This manga is about a boy who lives in a yoai world, the land of bl or a realm of bl and with one wrong move you end up in a yaoi relationship. One of the oddest plot I have ever read about.
It was hella funny and being a hardcore fujoshi I can't help but cringe seeing all those yaoi OBVIOUS because for years I have been rooting for all these moments.
Overall I really enjoyed it. And the live adaptation released this year was just cherry on top. Esp that theme song!

Thế Giới Tuyệt Đối Cong vs Chàng Trai Tuyệt Đối Thẳng - Tập 1 xoay quanh nhân vật "tôi" - người nhận ra anh ta đang sống trong "thế giới truyện tranh Boys' Love" - nơi bất kỳ tình huống nào cũng có thể dẫn đến tình yêu giữa hai thằng con trai. Nhân vật "tôi" bắt đầu tìm kiếm và trao dồi kinh nghiệm để "né thính" trước bất kỳ tình huống nào khiến "tôi" rơi vào lưới tình với một chàng trai.
Thực sự là nội dung của quyển này có vẻ kỳ lạ, nhưng mình thích nó bởi nó thân thuộc. Nếu bạn nào giống mình - đã đọc qua kha khá truyện Boys' Love thì có thể nhận ra sự thân thuộc về nội dung của quyển manga này. Câu chuyện liên tục đưa ra các tình huống: cơ thể, biến thái, cảm cúm, đi nhậu, v.v mà những tình huống này đều dẫn đến tình yêu giữa các chàng trai với nhau. Đặc biệt, tình huống khiến mình buồn cười nhất là "Người rơi" và "Biến thái", ai đọc qua Boys' Love chắc không xa lạ gì hai tình huống này :)))
Biểu cảm của nhân vật "tôi" là điều không thể thiếu trong truyện, nhìn biểu cảm của "tôi" trong các tình huống mà mình cười đau bụng. Và mình không ngờ con mèo đực tên là Miiko :)) Bên AmarkBooks thiết kế bìa đẹp thật sự, giấy chất lượng, bookmark + postcard xinh!!!

since i'm an avid yaoi reader half of my life, i am confident in saying that this manga reveals most of the clichés and stereotypes in the bl world plus the fact that it's hilarious?!?!? i couldn't ask for more. mc is tired being in the world full of bl happenings surrounding him but god knows he just needed a lover LMAO

A BL gag manga with a mob character as the protagonist who is aware he lives in a BL world, it's really freakin hilarious. Especially when we don't even know the MC's name yet, like a true mob character.

Większość czasu zajęło mi ogarnianie kto jest kto i czy to MC bo wszyscy tam wyglądają tak samo tylko mają slightly different shade włosów. Generalnie to śmieszne ale trochę nudne.

Ich weiß gar nicht, wo ich anfangen soll, weil ich während ich das hier schreibe, immer noch lache 😂.
BL Forever vs. No More BL vereint so ziemlich alle BL Klischees in kurzen Episoden von 4-6 Seiten. Erlebt werden diese Sequenzen mit einem namenlosen Erzähler, der seine Erfahrungen und Gedanken sehr trocken auf den Tisch legt.
Ehrlich ey, ich hab echt gehofft, dass die Reihe gut wird. Aber gleichzeitig nicht erwartet, dass dieser Auftakt so ein Highlight Potential hat. Der Erzählstil ist einfach so gut!!
Der Band ist leider recht dünn und super leicht, sodass er sich ein bisschen wie eine von den Verlagsleseproben anfühlt beim aufschlagen. Allerdings macht dieser Band das definitiv mit seinem Inhalt wett, finde ich jedenfalls.
Der Titel ist offiziell als Boys Love betitelt, es bleibt also spannend, ob unser Protagonist irgendwann doch gegen die Boys Love Welt verliert. In Japan gibt es aktuell drei Bände, ongoing.

Achei bem engraçado mas senti falta de um plot além das piadinhas, imagino e espero que nos próximos volumes isso comece a se desenvolver.
Me lembrou vagamente a Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun no estilo de comedia que ri dos tropes do genero (no caso isso é exatamente igual), mas quero tentar não comparar muito os dois já que o segundo está em um pedestal altíssimo pra mim como meu mangá favorito então seria até injusto kkkk

El prota vive en un mundo BL pero no quiere ser el prota de una historia así, por lo que se la pasa evitando cualquier cosa que pueda volverlo partícipe a la vez que evidencia lo absurdo y rebuscado de los escenarios. Una joya.

I like how the main character analyses everything and tries his best to stay a side character.
There is a kinde BL extra chapter but yeah. Honestly I wish there would be more to this. It was really funny! Also I do like the drawings quite a lot!

Ich glaube, ich habe die ganze Zeit während des Lesens ein riesiges Grinsen auf dem Gesicht gehabt. Dieser Manga hält dem BL-Genre den Spiegel vor indem er sämtliche Klischees auf's Korn nimmt und zeigt wie absolut absurd manche sein können. Ich hatte etwas Angst, dass das Ganze herablassend gegebüber BL-Fans wirken oder auch homophobe Aspekte haben könnte. Aber soweit ich das beurteilen kann, war meine Sorge weitesgehend unbegründet.
Der Manga ist sehr episodisch aufgebaut und die einzelnen kleinen Geschichten sind recht kurz. Ich frage mich, wie lange diese Art der Erzählung interessant bleiben kann. Bis jetzt zeichnet sich für den Hauptcharakter noch keine wirkliche Entwicklung ab (natürlich weil er das auch gar nicht möchte), aber weil man auch wenig von den Geschichten der anderen Jungs/Männer sieht, bin ich gespannt, ob es nicht bald etwas langweilig wird, wenn das reine Aufzählen der Klischees seinen Charme verliert. Ich vermute der rote Faden wird so ein bisschen die Geschichte seines Bruders sein, die wir über mehrere Bände verfolgen werden?

It holds up a mirror to the BL genre by poking fun at all the clichés and showing how absolutely absurd some of them can be. I was a little afraid that the whole thing might seem condescending towards BL fans or have homophobic aspects. But as far as I can tell, my concern was mostly unfounded.
The manga is very episodic and the individual little stories are quite short. I wonder how long this kind of narration can remain interesting. So far there is no real development for the main character (because he doesn't want there to be a development for himself, of course). We don't see much of the other guys'/men's stories, so I'm curious if it won't get a bit boring soon when the simple listing of the clichés loses its charm. I suppose the common thread throughout the upcoming volumes will be his brother's story as he sees it?

yet again writing my review for all the volumes on the first one
although i started this in like 2021? i reread it whenever i remember it cause its hilarious and because its ongoing so the chapters come out slowly. so although i've read this before i also reread it and logged it for may 16 cause i reread it then too if that makes sense.
super funny and i love how it brings up and makes fun of all the bl tropes that are popular and how all the characters are actually funny and interesting. i also like the recurring character concept. i lowkey ship the mc with hatano esp after he paid for hatano when they ran into each other at the cafe. the reason its lowkey and not highkey is bcs idk the age difference between them? like mc is in college and hatano is in high school so i would ship it if it was a one or two yeear gap (hatano in the 11th or twelfth grade and mc in first year of uni) but i feel iffy abt anything larger than that. idk if thats relevant i just felt like saying it cause i think it every time i reread

it feels like i've been following this one since forever ago and maybe i have and now it's going to get a live drama!? will be rereading soon but if you want to read something hilarious that criticizes all the trashy cliches and...just trash in BL manga then this is it! we have our protagonist who one day realizes he lives in a BL world and he tells himself he most definitely WON'T be living the BL life. it's super funny but it does move slowly and maybe i ship him with the younger brother's beau....really the only other recurring character (minus the brother) and possibly the next character who has a "developed" personality (right next to the main), lol

I liked this but also got a little bored reading it. It’s just going through a bunch of bl scenarios and I like the concept but the main character is meh which is the point but I feel like he could be a little more something. Every time there’s a new scenario I’m left wanting because you don’t get to see it play out and I’m more interested in their stories than this one. I think it’d also be more interesting if there was a main plot. So far all the MC is trying to do is avoid being caught up in a bl but like why is he suddenly in this bl world? He’s not trying to figure that out and he’s too busy trying to avoid being in a bl that he’s not actively looking for a girlfriend so I just feel like this story is lacking something.

No creí que fuera a gustarme mucho. Pero es divertido.
El protagonista se da cuenta que vive en un mundo de bl y claramente él es un heterosexual en toda regla (ya veremos si así será hasta el final 🕵♀️). Así que me divertí leyendolo, y más lo fue al ver los cliches de los bl y como el prota lo narraba e incluso tenía sus estrategias para evitar que le pasaran 😆.
Sí, definitivamente no tiene una historia compleja, vemos la vida casual del prota(no recuerdo su nombre jaja) que es muy tranquila mientras a su alrededor pasan todos tipos de clichés, y cuando percibe que será atrapado en una de ellas usa todas sus capacidades para evitarlas.
Es un manga muy divertido, tener a un chico heterosexual como protagonista en un mundo de BL puede ser una premisa muy divertida.
Aunque me queda la duda es cómo avanzará la historia.

Clever, knowledgable, and hysterically funny.
The premise is fantastic and well-executed. The author clearly loves BL tropes and doesn't insult or demean the subject matter.
The main character is very likeable and considerate of others (and his beloved cat), even though his actions are limited to what he can do without setting off 'couple' flags. He doesn't show disgust or contempt towards other characters, even where his views/preferences differ greatly from theirs.
The series covers tropes in a tight episodic format that is mostly self-contained, but also introduces and develops returning/regular characters.
Highly recommended for those who enjoy meta-commentary and don't take their own love of BL too seriously.
