Della is still dealing with the fall out from her failed attempt to kill Victor Montalban. When she meant him, she had feelings for right off, they ended up spending time together. She left him and has not seen in months. Della has heard that there is another threat against his life again. Della will go to Victor to safe his life.
The meeting doesn't go as she hoped it would. The words and his action has proved to her that whatever they shared is over. Della doesn't care if he cares for her or not. As she realizes that she still has feeling for him. She will not let any hurt him.
Della will do whatever she can to save his life, but at what cost. There is something things Della was not expecting to uncover. When it is all said and done will Della and Victor come together or will their pride have them go separate ways

A good little story about Della, the High Priestess of her coven, and Victor her soulmate and a target of an assassination contract. This coven is very different from the the usual witch coven. They are escorts and high paid assassins with their services for sale. Della almost killed Victor six months ago because of a contract but at the last minute realized what she was feeling was a soulmate connection. They had hours together until words separated them possibly forever. When Della gets word of another assassination attempt she rushes to his side to warn and protect him.

These two need will face danger and need to figure many things out before they can open their hearts and find the way to their HEA.

I love this whole Unchained Hearts series and this is another fantastic addition to this series. Della is a witch and a assassin she was contracted to kill Victor Montalban who’s very much involved in organised crime but she couldn’t do it now he’s the mayor and going to be the next governor. There is another hit on him one Della has to stop but he hates her because the night she left Della left a scar on his throat and a scar in his heart. I loved this story it’s a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
I bought a copy of this book because like I said I love this series.

As I read the novella and discovered that the H was a Mafia boss and h was a leader of an escort agency I wasn't sure if I would enjoy this, as I prefer more traditionally 'good guys'. However, both characters had many positive features and I was pleased to find they got their HEA, although I'm not converted to bad guys. The background was sufficiently filled in by memories of the characters to allow for a more complete and entertaining story than the page length might otherwise allow.

I love this series and I really enjoyed this story by Fiona Starr. I couldn’t put it down. I was swept into the action from the first page.

Della is High Priestess of her coven and they have a special skill. That all changed when she took the contract to kill Victor. There was some thing about him that drew her to him. Victor is a former mob boss turned mayor. She couldn’t kill him then but won’t let anything happen to him now. Will she be able to keep him safe this time around?

I was captivated and held captive myself while reading this. Della and Victor have to count on each other but they're both so mistrustful, especially Victor after the first time they met. But it's a second chance story as well and all it takes is that pull the heart has towards your one and only and it's hard to resist. I enjoyed this so much.

I enjoyed this new "Unchained Hearts" dark paranormal read. It's a fairly quick read that keeps you hooked from the very beginning. This is one fast paced and heart pounding read. Della, a witch and deadly assassin, was sent to kill Victor, but instead releases him. No Victor, the mob boss who went good, gave his heart to Della. Now he is in danger. This is a nicely written and developed story with some danger, steam, secrets, betrayal and great twists and turns.

This is less then a hour read. We have Della who is a assassin witch. We have Victor who is mayor and dirty. When Della is commissioned to kill Victor she can't. What will the coven think of her? Will she lose everything? Will they not trust her? Victor can not forget Della. He is fighting his feelings for her? When they meet again what will happen?

Captive Witch is a quick, steamy romance between Della a powerful witch/assassin who was hired to kill Victor a former mob boss but instead of killing him she let him go. From the unexpected twists, magic, mystery, danger, betrayal and romance these two go through so much in this book. I look forward to reading more books in the Unchained series.
