Hunted by the Mafia. Pursued by the Law. An escape story of split-second timing and long-term deception. Framed by a vindictive detective to snitch on her suspicious mob boyfriend, Ana Ferrari creates a complex web of concealment to elude dogged and deadly pursuers tracking her every move while under camera surveillance at home and work. She must disappear in plain sight or die. But success can be fleeting when the real danger is someone else also hiding in plain sight.
Crypsys was a great read, one that you look forward to getting back to. I could see binging this through in one sitting, well into sunrise the next day. The characters a so well defined, the plot realistic and plausible, and never a dull moment. There seems to be no connection of the title to the story of book I, but seeing how well thought out this plot is and how detailed the author's mind works, I am sure this will be evident by book III of the trilogy. That is the kind of writing I love. The author has two more novels of the trilogy: Royal Blue (II), and The Prism Codex (III). I look forward to book II.
I was attending a memorial service of a dear friend, who we miss so much, and was sitting next to her cousin at the reception and we started chatting about Sci-Fi and Cryptocurrency and what books were on our night stand. I had mentioned I had self published a couple of Sci-Fi novellas and he mentioned he had a friend who also self published a few books, one of which was about Cryptocurrency (The Prism Codex, Book III of the BB Wood Trilogy). Needless to say, I purchased all three.
