clarification) and we never learned what Gent looks like - a pet peeve of mine.(it's 1st POV from Gent) The story is basically PWP, nothing major happens to the throuple. They just get together and form a bond with minor hiccups.
But, uh, those scenes especially in the bar and club...fucking in public, hoping to get caught?
Makes me just average out my rating to 4 STARS. Because those scenes are effing worth it! Porn demon approved!
While reading certain books you sometimes discover new things about yourself. While reading Gemini I discovered twins in a relationship makes me drool. I am no virgin to all that is brotherly love, but somehow I am almost died reading this, and kept looking out for theto strike me down (and if it did, I would be disgraced by the amount of drool around my burnt body).
Gent is a tattoo artist with nipple piercing attached by a chain (just saying cus that shit is important). When a button up dude walks in the shop looking like he don’t belong, Gent is instantly attracted. When said schoolboy hottie says he’s also getting nipple piercing Gent gets all kinds of hard in his pants and is hoping to see schoolboy (Paul) again. When Gent gets his wish and finds out that Paul got his nipples done for another guy, the guy being Paul’s twin brother Jaime. It seems they both want him to come to them. Gent is thinking his life is about to get interesting.
There is no big plot factor here, there is a twin, there is Gent, and all three get naked. Many, many, many times. I guess there is little bit of a down, cus the world will only see paul as Gent’s boyfriend and he can never publicly claim that they both belong to him without giving away the fact that both Paul and Jaime like to naked with each other.
The name of the book is because all three share a birthday, does it have some deeper meaning? Nope, they are Gemini, and now they are Gemini and that other guy. I think the book would have been perfect if there were a few conflicts but there is just sex and more sex. Don’t get me wrong; I am not complaining.
I should warn you guys that if you aren’t into brothers getting naked. Then this book won’t be for you, cus nothing is off limits to Jaime and Paul.
Reflection- I never really thought of the dangers for a tattoo artist. I forgot that they work with blood and needles and need to be over the top safe. This book brought that to light, and I now have a newfound respect for the artists.
Wow. I don't even know what to say about this book. It was so kinky, naughty and dirty...and I loved it. The sex is relentless and so hot I was afraid my computer might overheat. I can't wait to read more of Chris's stuff.
Okaaaay now. I was expecting a bit more plot, but nope.
The story definitely needed a bit more time filling us in on their history, previous relationship and how/why it ended, Jamie's past mysterious trauma. The only holes left unfilled in this one were in the background story. (sorry, couldn't resist) : )
There was a really hot club scene at the end, but I could really, really, REALLY have done without the fisting chapter ('I was holding our boy in my hand' -- *cringe*) and all of the spanking. Not my cup of tea.
It's worth a read, but just be warned that 'literature' isn't exactly what I'd call this one.
** PS - Who the fuck names their kid 'Gentleman'??? (Gent for short.)
7/12/11- Don't kid yourself - this is a sex fest with a whole lot of story around it. This is my first mmm menage story and I like the first person POV. I found the birthday celebration very romantic and I'm not a romantic person. The thoughts and emotions and caring that went into the gifts spoke to a well-matched triangle. Each character had their own special relationship with each other and the love and caring wasn't rushed. It does have a taboo aspect to it that I don't need to belabor - it didn't take anything away for me.
I have never read anything the way this story is written and I like it. I'll be reading more Chris Owens.
ETA 3/11/12 - I still adore this book (even though mmm is not my preferred sexual mix - just to tell you how much I like it). Yes, there's lots of sex, yet, you pick up little gems that make you understand the relationship is moving forward. Not even my typical kind of writing style that I like. Yet it's a reread for me. I recommend this with the caveat of if you're ok with the taboo element.
ETA: 4/22/14 - Rereading again because I love my boys! And in the two years since I last read Gemini, I like mmm (see 3/11/12 review comment, lol) a lot and read mostly mm.
A three way with twins by the author of Bareback? Sign me up right? Unfortunately this was disappointing. I never got to know these men, there was no relationship development, no drama, nothing much outside of the bedroom at all. I wanted a story with drama. It should be hard enough making the three way work but add in brothers? I wanted something besides scene after scene of sex. The thing that kept me reading was that there were hints of issues that might come back to stir things up, but they never did. Frankly I skimmed most of the sex scenes since without the emotional attachment, they didn't even do it for me.
This is one of the HOTTEST books I have ever read! Gent is a tattoo artist who is immediately attracted to customer Paul, when Gent goes home with Paul after a date, he meets Paul's twin Jamie and soon discovers the mutual attraction extends to both men. When I got this book and read a few reviews I thought I would feel weird reading it until Gent goes home with Paul. The book was written from Gent's POV and this is my first time reading a book by Chris Owens and it is not my last time. This book is a battery burner, and I would have read it none stop if I didn't need to have so much relief. Jaime and Paul lost their parents at a young age and Paul needed the security of his brother. In the underlining plot you see a story of three men bonded in an unique relationship that provides the emotional needs of each man, with a sense of equally belonging to each other, which to me makes the love scenes all the more sensuous, the story is more than just sex, it also shows the love that they have for each other. In the story you feel that Jaime will do anything to meet his brother's emotional needs as well has Gent finding a place to belong I loved how he was able to bond with each of them on an individual level as well as together to form a whole. Gemini is not a book for everyone with the whole incest theme, but this book was very well written. I also liked how Gent was cautious about his job and how dangerous and how easy it can be to get stuck and he was careful about using condoms a lot of author don't put that in or characters who don't go and get tested together. I also liked how freaked out Gent was when he got a false positive for Hep c. Overall the story line could have been stronger but I am giving this book 5 stars because it was HOT AS HELL.
Sweet bejeezus! This book has no heat rating because it incinerated it.
Jamie, Paul and Gent make those guys in the daisy chain scenes on Greek pottery look like amateurs. At first, I was just going to rate this: Smutacular! But honestly, this is emotional porn on multiple levels. There are issues being worked on--heehee--yeah, they're working it. Seriously, I actually teared up a bit and the discussion of needs and the objectification of the twins were real and their happiness to find someone who "Got them" was raw and HAWT!
Favorite quote: It’s like he used up all the sounds and words he had, now he’s just going on sensation.
Clearly this book is erotica. I was told about this book and curiousity got the best of me. Jamie and Paul are twins that include Gent as their third. The sex is back to back from chapter one. So if your looking for a steamy read laced with a special kind of lovin' then this is the book for you. Even though being with twins is a secret fantasy come true for Gent, he has doubts about their relationship in the beginning.
This menage was not much different than others I have read. There is usually a connection beyond sex that completes the three. With it being told from one perspective it was easy to keep the story more about Gent's growing feelings and he could see his love for the twins-Jamie and Paul-as different but not weird or strange. With that first person POV its was easy to like this story, with these characters. For all the kink there was a lot of love too.
REALLY HOT! BUT PLOTLESS. Well, to sum up this book: There was a guy named Gent and he met Paul and thought he was hot. Then they groped each other on a dark alley. (this actually happened 3 weeks after they first met.) It was hot. Hot enough that Paul invited Gent to his apartment so he can meet his twin Jamie. So Gent was like, "Why do I have to meet him?" then Paul was like "Because Jamie and I are together." Yeah, they're together together. Like having sex and making love together. Twins having sex. That's right guys! INCEST involving twins!!! Taboo lovers,CHEER!!! Then Gent met Jamie and he liked him too. Then the three had sex (a lot). Then,
That was it? Yeah, that's it.
Yeah the sex, take note: threesome with twins. was very very hot. (as you can notice on my posts) But that was it. I wished this has more to it than just sex. I would've appreciated a really well-rounded read. Unfortunately this was just a PWP.
So if you guys want an erotic read (that doesn't really have a story), this one will be great. :D["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
I was not going to give this book five stars because I could not help but compare it to Sean Michael's Center, which is another twincest/ ménage story. I loved Center and have read it several times. Same concept and probably the same amount of sex. The sex scenes in Gemini may have had a little more emotion involved. Gemini also had me thinking of Sean Michael's Jarhead series because they nicknamed Gent 'Pretty'. So besides the fact that I couldn't stop comparing to Michael's books, I totally enjoyed Gemini.
Gent and the twins had a ménage realtionship that actually seemed balanced unlike some portrayals where there is an odd man out. I like Chris Owens books and this one will go up as one of my favorite reads.
I chose to read this to push my boundaries. I wasn't sure if the twins together would be a problem for me, and it turned out that it didn't bother me, in a book. Not sure that it was something I could be as accepting of in real life.
Chris Owen gave Gent a distinct voice with her writing style. This book was erotica, and unfortunately I would have enjoyed a bit more story and character development, but I did enjoy this for what it was.
I have read other things by this author, and nothing in this story would make me think to take her off my list of authors I enjoy.
Re-read June 2-3, 2017 This was pure and simple smut with some twincest thrown in. Could of had a bit more plot but the kinky sex was amazing.
When Gent meets Paul, there is instant chemistry. What surprises him is when he gets introduced to Paul's other lover...his identical twin brother Jamie.
This triad loves to play and try out new kinks including fisting and spanking. Mild BDSM but very steamy.
I can't believe I read a twincest novel. Proof that I will read just about any book involving all male threeways.
This actually isn't icky and there's surprisingly little angst. I'd say it was typical of Chris Owen's style in books like 911. It's actually pretty sweet, and you don't feel like the relationship is threatened in any big way at any point. LOTS of sex.
(O_o) 3.5 stars. Porn-with-a-tiny-Plot! It served it's purpose though *wink* but seriously if anyone came as much as Gent, Paul, & Jamie they'd be DEAD! The book would have been better if Chris gave the deets of Gent's and the twin's backstories :P
Smuty-licious with quite a few surprise emotional moments in-between all the pages and pages of sex. Overall, I enjoyed this book (I suppose it's not much of a hardship to read about three sexy men having constant sexy-times). Also, I didn't find the book all that taboo considering the subject.
Gent is a tattoo artist, he's wild, he's sexy, he likes to play and he has just been asked out by the hottest and shyest pretty boy ever... After Paul and Gent enjoy a night of beers and pool and a hot encounter in an alley to finish it off, Gent is propositioned something he never thought possible. Paul has an identical twin, Jamie, and they're looking for a serious third. After accepting, Gent finds himself completely in over his head with the sexy twins, and there's no doubt they want him too.
"Doesn't have to. I'm the oldest." I raise an eyebrow at him. "Are you?" He nods and passes me his Coke. "Older than Paul by nine minutes, and a few hours older than you." "Huh. Cool, I guess." "So not only are you the pretty one, you're the baby." He looks terribly smug, the prick.
WARNING: first of all this is twincest, so for those of you that dont even entertain the idea, then dont even try to read this -hate it when people criticize a twincest book cause it actually HAS twincest- also, very light kink, well at least light for me
He makes more happy sounds and shifts around, letting me feel how hard he is. "You get off?" "No. I didn't like it." Yeah, I lie to my boys sometimes. Shut up. He laughs. "Yeah, right." See? Makes no difference. They know me. "Well, then. What should I do for you?" I arch up and grab his hand, put it where I need it most. "Suck me, Jamie."
This is a real real erotic novela, there's very little plot going on, every chapter is sex, sex, cuddle, sex and maybe a sweet RL moment. That's why im rating it 4 stars, this was off the charts HOT, i didnt care about plot or drama or anything like that.
Paul tugs at my chain and I gasp, roll my hips a little, 'cause it feels real nice, and I've been hard for ages, almost half an hour now.
Jamie and Paul are very different men, Paul is shy but wicked in bed, Jamie is just wicked all the time =P the brothers love each other and depend on one another, and they come to feel the same way for Gent too. Its cute and sexy story.
We get into the bedroom and Paul throws himself across the bed, then just as fast rolls over and looks at us. "Brush, Jamie? Hand? What do you want?" He looks like a little kid who's just been promised a pony ride at his birthday party. Except for the hard-on. That's nothing a little kid could sport.
Why not the extra star? I was digging the 'pretty' 'baby' nicknames but at one point the whole 'my boy' appeared completely ridiculous to me.
Recommend to anyone that wants to read a not so long story filled with hot sex.
Sex, Sex, SEX!! This book was full of it, literally left & right. Not that I'm complaining! I love my smut books. And this was even more delicious because it was taboo with twin brothers Paul & Jamie who are lovers, basically taking on a 3rd lover, that's where Gent comes in. And then their birthdays all fall upon the same day. Either thats strangely coincidental or far fetched in the writing.
Despite this book being 100+ pages it basically doesn't really have much of a plot going on here. Its so much sex where you almost have to take a break between chapters because you can't really go a few pages without the 3 of them getting it in again ;)
Yet it was extremely sexy descriptions. I like how the entire thing is from Gent's POV. And its just hot hearing him describe what he is feeling at any given moment and what's going on in his mind. In the end, I think the 3 of them have found something unique. Although I didn't particularly feel the "in love" factor. I felt like the 3 of them were more in lust than love. Probably because there's not much plot. You don't really delve very deeply into their characters under the surface to get to the love. But still a filthy hot book nonetheless. I had a good time. It was fun!
So for about 80% of the book, this was a 3* read for me - good, enjoyable, hot sex, great editing, but not especially memorable. There is A LOT of sex here and like someone else said, the book almost reads like individual vignettes instead of one cohesive story. Then we get to the 80% mark and, between the touching birthday present and the ink, the story deepens considerably. The club scene at the end kicks the hawtness into high gear and was a great closing scene. Loved all three of my boys. I especially loved the pet names - Pretty and Baby - and I loved that the roles weren't always clearly defined.
This is a very straightforward story. There is no major conflict and practically no angst. A good read if you're looking for a menage that's light on the drama, heavy on the sex and generous with the love, topped with a sprinkling of spankings.
The best way to describe the way this book is written is probably by describing each chapter as a short story in these men's lives. There is no overall plot that connects this book together, other than the fact that they're in a relationship. Because of this we don't get to know the characters or their history at all, we're made aware of events that happened in the past but they are never explained, such as it is alluded that Jamie was hurt by someone and therefore doesn't 'bottom well', but we never know anything else about who, what or when. It just made the characters more shallow and I didn't care about them as much as I could have.
Each chapter has a sex scene and some fun kinks are explored which helped breakup the 'normal' sex a bit.
Overall it was a no angst read that was relaxing and easy to read in segments. I won't read it again but I'm glad I read it once.
Hot? First half -or quarter?- Maybe. Then it became pretty damn boring. The last scene had potential, that If I wasn't already fed up with them!
Plot? What's that? = nonexistent. Each ch seemed like a clip of their relationship. Did that prevent the author from dropping tips about their past? Nope. He just threw it out there then left it at that without explaining.
Nearly DNF multiple times.
2 stars for making me realize the dangers that come with being a tattoo artist. It slipped my mind.
I really thought I was going to be more impressed with this than I was. Instead of being one long, smooth story, it was more like several small episodes (the chapters) gathered together into a single book format. Yeah, it can still be considered one story, but it had a very episodic feel to it, like it was originally released a chapter at a time. (Maybe it was?) It also had an odd tone of voice to me - I'm really not sure I can explain it. Not bad, but not good... something I can't describe about reading as if it was Gent himself (it is first person from Gent). It just didn't quite work for me, though I don't usually have a problem with first person. There is lots of hot sex, though, if you aren't squeamish about the twincest or fisting. Not one of my favorites of Chris Owen, but not bad. More or less a PWP.
If you're in the mood for reading porn, then this is the book for you...story is a very light framework to justify all the sex. Minimal angst and lots of sex...if you are squicked out by incest then don't bother reading this one because there is unapologetic twincest...and spankings...and fisting...and lots of, well, sex!
This book is written in a style very similar to Sean Michael so if that isn't your thing, you'll not like this one either...I'm not a fan of Sean Michael but this one wasn't too bad...not quite as unremittingly saccharine.
Знаете, есть порно от Кокибойз с Колби Келлером, или там Джэтом Блэком в главных ролях, где все чувственно, горячо и просто великолепно... Так вот это не тот случай! Низкосортная, бессмысленная и беспощадная порнуха.
I'm about to say something I rarely, if ever, say... there's too much sex in this book. I did like the boys, though and they were really enthusiastic about all the sex, so there's that. :)
