This was a well-written story of female friendship set in the modern UK with some paranormal tones. I enjoyed getting to know Ana and Ro as they navigated their job to repair tears in the world to keep the realms of natural and supernatural separated. This is a quick read and an entertaining short story that I finished in one night.

Ritter’s prose is an absolute delight. The voices of each character pulled me right in, Ro a lot more than Analiese to be honest. Ro is the best friend of a girl who can see the tears between this world and the veil. A power that shakes her life and Ro’s. Set in contemporary UK, this short story will appeal to fans of The Time Traveler’s Wife and Never Let Me Go.

I read it all in one sitting! Only wish this story had continued. I was a little surprised it ended where it did. I wanted more!
