I’m Charlie Davies, and I’m… regretting certain decisions.
But never mind. If I throw myself into this case and don’t think about what happened, everything will work itself out. Probably. Maybe.
Oh god.
At least I’m not stuck at the office, in the presence of – uh, never mind. Mysterious events have been taking place behind the scenes at the local newspaper and it's my job to figure out who is responsible.
Between raising three pigs, solving the case, trying to figure out how to park my new minivan and worrying about what I’m going to do when my boyfriend gets back to town, I’ve got a lot on my plate.
Clare Kauter writes laugh-out-loud funny books across genres, including mystery, romantic comedy and paranormal fiction. She is known for her loveable hot mess characters, dubious puns and occasional (OK, frequent) inappropriate jokes.
Clare isn’t going to tell you where she lives, because she always finds it weird when other authors do that in their bio. Why would you care? Unless you’re a stalker, in which case it’s probably better if she doesn’t give you a head start.
At any given moment she’s probably sipping tea while hunched over her pink keyboard in a super attractive posture, writing her next book and snorting like a piglet at her own jokes.
Clare posts regularly on her blog – drop by and say hi!
Loved this book for so many reasons, cracked up laughing a lot! Charlie's inner dialogue is hilarious, as well as her lack of filter when interviewing suspects. The relationship changes in this one were what I had expected (and hoped for!) and there were some aww moments, which I loved just as much as the funny ones. I swear each book in this series is better than the last, so I can't wait for the next one!
Loved as always, all of Clare's work. I entirely can't wait for the next book! Do yourselves a huge favour and check out all of her series, they're all fantastic!
All I can say is...finally!! I've been waiting for this to happen forever! I did miss Will and Eli, though. They weren't really in this book, and Topher wasn't much either. That's ok, though...totally worth it!
