Cheesy adventure story of an alien invasion, where the earth’s remaining citizens are placed in peril, and must learn to fight back and survive. Yes it is, but it is also one of the best slam bang, and entertaining adventure alien invasion stories ever written. If you liked Battlefield Earth (and you know who you area), then this book is for you. Like Battlefield, I have gone back and read this books several times over the years since it was published and it has never disappointed. Perfect for those long winter evening where your just looking for a good story that is well told
