I am truly sorry that this book seems to be out of print. To me, it is a wonderful, imaginative fairy tale with a fine message.

I read it once as a child and I loved it then as now. In re-checking it out at a new library, I discovered this inscription:

This is one of my favorite books of all time! I love the message = "Handsome is as handsome does"!
