Read for my toddler's nap time. A good rhyming story to teach kids to choose good positive things to do. Good diversity. Cute illustrations.

I really liked the meaning in this book and the illustrations are top-notch. They look like something from a Pixar film! This is a good read for kids and adults. I will be a little sad giving this one away to my nieces.

My Magical Choices is a beautiful book showing that you have the power and choice towards how you react and behave in situations, the magic to be you.
On each page it starts with 'I choose' which children can be encouraged to repeat. I think this is a really lovely idea as the more they repeat it the more they'll believe it's true! The book has a range of things children could choose to do shown in a positive light like be honest, be generous, be tidy. With each choice there is a little rhyme which is a very fun way to get the message across to the children as they love rhyming books.
The illustrations are gorgeous with a range of characters showing examples of these choices throughout the book. On some pages we get to see a negative (e.g. an item broken by football) but the positive is always much more noticeable which is great as it children understand and see a good choice made by the character.
This is a fantastic book which demonstrates lots of positive choices children could make and encourages them to think about the magic they have. A brilliant and inspiring read for young children.

Once again Becky Cummings delivers a completely positive and powerful children's story in "My Magical Choices." The story highlights several virtues such as responsibility, helpfulness, patience, confidence, generosity, calmness, bravery, forgiveness, sportsmanship, gentleness, friendliness, and honesty. The main lesson from the story is that even some of life encounters may be difficult and hurt our spirits; however, we make the choices in the end to how we deal with the situation for better or worse. Cummings' does a great job with the rhyme scheme to help parents and young children remember and say the story affirmations. The illustrations are beautifully drawn by Zuzana Svobodova that add even more magic to the already magical story. I am recommend this book for everyone as the positive virtues and affirmations will never expire.

I highly recommend this sweet book about making good choices. It teaches you to say, "I choose" and then say something nice. Choose what you do. This great message is, That Magic Lives In You!!!!

Just as “My Magical Words” did, “My Magical Choices” starts each page with an affirmation, a decision the child can make - I choose to be kind, I choose to be forgiving and talks about how the child can fulfill these statements.
This book has beautiful, full-page and vibrantly colored illustrations and a fun rhyming scheme.
I enjoy reading The Magic of Me series as much as my children. Highly recommend.

(5☆ Would recommend & would read again)
This might be the best children's book I have read in a long time! So good! The pictures are beautiful, colorful, and engaging. The use of rhyme & color choices in the wording are great ways for kids to learn & to focus on key points. The story is fantastic from cover to cover & I absolutely love the tips for parents in the back of the book. I highly recommend this book!

This books provides the perspective of many different choices a child can make. Being responsible and making good choices and explaing how they make those choices and why. This book is helpful in the classroom for children to learn different choices they can make and to believe in themselves. This is a super cute book for children to get ideas of what they can do throughout their days to make good choices.

This picture book is all about making positive choices. Each two-page spread introduces a positive attribute such as patience, generosity, or being helpful. Rhyming couplets are then used to explain ways to incorporate that action into your life. This is a nice way to introduce children to the idea that they have choices and their choices will guide their actions. However, so many attributes are introduced, I doubt children will remember them all.

Brilliant Book About Behaviour
I came across this book first and it's so brilliant that I can't wait to go and find the others in the series now. I love how the book shows the reader that they are in charge of their emotions and how we act. As a teacher this is a great storytime and should be on every classroom bookshelf. Beautifully illustrated with rhyming text too!

Making Right Choices...
...is what this book is about. A great little book with very cute illustrations that teach children that they make the choice to be who they want to be. From being kind, gentle, and expressive, this book shows that life can be as beautiful as you choose it to be. Very cute.

Cummings again offers options and information for younger readers about their lives. They can choose how they feel and what they do. Terrific family read aloud. Readers can read after their adult and add statements on how they can be responsible, etc.
The illustrations are beautiful and add to the positive attitude in the text.

My children love these little books. They thoroughly enjoy each and every story, as if they are all unique and individual without any cause for similarity among them. Even though sometimes, they might seem tedious and repetitive to me as a parent, I do enjoy being able to read short-stories to my children that are clean and respective.

Promotes mindful choices
Reading this book with my daughter gave me an opportunity to introduce her to some valuable new vocabulary— generous, confident, and honest. My Magical Choices teaches that children can choose to have these (and other) positive traits.

Great book about choices for kids. Especially in these challenging times. My only critique would be on the illustrations. It's unfortunate there were no African American children depicted. They need to see more of themselves in these great children's books.

We own a couple of Becky's books and all of them are fantastic. Not only are the illustrations beautiful and colorful, the message is equally as great. This is a great series to add into any child's library.

Becky Cummings has written uplifting and important messages with her rhyming poetry. Zuzana Svobodova's illustrations are bold, colorful, and fun as they enhance the message of children making the most of their personal choices. Choices that have the potential to benefit everyone.
