This book series was quite an interesting read. It took a while to get through the first few place. There’s a lot to take in so let me break this down:
1. The first book starts off slow and is actually hard to read at times due to the Three and Eve an how despicable they are. They’re so indifferent to the loss of lives. They sacrificed all of those warriors to the Morgoss.
2. This one’s much better. Sam begins to step up to the plate more.
3. The third one gets really interesting. Vrill’s kidnapped during a mission to retrieve one of the Three’s hearts. The journey they go through was pretty interesting. So much smoke and mirrors. This’s when the Three begin to change their ways.
4. The fourth one is one of the best. By this point, Eve and the Three are really starting to change their ways for the better. By this point, Sam and his friends run the tribe, not the goddesses anymore. They even have a dragon.
5. The fifth and final book is the best of the series. It’s the best way to end. The final showdown and a pretty good one. The climax is a little brief but by this point, I was ready to finish it. Now that I finished it, I can say that it was pretty good. Sam seemed more self-assured which considering all he has to go through is a huge step up. He still has his doubts which is understandable. He’s also crowned king at the end after all.
In conclusion, this book series was a unique ride. It was gory and full of suffering, but it also showed bonding during tough moments and the sex scenes. They’re so many and they’re done well. Slow and sensual. If you like Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Action-Adventure, you like this. It is a long read though, just be warned.

The first three chapters I thought were pretty good. Then something horrible happened. It was as if the person writing started reading a magazine from the 70s that had pictures of inappropriately clad women that had letters from men describing their fantasies. The author used that as the story line and it went on and on and on and on I got to the point where I was skipping past all the smut in seeing if the story developed. It kind of developed. But the bottom line it was just horrible and it could’ve been a super story.
I loved this series. I will be looking for more of author Sam Ryders works. If you’re a fan of violent storylines with harem respires and some comic breaks then you’ll love it too
