If the Predators dont get you, the Alien will! Predators board a luxury charter spaceship, unleashing a path of terror and bloodshed. An adolescent girl and her younger ''brother'' are the last to survive, and begin a cat-and-mouse chase with the attackers. They hope for an escape, but they haven't counted on the Alien . . .
This was interesting, I like Tyler a lot. He was both adorable and interesting character. The sister, Maria, was...scary. She was an extreme personality, jumping from panic to angry to the extreme. I wish this had more pretext before the atory, setting up characters. I feel like there was some extra story between the Mother and Father, a tension, but nothing a written. It hard to care or feel the lost of a character that was only there for two pages. Pretext would have been food for that. Loved that it was completely colored graphic. Gives extra details to the characters and scenes.
I was initially a little dubious about this issue when a Predator was shown carving its way through unarmed people, but an explanation for their behaviour is hinted at later on that makes sense, and the premise behind this story is interesting. I'm not sure how I feel about the two protagonists, but I'll definitely be picking up the next couple of issues.
Good color artwork, dark horse freebie. A pleasure liner drifts off course. Predators board and slaughter everyone whether they are armed or not. A girl and her synthetic person struggle to survive.
