About the author

After working in production art for stop-motion animation for 10 years and drumming in several heavy rock bands, including Brave the Breakdown, and the bay area punk band Love Equals Death, John set his sights on finally finishing the story he'd spent more than half of his life working on. His first novel, Mere Mortals, the first chapter of the Mere Mortals Saga, was released in 2019. John is an avid painter and sculptor, and currently resides in Los Angeles.

This is a great story of dark fantasy. It is full of suspense and it's hard to put down. I highly recommend it.
