An explosive thriller when three very powerful men, head of agencies in Iran, China and Russia team together with an idea to make America pay for all past actions toward them. They decide to take out the President, and although that in itself will cause a Big splash, there is still their common enemy, a man who has hurt each one of them and refuses to die..Zeb Carter...And His Death is the one they All really want, with plans for that to happen right along with the Potus!!
The Agency are on vacation, only Zeb and the Twins left in their NYC office. Joking, keeping up with their security business, relaxing..Until Zeb feels a tingling in his neck..A sure sign that evil lies in wait..
Their are shots, near their office. A bus with a tire shot out with a very unusual bullet from a sniper rifle inside. The Twins are at their regular coffee shop when a bullet flies between them, causing crowding and fear, especially when a glass sliver cuts into one of the girl's neck..The enemy is closer, and Zeb is now hunting...which would bring fear to any of the hunted!
A fabulous story with action, twists, and friendship, characters I know you have come to love with new ones to fear or hate! Scenes that you find yourself in, with shortness of breath, the smell of gunfire and a lasting hope that someone will save the day..
I received an ARC from the author, but give you every heartbeat, smell and fear I experienced in my thoughts and words in this review..

This is a well written story, probably the best in the series when one takes into account the first few chapters.

The characterisation of the main antagonist - the Russian assassin - is exceptionally done. The way he played Zeb and the twins in the first few chapters is absolutely thrilling.

Zeb Carter book #6

As in all the books in this series fans know that they will be into an explosive read from start to finish, “Zero Dark” is no exception. This thriller is action packed, a little over the top but it is one of those captivating and enjoyable read hard to put down…of course if you don’t take what is happening too seriously…

In this latest installment, influential intelligence heads of three nations, Iran, China, and Russia come together in a plot to take out the U.S. President on the anniversary of 9/11 in NYC and Zeb Carter with his team in their N.Y city office. What follows is never ending suspense with as many twists and turns we can swallow. Take a breather, we need to, so many unexpected events come our ways. It is really hard to believe what we read but it surely makes for a very exciting read. What an imagination Mr. Patterson has. As we follow Zeb and his group on their hunt to thwart the plans of the foreign kill teams, they in turn, place all their attention on their goal…kill the president and Carter.

All the climatic scenes are played out intensely throughout the streets of N.Y.: gunfire, fights, explosions, you name it we have it. We have new characters in the foreign operatives and recurring ones in Meaghan and Beth with cameo appearance from the guys. All players are well-dawn and have terrific roles. Of course this story is fast paced and easy to read; no vulgar language, no sex scenes or mushy romance just action, action and more action. But, yes a but, this is the first time I come across editing omissions: such typos, missing words in any of Mr. Patterson’s books I have read in the past I presume since my version is an ARC the final version has been refined….

In my books this is another winner for the fans and for Mr. Patterson

When you make enemies of high ranking evil members of other countries, you know it's only a matter of time until they decide to take you out. But who would anticipate that intelligence members from China, Russia, and Iran would work together? However, they all want to see Zeb Carter taken out, and in such a way that none of them will be connected to his death.

They have what seems to be a perfect plan in an assassin that isn't know to anyone. But then there is a side plan to try and kill the President of the United States on the anniversary of 9/11.

Will Zeb and the twins put the pieces together in time to stop the assassination of the President? And will Zeb come out of this unscathed? There are some unexpected twists along the way and some explosions towards the end. This book will keep you hooked from the start to the end.

Better and better!

Zeb's a hero. A hero with enemies. Three of the most powerful in the world team up to get rid of their enemy--permanently. But there is more. He isn't the only powerful man they want to take out.

Will Zeb and his team be able to take down the assassin unknown but the most deadly?

The agencies and characters are all well fleshed out. The intrigue complex. The battles are breathtaking.

Ty Patterson has once again given his fans another amazing story. I especially enjoyed the interaction with Zeb and the twins who are sister/daughter like characters with genius intelligence, superwoman abilities, and undying loyalty.

This is a fantastic book; one of Ty Patterson’s best. There were nights I should have stopped reading because it was late, but kept thinking “just one more chapter,” it was that good! Zeb Carter is the hero everyone wants to have on their side. He is the great equalizer who is always helping those in need. This book is all action, no romance, and no vulgar language. Read this one, you’ll be glad you did! I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. I liked it so much I still preordered a copy!

Zeb Carter has made a lot of enemies. Now someone is trying to assassinate him. But who? why? and is that all they want to do? As the plot unfolds and Zeb Carter says those chilling words "It's time to go hunting" you will be taken right into the middle of the explosive action. Standing beside Zeb as the bullets fly!
This story is a great addition to the series and once you start reading you won't want to stop.
Definitely recommend for those that read suspense thrillers!

Zeb Carter and the Twins return to put it all on the line.

Zeb Carter has a target on his back. His enemies' target. A multi-agency target. And the Twins have his back.
It's a formula for conspiracy, assassination and espionage. The action is nonstop and clever. Author Ty Patterson has once again taken the time to research the underbelly of international covert operations. Get an afternoon nap because you'll be up late burning thru this defense of life and liberty.

Zero Dark. Ty Patterson

This is an explosive read from start to finish. Iran, Russia and China, not their leaders but agents in charge of their covert agencies have sent an Iranian hit team to kill POTUS. Russia has sent an elite killer to kill Zeb Carter. The Russian is in charge of the entire operation. Zeb is unaware of the contract on him until the attempt is made. A magnificent page turned from start to finish. My highest recommendation!!

I've been reading Ty Patterson's books since the early days when he got his start with the Warrior series, and with every new book, they continue to get better and better. Zero Dark takes his writing to a whole new level, weaving an intricate tale with numerous plot twists and plenty of action to rival anything put out by Lee Child, Vince Flynn, and Brad Thor, among others. It's that good. I can, without reservation, highly recommend this book. You won't be disappointed.

China, Russia ,Islamic and Middle East, each have tried to kill Zeb he was a thorn in there side. Solution combine their forces, and take him out in New York. The Agency people most were on vacation, except for the Twins, and Zeb. Attempts are made, and failed. Interesting of how they worked to uncover who was behind the attempts. Did it stop in New York. The three are going to Iran. These three worked well together, watching each other’s back.

Zen, Zeb,Zeb

Ty just raised the bar. Non-stop suspense and pace. Can’t wait for the next book ... and pay-back? Still, there was one thing that wasn’t explained and that had me wondering about some of the players, at the end. Don’t want to say what, as that, I think, would be a spoiler.

Wow a rollercoaster ride from beginning to end. Zeb and the twins are being watched, but why and by whom. Also plots afoot that will make 9 11 fade in their awfulness. Riveting stuff. Another excellent addition to this cracking series

Great read in the series. The twins take on a much stronger personality as the team takes on terrorists on their home turf. Plenty of action in a well delivered story.

A compelling, fast paced thriller with well paced action sequences. The "twins" were great protagonists and frankly seemed a lot more interesting than Zeb. Really good summertime read.

I really enjoyed this book. Lots of action and intrigue. The strong silent type might be a stereotype, but we love it for a reason. Plus, there are lots of other characters to get to know if he’s not your type. If this is one of a series (it must be), I’ll be looking for more. As well as anything else by this author.
