This book is not for the squeamish, for herein lies a killer who scares his victims to death!
The first day back on the job for Honor McVey becomes a race against time. A race to find a cruel, devious killer who is as invisible as Jack the Ripper. Why is he not seen on the CCTV cameras,?, how does he get in and out without being seen?, how does he know his victims innermost fears?, how can he be stopped? .....
Not only did I love the gruesomeness and sinister murders in this book, I also loved that it centred around Jack the rippers old haunts and I loved delving into Londons Victorian past.
This book hooked me from the very beginning and kept me intrigued till the very last page. It's a gritty, gruesome in your face thriller and I loved it!
Dean Crawford has done himself proud. Without a doubt, the best book I've read this year.
Not for the squeamish, but then again- what's a little fright now and then to get the adrenalin flowing?.....go on- read it!
