It’s powerful, and with that, you can speak to the four winds, ...(c) Q: “Oh yeah, you’re grounded for life. Did Principal Vernon give you the whole 'be a lady' speech?” “Yeah, he did.” “Well don’t listen to him. You’re not like the rest of us. You have to think about your destiny. I’ll be a lady. You be a legend.” (c) Q:
Finished on May 1st. Sheena Meyer continues her adventure of saving people she's connected with. Sheena still can't handle her gleam powers very well, but her grandmother had been helping her. When searching for the lost boy (neighbor) and some other kids, she spoke to the wind to send messages to angels. Even though there were also murks in the wind who almost killed Sheena in her adventure, she used her ability of visioning to get the correct guidance and saved the kids.
I really liked this book because it is the 2 book of the Sheena Mayer series and I have been reading this series for a long time because I did not know they had numbers but still this book was my favorite of the series so far. The characters are Sheena Meyer and she is the most important character and she has a dress in this book and a ponytail. The second character is her Mom but she only says her name. This is in my Hero’s Journey because It makes me like to read more and this book changes me with the same thing. I will recommend Pookie because she is reading a book from this series.

Hello, everyone, I am Matias Suarez, and this is my review of what I think of it. My rating is from one to five stars. Now remember this is all my opinion, and I will write a little prafgraf about why I chose the rating I chose for those pages. Then I will write the pros and cons of each, one of which is my favorite, and then I will write the questions I had when the book finished and if you should keep reading it or read another series, so let's begin.
Pages one to fifty. This was the worst part of the book for me since it held little action. It only gave a little background of the characters. Who are they, and why are they here? For me, the part about the characters is cool and all, but what I do not like from the first fifty pages is that they only give a brief description of who Sheena is and that you will need to know more, so what I would improve is that I would put just a little more action like maybe put nana telling one story about her past and how she found out she was a gleaner and that it was hard for her.
Pages fifty to one hundred for me, this is the third best part. It is filled with a limited amount of Acciona. Still, when Nana told her story about how her family became gleaners and how she came to be, I didn't trust myself. Still, I know if it is j, but I liked this part a lot. I felt how Nana felt when she told Sheena the story since she knew that Sheena would begin her journey there, and for me, that was when the book started, which is where things began to kick off. What I would have done differently is that I would have just put a description of the murk rather than leave me to think of it.
Pages one hundred to two hundred
First, I want to start with, sorry I wanted to put these two together. It is just that these had the same topic, and they should be together, but to begin with, I like this part a lot of the same things. It talks a lot about the murk and why it is evil dn, then it also, in another book, shows all the characters being united. Why does Sheena think Ariel is her guardian angel, and how does she begin to doubt that? How does she begin to fight the murk, and how does she almost get killed? This, for me, was the part with a more action-filled one. Then it all ends in a perfectly tied area when the principal comes to save them, and it feels legendary how good that part is tied together, and I like this part the most.
In the final 41 pages, I liked this part when they eventually stopped the murk and Luke; for me, it felt a little bit to exercise the part when Sheena tries to save Ariel, and when she does, she almost drowns. Me, that is something pretty dumb since the teachers need to be seeing everyone and, if not, give them floaties, so I feel that was the worse part of the entire book.
Guardian Angels who help the Gleamers who help others
Book 2 is just as good as The Girl who looked Beyond the Stars. Sheena is still unsure of her new abilities, but her Nana who is also a cleaner is helping her. Sheena sees things others cannot such as angels who come to help and also evil in the form of the Murk. She also sees things that are to come. When a young boy who is her neighbor goes missing along with some other children go missing, she has visions of where to find them. She must will herself to get past her fear and go after them with the help of her friends.
Ooh, I liked this one better than the first. It was also slightly scarier. I love this series so much. I can't wait to read the final book.
Again, I LOVE Sheena's character. Gotta love her stubbornness. And I am so glad we got to learn more about Ariel in this book. Also, I am living for the hints on the romance.
Personally I love ❤️ l.b.Anne’s books yes I may be a young reader but I have read the first three- the girl who looked beyond the stars, this book and the girl who captured the sun. I have nothing to say about any of her other books as I have not read them (yet). They have an amazing idea behind them and are definitely by far my favourite books that I have. Hope this review was helpful.
This book had many surprises and it was well written. The ending gave one of the biggest surprises. This book has made many improvements from the first one.
This whole series, including this book, are indistinguishable from each other. I feel it would be better if the author combined some of the books together, because they are all so similar.
I love this series!!! I still think it was kinda short, but still I really liked this series, definitely recommend for people who like Christian fantasy!
