*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Wren is pregnant by this point but in now way are they safe. They have been in hiding but events make is necessary for them to emerge for a short time before they wait out the birth. Afterwards the real battle begins as they take on the Council exposing everything they have been doing to everyone leading to one doozy of an ending. Wraps things up quite nicely I must say. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

Poor excuse for an RH Story series
There is only one sex scene in this entire series, and it's with only one of her reverse harem. One of the aliens has two dicks, but no sex scene. The only potential group sex scene gets interrupted, and not returned to.

Three stars is the best I could give.
I’m not really sure what to say about this...
To me ,story wise this was a mess. I only really saw any kind
of context about what life was life after the invasion late into this this section of the book. There was no real world building
here. We learned about what live was like in space slowly . Very slowly . We learned as the heroine learned and for a teacher she was both slow at asking questions and slow and see the need to learn more about the world around her.
Was this an RH ?
To me ? No. No, not really. Sex abs having a female to have sex w/was at the Cruz of this book ? Series ? I don’t know. What do you call a book that should be one book, that’s been cut and chopped up into three pieces and doesn’t really feel finished or satisfy ?
You have what feels like a young girl ( maybe 24-25 but feels much younger) snatched off a now dystopian sounding after an alien invasion. Aliens needing earth women. Don’t they always NEED us ?
With soo many “alien” races losing their women to wars,violence and various diseases, you gotta wonder after a while how the he’ll they’re any left to come attack us. Huh ?
Well I’m starting to wonder. Anyway,she’s snatched. Mainly because she ignored her instincts telling her they were trouble . She mouths off to them seeing they are insane. She’s used and abused. Rescued by some sweet Trads.
Now she seems to not have any instincts other than fear.
Honestly I didn’t love this chick . Didn’t hate her but didn’t love her. I left that to al, the sad,lonely little betas in this book to do that for me. All four guys rand around kissing her rear and telling her it was roses, were all seconds away from falling on their swords or phasers like Romeo if they couldn’t have her .
Wren wasn’t anything special in the slightest but all seem to act like she was special just for existing and gracing them w/ her presence
The pacing was ridiculously slow. Insanely s l o w. This was glacial . You have a virgin who’s . Never. Been. Kissed!
We don’t get a scene more than kissing til about 75% thru this and then just as she’s F I N A L L Y !!!! Finally telling these poor fools she’ll have them,it’s her turn to kill the monsters who took her begin w/ and suddenly we’re three or four months down the road .
She’s made captain just because her four betas want to please her..

When we left Wren and the guys they were entering pods to escape from the Athion ship coming to 'rescue' them. This was their only hope.
Now they've arrived on the pirate ship that came to help them, a huge vessel with an interesting character for a Captain. Ki'to'lok was one of the most powerful pirate captains with many and varied connections. After he gives Wren a tour of the ship he brings her to rejoin her men.
Raf, Vuk, Kilo and Kili were trying to figure out the next steps. With the Athions still out there, they were going to need a new ship and they aren't exactly cheap. They couldn't seem to agree on what they were going to be either, the only agreement was with regard to Wren. She would be their Captain and she was to be protected and loved by all of them. In order for her and them to be truly free they decided they needed to find and kill the Athions that were responsible for kidnapping and hurting her to begin with.
Kion shared a bit of a secret with them in the form of an inheritance he just has sitting there. It's more than enough for a ship and they transfer that to Wren since she is an unknown in the universe except for a few.
With their ship purchased they leave to start their own journey whatever that will be. As they tour their new possession, they come across a very interesting entity.
M’Hil’Ta-Kat’Orl the Forth, is essentially part of their ship and something all of them would have to get used to.
As Wren and her guys find their way together, what they look for finds them. In spite of being human, Wren begins to adjust to her new life mastering tasks she could never have dreamed of.
This book is fun, suspenseful, with simmer to sizzle. I hate to see this end, I love these characters so much!

Wren and crew arrive safely at Kit’s ship only to have to deal with the reality of their life now. Kion and Kili are now on the run forever from their own race. Vuk and Raf’s livelihood has been destroyed and they have little funds to start over. Wren has no home to call her own, but somehow has four men she does not know what to do with but she has all of these feelings for.
First things first: they need to get a ship. Then they need to figure out their future both professionally and personally. There is also the matter of the enemy still after Wren and the suspicious finding they across on their way to their new destination. Enemy or friend?
Skye MacKinnon closes the “Between Rebels” series with a stroke of genius in Chosen By Them (Peryton Press, 2020). It is going to be so hard to not give away any spoilers. Chosen closes with a focus back on Wren and where she is in her growth process. We have been on a journey with her and this is another huge growth spurt for her. It is fun, diabolical, and empowering.
MacKinnon’s choice of secondary characters are just as interesting as her main characters. I want to be friends with all of them and so will you. Cosplay takes on a whole new meaning when reading this particular book. I would love to see this illustrated. MacKinnon’s imagination in this book is off the charts and I went with her willingly.
Action, mayhem, romance, girl power, and some mystery...and it is all in one book? You cannot go wrong with Chosen By Them. ✶✶✶✶

As a brief summary, Earth was invaded by aliens called Trads and then saved by another group of aliens called Athions, two races that need females to survive. The story's heroine, Wren, learned the hard way in the first and second books that neither race of aliens can be categorized as "good" or "bad", because like humans, nothing is ever that black and white. She's abducted and abused by two of the "good guys" (Athions) and then saved by two of the "bad guys", the Trads.
This third and final installment was a satisfying conclusion to the "Between Rebels" trilogy. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but one thing I really liked about it was that while Wren needed help from her male rescuers, she was never portrayed as a completely helpless "damsel in distress" and is ultimately able to decide her own fate.
My only complaint about this trilogy is that each book ended on such a cliffhanger. Leading into another related story is one thing, but just stopping in the middle of the story and making readers wait for the conclusion seems wrong to me.

This installment was very well written and edited. The pacing was tight and exciting, the world building was top-notch, and the characterization was really good considering there was a heroine and three romantic heroes. This reverse harem romance is very slow burn and low heat, which was the only element I didn’t like. This novel has action and adventure elements, so it’s an exciting read. It has medium angst (internal conflict) and very high stakes (external conflict), which is my preference for the narrative structure of a romance novel. I recommend this serial to people who enjoy sci-fi, fantasy, or paranormal reverse harem romances with cliffhanger endings. Quite an enjoyable read.

Such a great ending to the series. I loved to see how the relationships with Wren and the guys played out. Especially with Kili, and whether Wren will forgive him and if she will include him as one of her men. Vuk, Raf and Kion all have had moments with her. When she thinks that she will be able to move, the two Athions that took her are back? Will she freeze or become the fierce woman she is and take control. This was beautifully written and something beautiful comes out of the tragedy. I am happy to sat that Wren gets her happily ever after.

Love the story, low on steam
I have this series a five star because the story was well rounded and we'll written. I loved how each character developed and became an integral part of the story. The only criticism I would make is I wish their was just more than one sex scene. You have four men at your back and call and we only get to see a glimpse into the sexual side of the relationship. It's a three book series and we waited till 48% into the third book before some action started.

Great conclusion
This is the 3rd book in the series and the conclusion to wren and her guys stories. This book was more chill than the first two books. In this book you really got to see the relationship building with her men which I really enjoyed.
The author did a fantastic job with this series especially for a series taking place mostly on ships she did a excellent job of paining a picture and infusing action into the story.

I liked this entire series. The characters came alive in the first book and continued on throughout the series. This book caps off everything to leave with a satisfying end. I loved her strength and feistiness. I enjoyed the changing dynamics between the characters and their own interpersonal thoughts. An interesting world was created by the author who has a great imagination. I enjoyed this book and this series.

Chosen By Them is the third and final book in the Between Rebels trilogy. Wren and the guys are sticking together as they take on their next adventure. Their story has been filled with tension, drama, danger, suspense, action, humor, unexpected twists and a good ending. This is a well written story with interesting characters and a good conclusion to the Between Rebels series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This was a really good short read that had nicely ended Between Rebels Trilogy.
The story starts where book two had left Wren and her men. And it put us in an exploring way right away. With getting to figure out what the flour if they will do next and how their relationships were evolving with every person at a different pace and with different needs/reasons.
Wren had grown up her thru this whole series and her men were exactly what was needed there.

Very good ending to this trilogy. I like that once she got past certain issue she wasn’t worried about their species but about each individual persons traits (good vs bad). Im really glad they didn't fight the relationship much before jumping into in and that the guys never really fought.

It was wonderful to see how Wren's journey through the galaxy comes to an end...well a certain end for some things and a certain start for others.
The intimacy levels increase throughout the book and I had to laugh at how these aliens sounded a lot like school boys in some aspects.
Looking forward to seeing what else the author releases this year.

Ok I am a book devourer I don't know what to say about this other than its well written! When ya think ya know what's happening ya don't! This is not my normal genre but I love Skye so took a chance on this series in book 1 and well I'm glad I did I have love loved LOVED the journey! It can be dark, it has some sweet moments and over all very great story telling! You need to read this series!!

Oh Laird! This series will be the death of me yet! Beautiful finish for some of my favourite aliens. And for Wren? The lucky duck! Not only does she get 4 strapping, wonderful “men” she gets a new career. A new ride. A bright and exciting future. Love love love this series so much!! I can definitely see myself rereading it in the future. 👽👽👽👽💁♀️❤️

Great conclusion to the trilogy. Wren is strong and brave. She is taken from Earth and suffered great pain and terror. She is saved by the Trads who care for her. The Trads ship is attacked and both ships crash. They end up having to learn to work together.

Fantastic story! Characters that will steal your heart. A storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat and glued to your kindle! For me it was a love- hate deal as the characters face their demons. You will feel their emotions and struggles. A definite must read.

This is the third book in the Between Rebels series and picks up right where book two left off. With plenty of action and adventure we watch as Wren and her crew deal with everything that is thrown a them and also deal with relationships between everyone. I can not wait to see what is in store for the next book.

Chosen by Them is the conclusion to the Between Rebels series. It’s an interesting and very well written story! I enjoyed how Wren’s mates completely adored her. This book was really fun to read because it’s exciting and fast paced. I definitely recommend this series!

Absolutely Fan-freaking-tastic 😁
This series is a wonderful kickass ride to read 😃. Awesome adventures, intense situations and yummy alpha males 😋. I really enjoyed this series. It was s good ending. I liked meeting the other pirate crew and getting some revenge. I do wish we had more alien sexy time and I really wanted to see what earth goods were in enthrall last ship! Overall, a fun series.

Wren is a captain now! What a great conclusion to this series. From the quirky eye patches, 4 guys, and finally taking out the garbage it was nice to see Wren face her captors. I hope to see these characters again! Space pirates!

I absolutely loved this trilogy, exciting from the getgo with a strong fiesty heroine and some loveable males that I fell in love with. Well written and nicely paced with some colourful secondary characters this is a fabulously wonderful read
