The Steel Wings MC killed my dad a year ago and now I am determined to catch them in the act and give the police the evidence.
So what is my plan to get into the MC?
It's to start hooking up with the President, Jett, who comes into my bar.
But as things progress, I start falling for him. But I get taken by a rival mc because they consider me his old lady and are determined to get the Steel Wings MC to stop dealing drugs.
I tried to get into this. Even skipped over pages because of all the inner dialogue just like all the previous reviewers mentioned. I had to pull the plug and DNF at page 80.
Most of the story was from the H/h’s heads... not a lot of speaking going on. More than 50% of the book he didn’t know who she was, and she didn’t live up to her need to ruin the MC plan from the inside out. There was a lot of repetitiveness and spelling errors. I also didn’t feel any kind of chemistry with the couple. The small amount of interaction with the club happened at the bar with select members, so we don’t even get to know them well, and when Callie had a couple weeks time with them- it wasn’t shown to the reader. Jett says Callie wouldn’t know club business, yet in a glossed over moment it’s stated she was learning information freely. Also, what’s up with the weird Prison Clause!? No MC brother wants his woman shared while he’s in prison just because she’s lonely!!
Overall, the story had great potential, but I felt like it was written poorly. I want to read a story as it unfolds - as in being shown things, having the characters talk more, not to be told everything.
Jett didn't believe that he would ever want to settle down. Callie is determined to get justice for her dad. Someone is out to get them both. Will Callie learn the truth? Will Jett be ready to give up his bed hopping ways?
I loved how both of these characters changed over the book. I didn't blame Callie for going after what she thought was her father's killer, but loved how she slowly started to question things before and how she learned to trust in Jett and his MC. I loved how once Jett decided she was his, he was determined to keep her and was willing to do anything to protect and save her. Good read!

I really enjoyed reading this book. once I was in I stayed there until I had finished every word that was written. Twists, turns and surprises await you within the pages of this book. Some of the surprises you may see coming, while others you won't. Some are large, while others are small. Some may hit you square in the face while others could pull on your heartstrings. But regardless how you find the surprises and they effect you, each and every single one hold the exact same importance within the story. Emotions run high at some points in the story, each and every emotion the characters go through can be felt, I actually went through them along with the character. I did get frustrated a couple of times and did want to bang the heads of some of the characters. But they redeemed themselves during the course of the books. Blair Grey is a new author for me and I am so pleased that I decided to get this book. So worth the star rating I gave it. MC fans if you haven't read this book, I personally don't think you will regret getting this book.
Awful, pages and pages of her having conversations with herself in her head!
Okay a quick rant. Callie is trying to avenge her fathers death. Which isn’t explained why she blames Jett’s mc. In pages and pages of her plotting about revenge, it says NOTHING ABOUT WHY SHE BLAMES THEM!!!! She works as a barmaid yo get Jett’s attention so she can get him sent to prison. Great plan! So her plan is that he’s going to fall in love with her and tell her all his secrets? Oh wait that is what happened. As if he would tell her all that even if she was his old lady!!!!
Sex without any foreplay but it was amazing? 😉 Sex without a condom, how does she know he hasn’t got any diseases?? Not getting up and washing after sex without a condom, ewwwww! Not getting up to wash her makeup off and she’s been sweating all night at the bar!! Ewwww! It just gets worse. Totally unbelievable that they would hold meetings about selling drugs in a bar.
DNF@chapter 3 - Took nearly 3 chapters for the hero to walk half-way across a bar to talk to the heroine. All the while, the povs went from him (droning on and on about finally approaching the hot new bartender and welcoming back a brother being released from prison) to her (droning on and on about her plan to infiltrate the club and send them all to jail to avenge her father) and then back to him again (to drone some more about finally making his move on the hot new bartender). By the time he reached her, I decided that if this in-depth character development is any indication of how this book (this SERIES) is going to progress, I should just quit now before boredom and frustration makes me crazy! Thank goodness for Kindle Unlimited, so I didn't have to pay for this!
“Jett” is the first book in the new series, Steel Wings MC. Jett is also the President of the Steel Wings MC. He spies Callie working as a waitress at the club’s favorite bar. They have an instant connection but Callie is set on destroying the club and Jett. Callie believes the club is responsible for the death of her father and she wants revenge. This book has lots of action, suspense, drama, intrigue, intense passion and romance. If you’re looking for an exciting, deeply emotional story that will hold your attention from the beginning, “Jett” is it. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
This is my first read by Blair and she definitely won me over with Jett's story. This book is packed with suspense, action, and steam - something that will keep you on the edge of your seat one minute and melting the next. I loved how it flowed, it didn't drag or get boring at any point. This is the first book of the Steel Wings MC series, but I have a feeling that each book may be able to be read as a standalone - I will follow up with that since I will be diving into the next book shortly.
This book is mediocre at best. I enjoy MC romances and this book had the elements but not really the real MC feel. The members in the book refer to it as a MC instead of just their club, no clubhous, business conducted in bars. Just not the feel of a normal MC romance. I mean Jett isn't even very upset that Callie was going to betray them. Sorry but not one of my faves. I freely reviewed this book.
This is a MC story with an interesting twist! Blair Grey has started the Steel Wings with Jett and Callie's story. Jett is the president of the MC and Callie wants to see it brought down because she thinks they killed her father. This story is well paced, has interesting twists and turns, and crazy chemistry between Jett and Callie. I loved Jett, he is a macho, alpha biker with heart and uses his head in this relationship. Great Start, Great Read.
Great MC romance! Callie is determined to get revenge for the death of her father, Doc. She is positive the Steel Wings are at fault and is determined to get close to their president, Jett. She works at the bar the MC frequents and it doesn't take Jett long to notice her. The more she gets to know him, they more she doubts what she was led to believe. There is tons of intrigue, drama, danger and the chemistry between Callie and Jett is off the charts. Loved it!
The H is written like she is a 15 year old crushing on the school football captain, if you swapped the name bar for classroom and the Steel Wings for School Football team you wouldn’t notice it was a MC book.....He was a shit lay no forplay and a 1 and done and he talked club business in a local pub so add dumbass as well. I got half way through then just skipped to the end.
Jett is the president of the Steel Wings MC and falls for Callie a bartender. Sparks fly but Callie has secrets of her own and plans on destroying the MC that killed her father. Will she get her revenge? Fast-paced read with loads of drama and steam. I liked the characters and the story has plenty of twists and turns. A good read.
This entertaining book is a good read with presumptions, chemistry, strong main characters and good secondary characters. There are elements of drama, deception, steam, and jumping to conclusions. It is a little wordy at times but I think the next books in the series will be better. I liked it. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.
I have become a fan of this author by the way she will pull me into her books and give me surprise after surprise all the while giving me the bikers I love. This is Jett and Callie’s story and is filled with steam and everything else I like in my MC reads. As always I can’t wait to see what comes next from this author.
It’s a very short book and basically unlike any other motorcycle club books. I’ve read. Callie thinks she’s kind of a hard butt email, but she really isn’t. Jett it’s pretty soft for an MC president as far as I was concerned and I just was not with either one of characters. I gave it a three star because the offer made an attempt at writing a decent book.
A new series and a new MC from this author, yes please. The story sucks you in from the beginning and it really is hard to put the book down because you want to know what they are going to do next. The characters were done very well and as a whole the book was very enjoyable.
This was Ok, but for some reason I just didn't gel with it. I can't put it down to anything in particular, it just wasn't for me. That doesn't mean it was bad, just not my style.
Had this on audio and it was still a DNF. I got fed up with the repetition going on. Didn’t grip me at all which is a shame as I’ve read a lot of good MC books and needed a new author to keep me in the read material that I liked
I didn’t particularly like this book. The plot is fine I guess, but it was executed poorly. There was no character development really and they felt very flat and boring. Nothing was developed so it just felt rushed.
A suspenseful, passionate and entertaining page turner that kept me on the edge of my seat. Jett and Callie find something neither of them expected and oh boy, was it fun going along with them on this journey.
I chose this book because it was alright. I enjoyed the characters. I think the author did a pretty good job in writing this book. I enjoyed it overall.
Ok I’ve read the whole series and it’s pretty good! The characters are alpha and hot yet the storyline is actually quite good too. A little insta love and drama 🎭 but even so I really enjoyed it
