♥♥ A small town murder mystery romance. Based on a modern-day Cinderella story / Billionaire Romance ♥♥
★ Sutton- I know for a fact that nothing in this life comes free. When you live in a rundown trailer on the wrong side of town. You know a thing or two about hunger, fear, and despair. Ever since Mama passed away, I have gotten along just fine. I go to work, keep my head down, and do my best to stay out of trouble. But he always seems to find me... trouble, that is.
When Mr. Hot-shot New York turned up telling me that I had inherited a bunch of money, I laughed in his face. I knew down to my toes that something had to be wrong. Nobody, nowhere, no-how had ever gone out of their way to leave me so much as a dime. This was far too 'happily ever after' for my liking. I just wished that he wasn’t so insistent… -or clearly the best looking man I'd ever seen. -or smelled so darn good. - or easily my greatest mistake waiting to happen.
★ Mark- I was groomed to take over the boss’s company. I’ve worked, no slaved, for years making Sutton Industries the most lucrative, sought after, and most coveted fortune five hundred company in New York. Then out of nowhere, the old man tells me on his death bed--no less, that he has a long lost daughter. Not only was I tasked with finding the girl, I was also expected to hand over half the company. My damn company! Well, I found her. Living in the middle of Hillbilly Hell, working as a waitress, and living in a single wide. The sharks on Wall-street would eat this chick for breakfast. How was I supposed to bring this girl up to task when she didn't even own a pair of shoes that didn't once belong to somebody else? This girl is trouble. Walking away would be the sane thing to do. But there is something vulnerable about her. I can't put my finger on it. Won't put my finger on her, no matter how badly I am itching to touch her. I hated being the nice guy. It wasn't in my DNA. This was a fun weekend read. I finished it in one day... Lovely modern-day cinderella romance with a twist.
I love that the characters evolved as the pages turned... the pacing was great... the overall storyline isn't something new but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
It's swoony and sexy... There are parts that will pull on your heartstrings but it's an overall easy-read.
If you're a fan of Karina Halle, Mia Kayla, Meghan Quinn and Rachel Van Dyken, then this is the book to pick up next.
First time reader of Ms Cinders, I’ll definitely be reading the rest of this series and looking further into her library. This book leaves you feeling good and I struggled to put it down and go to work. Some of the quirkiest characters can be found within the pages of Sutton’s CEO. I found myself laughing out loud, a tear rolled down my cheek as I read this story. Fell in love with a heroine who was genuine, kind, a good friend, but she was sassy and fierce at the same time.
Sutton was the daughter of a crack whore, living in a trailer park. Somehow she didn’t let any of this jade her inner beauty, she carried on with the life she’d been dealt. She was guilty and tarnished by association, the town folk treated her with disdain. Thankfully she had a few people she could still count on. Mr Williams strolled into her life and turned it upside down. With news of a father she had never met, she travelled to the city with Mr Williams. Sutton had zero tolerance for bullsh#t, took time to stop and talk to people...she was a breath of fresh air.
Mr Williams was the newly appointed CEO of Sutton Enterprises. One of his first tasks was to bring the daughter his boss had just located to the city and show her the ropes. He was appalled at the way people look down at her and how they spoke to her. His privileged life was jaded by his family, thankfully he’d been given opportunities and had met Mr Sutton. Being witness to Sutton blossoming in the corporate environment was more than he could of hoped for. She had an ease about her, that made people trust and believe her without any effort. Sutton was his little piece of sunshine, in what had been a shadowed existence.
So we meet Sutton who is waitressing in a bar and being treated like crap. She has never had an easy life, her mother was in alcohol and drugs and the responsibility fell on Sutton to be able to survive. Now Sutton is all alone since her mom passed away and Gabriel whom she thought she knew since she has known him all his life is not who he thoughts he was, luckily for her that Mark Williams comes to inform her that she has inherited some money but she would have to come and learn the business she now owns and put some time and learn about it, she can get it all or some, her decision.. And then we begin.

Sutton's CEO was a satisfying read from start to finish. Sutton is cheeky, tough, vulnerable, and kind hearted, and has grown up on the wrong side of the tracks, nothing has ever come easy for her. Then Mark walks into the bar she works at and tells her her billionaire father has passed away and left her an inheritance. This book kept me entertained from start to finish, with laugh out loud moments, small town drama, and the banter between Sutton and Mark was absolutely incredible. A beautifully written story that I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend, I can't wait to read the next book in the Otterville Falls series.
This was such a sweet story. I loved the characters and the little bit of mystery in it. Definitely plays on your emotions and has some nice steamy scenes

Excellent characters and excellent story from the beginning to the end. 4,5 The story is quite unpredictable due to the turn of events towards the end of the story. The story is very well written, exciting hot and once started, I could not put the book down because I did not expect at all the more dramatic turning point in the events of the end of the story around the heroine. The summary indicates a somewhat Cinderella-like story, but I find that it is rather "The ugly duckling" or the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly, because it is this kind of evolution that we discover for the heroine Sutton, who lives hidden in a pretty shabby small town and spreads her wings when she leaves it. Sutton lives in a trailer in a lost city, with a job in which she is not appreciated and people who permanently devalue her or take advantage of her generosity because her mother was the prostitute of the city. But when Mark comes to her, he reveals to her who his father was and that she is the heir to a huge fortune that she can inherit if she comes with him. Sutton discovers another life, but above all she opens up, builds real friendships and she gets closer and closer to Mark. But the small town from which she came out, catches up with her in an unforeseen way, again upsetting her life. I did not know this author and I really liked her style. If you've read any of S. Cinders books, then you come to the table expecting a sassy female heroine with a bit of vulnerability, a bit of backbone, a bit of temper, a whole lot of attitude and a HUGE heart and Sutton is by no means a disappointment. She is everything I just knew I would be given. Bless her heart, she's grown up on "the wrong side of the tracks" where the preacher refers to her mama as a bicycle every time he sees her. Not only that, but she is blamed for every sin her mama supposedly committed, and the list is long. Then out of the blue the best looking man she's ever seen comes to the bar she works at to tell her about her daddy being rich and leaving her an inheritance. Really? She no longer believes in happily ever afters, she's seen the writing on the wall. Besides, this Mark person is grumpy! This story will have you entertained and engrossed. S. Cinders has brought a completely new twist to an old Cinderella story. One with all the emotions and drama of a small town, including the old women who shock so easy, and a murder along the way. This has a happy for now ending but with it being the first book in the "Otterville Falls" series, I'm sure we'll hear more about them and I, for one, can't wait.
Sutton’s CEO by S.Cinders A baby born on the wrong side of the blanket grows up on the wrong side of the tracks. What ever Sutton does she gets blamed for her mother’s sins. Then one day in walks Mark at the crappy bar where she works and proceeds to tell her that her father who has passed away is a billionaire and has left her a sizeable inheritance, with stipulations!!! Sutton moves to the big city to try her hand a being a business mogul, can she be what the business needs her to be with Mark guiding her?. Can she navigate the shark infested waters that is Wall Street? Unexpectedly a visitor turns up and tells Sutton about what is happening back home and demands she fix it! Throw in two scandalous old ladies, a rascally old man, a murder and you have a little bit of mayhem going on!! This book had me laughing and giving me all the feels all at the same time. S.Cinders has written this beautifully and with thought. The characters are well rounded and the story was always moving forward. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wIt to see what else Otterville Falls has in store for us!!!
Hilarious! It's great when the characters make the story. I had to stifle my laughter. Sutton, grew up with massive abuse, but she chose to live a life of generosity and kindness and no bitterness. Life's challenges has given her a no nonsense common sense approach that helps her in the business world. Mark Williams is a rigid stuck up business man who had an equally childhood. This was a good story that unexpectedly is not just a love story. There are a few intriguing plot twists that while serious, lead to absolute hilarity. Can Sutton handle being a billionaire? Will having money change her? Can Mark let the business man go and just have some fun? Will they be able to open their eyes and accept the emotional good fortunes that befall both of them? Good story. Hilarious. Otterville Falls for being such a small community, has a lot going on! I received an ARC from Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book was hotter than HOT! I received an ARC copy of the book and I couldn’t be more pleased with it!
Sutton came from nothing. Living with her single mom who had demons AND problems of her own, she learned at a young age that her mother was all she had. The people she met in only used and abused her as they seen fit!
Mark was a billionaire and had it ALL, the looks, the money, and the power. Yet he was still missing something.
When the two collided in Sutton’s bumpkin hometown neither were ready for the curve balls life was about to throw their way!
This book was filled with secrets, love, lies, comedy, and unanswered situations that you will want to stay tuned to!
S. Cinders has brought us a great storyline with characters that capture our hearts with their own stories!
This was an awesome read! I can’t wait for more!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I think Sutton is amazing to have turned out how she did with what she's had to live through, and then to pick herself up time and again after Mark comes into her life, she's awesome in my book. I loved watching her become who she's always been capable of being and making some great friends along the way.
I love Mark, he's amazing, sweet, funny, loving and a man who will stop at nothing to protect his woman. They are so good together and so good for each other, I can't wait to read more about their relationship.
This story ends on a HEA for now and there are questions left unanswered so I expect them to be answered in the next book and over the series. I am really looking forward to reading part 2 and am enjoying a new author.

Entertaining 4 ½ stars - Normally, I would have been annoyed by Sutton's doormat behavior but the way the author presented Sutton's personality as kind-hearted, smart, sassy, humble, loving and as a fighter and survivor made it palatable. Mark is a decent billionaire which was surprising. His character didn't dwell on denial of feelings. It's a very entertaining story with a bit of mystery. It has good supporting characters, Candice and Knox, who I would like to read about in their own book. The folks of Otterville Falls are amusing. There's steamy sex and tingly romance. The plot is simple but the author's writing style keeps you interested. I would very much like to read book 2! [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]
This is a humorous, entertaining, and emotional read. Mark and Sutton met when he arrived in her hometown on business. At first, he comes across as standoffish but that's not surprising given his upbringing. Whilst she's a strong, loving woman who hasn't had an easy life, her childhood was terrible. But she's survived and turned into a sassy smart-mouthed woman.
Once they meet her world as she knows it is turned upside down by what Mark has to say, it will never be the same again. I enjoyed seeing Sutton worm her way into Mark's heart after which his whole personality changed and he became a much nicer person.

Modern take on Cinderella, a rags to riches story Very entertaining read, reads at a fast pace. Sutton has been poor all her life, she's had every disadvantage you could think of yet her heart was as big as possible, she took in "strays" and treated them like family, a rough family but her family. On day a stranger comes in town and her life changes. her unknown father left a sizable inheritance and all she has to do is leave her little town and go to New York, oh did I say the stranger was sexy, controlling and Sutton's new partner in her deceased father's company. Mark likes control, but Sutton puts in a whirlwind into his life. This read has humor, plenty of heat and some mystery, all making up a great read! Can't wait to read the next book in the series!
This is a good book - it starts out a romance but ends in an unsolved murder mystery, leaving a lot of unanswered questions. Mark and Sutton are ok characters but they needed to be more developed. Mark had childhood issues and Hollingsworth (Owner of Sutton Enterprises) took him in and gave him a good life. Mark has worked hard at Sutton Enterprises, hoping to take over the company one day, until Hollingsworth reveals a secret on his deathbed that changes everything. Sutton has had a terrible childhood, been degraded by everyone in town and has worked hard for everything she has- even though it isn't much. Mark and Sutton are total opposites and their banter will have you laughing. This story does draw you in and is interesting but some parts are just to unbelievable.
This is a great story by S Cinders. I love reading anything by her. I couldn’t put this story down. I couldn’t wait to see what happened next to Sutton and Mark. Sutton has grown up in a town that looks down on her mother and her. While working one day she discovers that her father left her something. Mark is the CEO of the company that her father started. He is determined to follow the will and give her a better life after seeing what she deals will. They don’t always see eye to eye on things. Will they be able to work things out?

I loved this book! This book features Mark, who has been groomed to be the CEO and heir apparent of Sutton Industries, and Sutton, a poor waitress with an unknown billionaire father. Based upon his death bed request, Mark is tasked with finding his boss’s illegitimate daughter who is to inherit half of Sutton Industries. He meets with Sutton with the intention of buying her half of the business, but events change his plans. I highly recommend this well written book with its great characters and unusual plot which includes fun banter, unexpected twists, suspense, and steamy romance.

Sutton's CEO: An Otterville Falls Novel by S. Cinders is a phenomenal contemporary romance. Ms. Cinders has provided readers with a fantastic story loaded with drama, humor, smokin' hot sexy bits and a side of suspense. Sutton is contacted by the CEO of her unknown and now deceased father's company. She learned she was instarich and was whisked away from Otterville. Mark Williams is the CEO of the company Sutton's dad started and located Sutton to inform her she now had choices. I enjoyed reading Sutton's CEO and look forward to reading more from S. Cinders. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.
I read a print copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Wow, what an amazing beginning to a new series! This book was my first read by S. Cinders and let me just say that it went way beyond what I was expecting to read. From the sassy and witty but also vulnerable Sutton to the no nonsense and often cynical Mark, the fireworks were going off from the first chapter and I couldn’t get enough. There were laugh out loud moments, fan yourself hot moments and even moments were you tear up and need a second to regroup. This story was such a wild ride and I can’t wait to go again in book two!!
She lives in a run-down trailer park in a small town. He is a hotshot from NY come to find her and tell her about her absent father’s inheritance. She must learn to be CEO of a multimillion-dollar corporation.
She doesn’t know about being rich, but she knows the name of the bellman and pays attention to each person in her presence. Seems these two each have something to teach the other. A delightful read. Fully entertaining!!

This is the first book I've read by this author, I found it to be entertaining, a bit humorous and also emotional at parts. Sutton and her CEO, Mark have a strange beginning when he comes to her strange little town to explain about her father and the company.... Sutton's world as she knows it ia turned upside down. I liked Sutton as a character, she's a sassy smartmouthed woman. Mark is standoffish but as Sutton worms her way into his heart he softens and becomes incredibly likable.
Overall an entertaining way to pass the afternoon.
Another good offering from S Cinders. The characters are complex and interesting. Sutton’s story is somewhat familiar but the way she has responded to it is different. Max was a little surprising to me in a very good way. There is some humor and violence and lots of sex. The ending is a happy for now with the promise of more. I am glad I got to read this and am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

S. Cinders never disappoints!!! Sutton’s CEO is a sext, sweet easy Cinderella story that makes your heart happy.
Sutton is not living her best life but she is managing to the best of her ability with what she has. When a sexy swoon worthy Mark appears to tell her she was left a ton of money, it’s almost laughable.
I truly enjoyed this story, it has all the feels as well as characters you totally love. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves a good rags to riches story.
4 1/2 stars for this contemporary romance. There are two main characters. Sutton is a special person. No matter how mean or harmful people are to her, she still forgives and sees the best in them. She craves love and gives it freely. She’s from a small town and when Mark shows up in her life she will have her world turned upside down. Mark is all corporate and city. He will need Sutton to open his heart. Plenty of romance and hotness.
Loved this book! Lots of explicit love scenes, but also lots of chuckles. Sutton, the hillbilly, and Mark, the straightlaced CEO -- definitely a match made in heaven. And Sutton's friends in Otterville Falls are a bunch of nuts, Earl and Martha, elderly neighbors who are always at each other's throats, Mad Max, Alice and Reena, Knox, the sheriff, and Gabe, the owner of the bar. Wonderfully written characters and a great story. I can't wait to read the next book. You gotta read this!
