Wife of one. Mom of three plus a Beagle.

Well, at least that's how I'm described in the confines of my everyday life.

Writing has always been second nature to me. I spent my childhood creating short stories and my collegiate years writing for the campus paper (Go TERPS!) Jump twenty years to the present--I'm still writing. At my day job I spend most of my time writing capability briefs, white papers, proposals--you name it.

Then one day it hit me. It was time to access my own creative power and bring to life the characters lurking in my mind.

I hope you enjoy my first book, Beautiful Nightmare. It has everything you'd look to find in a paranormal romance-urban fantasy-new age novel. Vampires. Wolves. Love. And so much more!

Written Review Of "With Heart Like Fire: A Beautiful Nightmare Short Story" By L.C. Son

Available On : Amazon
Pages : 14
Genre : Short Stories

Its A Short & Amazing Story And It Has Only 3 Chapter & Its Also A Fast Pace. The Story Is Very Engaging & Once You Start Reading You Can't Put It Easily.

The Vocabulary Of The Book Is Good & The language Of This Book Is Little Hard So If You're Regular Reader Than Only You Should Pick It Up. The Author Has Narrated This Story Very Nicely.

The Cover Of The Book Is Also Amazing & I Really Loved The Cover.

Overall The Book Is Nice & I Highly Recommend This Book To All The Readers.

Fantastic Short!

I loved this little glimpse of Decaux. His heart bleeds for his lady love and I just have all the feels for him. I hope he gets a hea at some point. He's dark, wicked and full of love. Just the type of vampire we all want to see have their rise from the Ashes story.

More Please!

Wow! What a heart wrenching and harrowing read! You will want more of this short story. It is a great prelude to Beautiful Nightmare! It's also a nice little tie in for Hearts Eclipsed! If you are Team Dalcour (like me), you'll want to learn more about his brother Decaux!

The short heart wrenching backstory of Decaux Marchand, about his lost love... and the beginning of the estrangement from his brother... that lead him up a dark path...

Beautiful and sad

It's a beautiful yet sad short story. I felt the character's pain as he detailed how they took his love away and killed her. I felt his rage and heartbreak while he took revenge before his end. Just wonderful writing, and I look forward to more from the author.

Great short story

Great story! I’ve read Beautiful Nightmare and this was a great insight into Decaux and why he is the way he is. It touches on race and prejudice and brutality.
