Remy Blake are back with another fantastic story! Husband was sexy, addicting, romantic and I absolutely loved everything about it. Brimming with sass, fire and alpha possessiveness and above all else, a gorgeous love story with all the feels.
Brock and Ivy are better than ever! These two are always fun to read. Everything about this couple screams SCORCHING HOT!!! It’s magnetic, palpable, tangible, intoxicating, curl your toes romance!! I just love this couple; they are strong characters on their own and together they are simply magical. Their chemistry is electric and their banter is witty and had me laughing often.
I absolutely adored and loved this story. It was sweet, funny, touching, well written, sexy with strong dialogue. A truly satisfying read, giving full closure to a much-loved couple.

My ONLY complaint with this book was
THERE WAS NO EPILOGUE!!!!!! Like...huh???
Yes this book picked up 3 years after the last one finished but who gives a damn! I needed to know what happened 10 years down the road 😂
Ok, this was just a great ending to the story! We still have Ivy being the ballbuster she has always been and Brock is a lil manic because he thinks she’s gonna go back on their engagement. He’s actually comical!
This was just a sweet hot finish to a great little duet! These are quick hot little reads and I will definitely be reading more from these authors!!!

This author duo has done it yet again! If you haven’t read Guardian I suggest you jump on that book now so you can follow right behind that last page with Husband. I adore Ivy and Brock and being alongside them as they continue on with their lives is epic. The storyline stays strong throughout this read and you’ll never want to put the book down its that good.

What a great surprise to round off 2019 with a novella that catches up with what’s going on in the lives of Ivy Colt and Brock Marshall. We first met them in Guardian and I welcomed reading more from this pair, especially Ivy and her sassy ways that test the brooding alpha male, Brock. Yep, Ivy loves to tease him due to their age gap.
Two years later, still very much in love and engaged, they've defeated all the odds. These two should be happier than ever but when they hit a bit of a rough patch, it made me wonder if they'd make it down the aisle. Meant to be together, they both have such a stubborn streak.
Brock and Ivy are as passionate as ever inside and outside the bedroom. The chemistry was always off the charts in Guardian but in Husband, it's extremely palpable. Planning a wedding always has its ups and downs and Ivy and Brock's circumstances were no different. It was great to see Jude, Ivy’s best friend and although Brock always had a touch of jealousy where Jude was concerned, it was great to see the fun banter between these guys. Also, Ivy’s mum put in an appearance and whilst they haven't always had the best of relationships, it was evident she was happy for her daughter regardless of her reservations.
This very enjoyable read was well-executed with a dash of steam here and there; normal from the dynamic writing duo. Bringing their ideas together, one wouldn’t notice this is two authors. Everything always merges perfectly. I highly recommend picking up the first book Guardian to appreciate the story told in Husband. Five well-deserved stars for a deliciously seductive read told in dual point of view, giving the reader an insight into both of the protagonists' minds. Hoping that maybe we get to see a story about Jude as he was a very likeable character and everyone deserves a happy ending.

KU book.
I’m alone in thinking that this was a cheesy romance....sigh. Brock seems to have turned in his man card as he seemingly begs Ivy to marry him quickly because he’s 39 and wants to start a family.
What did I like? Seems like the man and woman roles were reversed in this book, and since I’m old fashioned it didn’t really work for me. I felt the blurb told us Brock was one way but I didn’t feel it.
Would I recommend? If you like a sappy love story with some cheesy candles and bath romance.
Thoughts for the author? My first by this author and three stars doesn’t make it a bad book, I just expected more due to that cover and blurb.

Husband is a quick and easy read, the conclusion to Brock and Ivy’s story in Guardian. Brock is an older, alpha male and Ivy is a sassy student. The banter between Brock and Ivy is hilarious, adding Jude into the mix provides some welcome entertainment. There are some romantic moments that will have you swooning.
As the title suggests, wedding bells are imminent or maybe not. In Ivy’s true sassy style she isn’t making it easy since Brock put a ring on it. Oh she’s not holding out on him in the bedroom, because she isn’t stupid and Brock has a lot to offer.
Seems that they can’t get onto the same page. It doesn’t matter what they do they seem to be opposing each other. Brock still has a jealous streak when it comes to Jude, Ivy’s best friend with benefits. He knows it’s unfounded but it is human nature and her stalling has him questioning their relationship.

Husband is the follow up Novella to Guardian by Remy Blake and it was every bit delicious. I was so excited when I heard we were getting more Brock & Ivy, these two leads have such an emotional and sexy chemistry that’s off the charts, they push each other’s buttons and you can’t help but be swept up in their story.
Ivy is sass with a capitol S which is one of the things Brock loves about her. He too loves the game of give and take and his love for her is epic. He knows what he wants and usually he gets it. I love the lengths he goes to show Ivy he loves her.
I loved that this book was the next stage of their relationship, the challenges, the snark and the threat that over time things change. This made the whole book in my opinion really quite relatable. Guardian is probably my favorite Remy Blake book. Something about the chemistry of Ivy and Brock made me love them. So when Remy Blake announced Husband was coming I was happier than a pig in a blanket because I've wanted more of them.
Husband has not disappointed me! Brock and Ivy are the same couple I fell in love with and probably fell even more in love with. The spitfire Ivy is and the Alpha Brock is, their relationship is like oil and water showing how amazing their love is.
Husband is their mini tale of becoming husband and wife, highlighting some of the trials of planning a wedding. This book made me laugh and want to knock their heads together! Bravo Remy Blake on this follow up! Another 5 start read!

When an author duo makes you fall in love with characters, it's always nice to see them again from time to time. Age Gap stories are a hit and a miss, Brock and Ivy are definitely a hit. I loved them the minute I met them. They compliment each other in so many ways, Brock doesn't show the age gap and treats Ivy as if there isn't one. Ivy's sass and Brock's alpha tendencies work together to bring on the heat and the caring they have for one another is addictive and it shows that they are a mature couple that find themselves working through the humps and want to keep the love they know is there alive and moving forward. Hope to see this couple again from this amazing author duo.

Guardian made me need to know what happened to these two.... Another short read, that gets you into the story and moves right along. I was glad to read the next installment. Those two know how to push their buttons. Even I got worked up with some of their decisions. The dual point of view, really brings you into the story and makes you feel the frustration, happiness, and everything in between.
Jude really adds another level of emotion and attachment to these guys. Gets some giggles out of me and helps lower the tension (most of the time, other times he creates the tension in the room.) I loved watching the relationships grow and change between Ivy and Brock. Some nice steamy scenes.

This book is the second installment of the series. The amazing duo Remy Blake. You need to read the first book guardian to read this book. I was lucky enough to get an arc copy but would gladly pay for it. Ivy and Brock are the hottest couple their sexual tension can be felt by reading each page. Like with every love story a little drama occurs and wonder will love conquer all.
Once I started reading this book I couldn’t put it down. I’d try but it would draw me back into it. If your looking for a beautiful written hot and steamy, short and sweet book this is the book you need.

I'm so glad Remy Blake decided to continue on and give us readers more of Brock and Ivy.
They are definitely not your average couple. They are both fiercely loyal and stubborn. They know what they want and they go for it. But sometimes compromises need to be made to have a successful relationship. It's a give and take.
But as always Remy Blake delivered another great hit! I can't wait to see what they have in store for 202

O yes Husband was the perfect sequel to Guardian. Brock is the perfect flame for Ivy's fire she has in her as she is the perfect light to his dark.

What a terrific sequel to Guardian!!! Colt and Ivy hop off the pages! You feel as if you're part of the book and in between the two. You get all the feels and also some 🔥🔥🔥🔥 sexo (not a typo)! But there’s more sizzling sexiness from two of my favourite characters as love conquers all in this wonderfully romantic novella. It’s an absolute treat for Ivy and Brock fans. Great continuation!
Loved everything about this new story with Ivy and Brock! I really enjoy getting new stories that continue on the character’s lives and this one did not disappoint! The way that Brock surprises Ivy is so romantic and bring them together like they were destined to be. Another awesome story from Jacob and Marley that you don’t want to miss!!

Husband and Wife
After reading Guardian with all of its angst and sex, I really enjoyed reading the St. Augustine location wedding scenes. The authors capture the love and the feeling of happiness felt upon marrying the one you truly love. Of course, there are sex scenes and the f-word are used if you're not familiar with Brock and Ivy's story.

This was an awesome addition to Brock and Ivy's story. It was a quick, sexy read that I finished in one sitting. I was amazed at the emotion poured into such a short story. Remy Blake had me by the heart. I ached for Brock and Ivy as they struggled to find their way. The ending was absolutely perfect. I will definitely be recommending this book to everyone.
