Yes, yes, yes, yes!!!! OMG this book the second part to Summer’s and Enzo’s story was the icing on the cake. Everything that happened was like geez. I thought that was the end to them and that, that was it, but nope so much more had to come. I couldn’t believe what I was reading and what Summer’s dad was doing, not even when Enzo’s dad was murdered. Thought that mafia men were all this and that, but nope. I was also astounded by what Summer did and with no remorse, she is an awesome girl. I was sad to hear the last of their story but so glad that I would get to here a little about them in the next book to the Verona Series. I can’t wait to read about the New York Princess Maya and Luca.

For those of you who read Cruel Summer, you know that it ended on a cliffhanger and as such this one starts on a cliffhanger. Whilst it could potentially be read as a stand-alone, I’d have to say it would be much better enjoyed read as a duet to fully understand the storyline and character arc. So if we start with the cover, this another great cover for the series. Both Summer’s and Enzo’s covers are exactly how I imagine them and you can understand why Enzo is considered an eligible bachelor. There is a lot of character progression in this story. Whilst I loved Amber, Summer and even Enzo in the first book, I warmed to Ryan, Maya and Luca in this one. Have to say I’m still on the fence about Dante, though he is loyal to his family, so I’m hoping that he redeems himself in further books.
For anyone reading this book for the first time, go do yourself a favour and look up Ferrari Enzo on the internet before commencing reading (the car not the person). There were a few times I was confused (you probably won’t be) where Enzo refers to the “Enzo” (and no he isn’t referring to himself as the royal “we”), he is in fact referring to his Father’s favourite car, which is a limited edition Ferrari. Only 400 were ever made between 2003-2004 and one was on the market in 2017 for $12M. It’s actually quite a fascinating titbit of information. I love that the Author (well done Melinda) has woven through her books, little snippets like these (right down to drinks), which further demonstrate the wealth and elitism of Enzo’s world.
During this story, you got to understand Enzo better. I’m with Summer on this, if you are going to be involved and fall in love with a psycho, let him be your psycho and embrace the lifestyle. Looking forward to the next book in the series and hopefully we get to revisit with all of these characters again as I’d really like to know how Enzo fares moving forward.

Enjoyed!
The bones of a great story are here. It IS a great story. I actually liked book 2 slightly more than book 1 and that usually doesn’t happen for me.

Summer stepped up more in this book and wasn’t as naive. Her jump to accepting Enzo’s world seems a little fast, but all in all, works.
I feel for Enzo here, but he teeters a little too much in saying he enjoys his work but then having regrets or overwhelming feeling about it later. Not a huge deal to me as we all have to have outlets for our feelings, just curious as to why he feels the way he does later.
This book needs some edits. I don’t feel that the mistakes take away from the story though.
I am definitely excited for book 3 and learning about Maya!

Well well we’ll... it’s seems Enzo has stepped up and not just with his family situation but also with Summer.. he’s proved who he is and what he is will never hurt her again.. she comes into her role as well... I freaking love Enzo and his story needed to be told..
I can’t wait to read Mayas story .. Luca, Amber, Dante, Jake and Mitch.. I really love all these characters and I need their story too okay? Okay!! I really loved the first book butttttt this book is incredible..I just fell for this world so hard..

This the second novel in the Verona Academy world. This one focusing more on Enzo. He is a mafia prince and
I loved this book, even more than the first. I read a lot of books, and a lot of them follow similar storylines. What I adored about this novel was that the male lead, Enzo, is by no means a “good” man. In many ways he is a psychopath. He is not the reluctant killer, but rather he is what he is. This was his destiny, and although he may not love it, he does own it.
I look forward to the third book in the Verona Academy world. It will be fun to learn a bit about Maya.

Crashed
I enjoyed reading this, Melinda knows how to capture your attention and keep it. Enzo and Summer definitely grew up in this book. Summer wasn't as naive as she was in the first book and Enzo accepted who he was without actually letting it define him. I book did crash towards the end but still great

Oh man, that can’t be the end?
I honestly preferred this book to the first. I felt that the story has more places to go and it ticked all my mafia love boxes. I’m hoping that there will be a sequel at some point as I’ll definitely be happy to find out what happens with these two. And even a little more about those sexy AF cousins

ENZO…Holy Hotness!!!
Get yourself someone who loves you hard like Enzo loves Summer! These two are amazing. Another incredible book by Melinda Terranova! This girl can write! She writes incredible passion, incredible storylines and incredible push back and forth. She has you entertained from the very first page. This was amazing!!! A must devour!

LOVE THIS SERIES

Behind the mob prince
This is the second book in the series. This book stood out from most in that it was mainly from Enzo’s point of view. Things change within the mob and seeing it from Enzo’s point of view gave that new perspective of who he is. I enjoyed reading this book.

Love Summer and Enzo
Summer leaves the academy to take a break and Enzo is not happy. He has a lot going on and is mad as hell, he wants to make her suffer. Can they be together? Great characters and storyline Highly recommended Amazing Book. There are so many twists and turns.

Love Enzo so vicious and cruel but also soft... but only for one person ! Love Summer and how she is coming out. A few twists and turns wasn’t expecting but loved ! Love the girls, Great book!

Good story
It was a good love story that I enjoyed reading. Had a few grammatical errors and the last chapter of the book was all bold with some words cut off.
