Brown Eagle was a young handsome Seminole warrior. The second warrior for the village, Bear, had gone to the Cherokee mountains looking for his friend Alligator and came back with a very beautiful maiden as his wife. Brown Eagle wanted the same thing. He wanted a beautiful woman to be his wife. He did not care for the Seminole women; their skin was darker than his. He found out that his cousin was Cherokee, and he went to his mother and asked if he was her true son. She finally admits that he was traded from the Cree to be her son. He too, is Cherokee. He makes it his mission to find his true mother and father. He also wants a beautiful Cherokee woman to be his wife and to mother his children. He leaves on a quest to find his family and his future wife. What he finds on the trail to North Carolina is a shock to everyone but one that he comes to love. Will Brown Eagle find his family? Will he find his true love? What village is he supposed to be from? All these questions will be answered in this book.
