Unremarkable but also really sweet and charming. Loved the grandpa-granddaughter bond and the cheerful day at the apple orchard. Illustrations have a hint of old-fashioned style without feeling "old timey." Good choice for an apple-picking themed book for this age group and the fairly low price tag.
