Wow! That's the only word that comes to mind. The characters come to life, as if you yourself were in their footsteps. A romance only the Universe could mastermind. A true twinflame soulmate connection between the two main characters written beautifully. You will not want to put the book down once you start reading! Can not wait for the sequel to this beautifully written story 💕

There were things about this story that I liked and things I didn't. But that is with any book.

I loved that Cole isn't your typical a-hole rock star. He is a gentleman. It seems odd to say that about a rocker, but he is. He courts Madi. He takes her for dates, he explains his past. The love letters, the songs, OMG!! More of him, please! He is the best character in this book hands down. I wish the book was told in his POV. How he saw things, how he wanted things to progress.

Cole - I’d wait forever for you, but 15 days is long enough.
“I must have you, Madi, devour you. I can’t wait another second.”
YES PLEASE!!
Be still my heart! Cole!! He's NOT like other rockers, he's in a class of his own and frankly, he made the book ok.

Madi to me never grew up. She might work in PR, but the way she acts and talks to her boss in the book, she is very immature. Maybe her immaturity had to do with the fact that she was married young and now a rockstar liked her. Who knows.

The location was New Orleans - love that town. However, I didn't get the NOLA vibe at all. I got the drunk girl's vibe. They were there to party, but that city is a party. Honestly, this story could have been set in Anytown, USA. The few details that were given were so scant, that it really didn't matter where the story was set.

I wouldn't classify this book as a humorous erotica. This is a new adult/contemporary romance. The few sex scenes weren't spicy/hot/intense. There were also many grammar and spelling mistakes that were distracting.

This book drew me in with its charming energy and I was immediately hooked. Madi is a sweetheart and Cole is the definitive rock star. I was right there rooting for them to get their happy ending. Can't wait for the next instalment!

Saucy read

This is sickly sweet, like a hallmark with sex, sometimes runs at a million miles an hour and the guy is just too good to be true but a nice story of love and lust with a crazy friend to boot, it has all the elements of a sexy read.

Tried, but had to stop about halfway through. It’s a trite read, as though 100 knockoff mommy porn books like 50 shades were read and then a book was thrown together. The grammar and spelling mistakes also made the book unreadable. Wanted to like but.........need something a bit more intelligent.

The two main female characters were in their mid 30s and they acted like a bunch of 21 year olds by shopping for inappropriate clothes, getting drunk, and calling each other words that I can’t write here as terms of endearment. It was embarrassing to strong women.

The story took place in New Orleans, Austin, London, and New York but with very little distinct geographic information about those four cities. The locale could have been Anytown, USA for that matter. A real hotel was mentioned but the authors totally made up something at the hotel that doesn’t exist.

The writing was average at best. It was full of grammatical and punctuation errors and had way too many exclamation points. Did the authors get it edited at all??

My ‘favorite’ part was the change in POV 80% into the novel. Up until then, the book had been written in the main female character’s 1st person POV. Then it switched to the main male characters POV. This was distracting and amateur.

The book ends on a cliffhanger. Let’s hope Book #2 is cleaned up!

I locked myself away to let myself enjoy Madi and Cole story. The pace was absolutely perfect. I felt like I was seeing each scene. Felt that instant attraction. Her friend Teagan sent me mixed vibes until you get her story, then you get her behavior.

Cole has a story too that is rough. I understood Madi's fears but she confused me, confident enough to wear skimpy outfits but then loves to test out her running shoes. Yes, she's been hurt but why do people run?

Now Cole and his determination. He remembers all the details and the measures he goes to just to show her he's in it and not just for se* would make a tape measure jealous.

Then I thought it was near the end and that's only halfway. The emotions are much more intense as they go to the next level. Tours and distance have nothing on that punch that comes at you...

Whoa, what a ride!

I couldn't put this book down. I read it all the way through in one sitting! 90 Proof will reel you in with its funny, quirky and relatable characters and if that's not enough, don't worry, things heat up fast with super sexy love scenes. You'll be wishing for your very own Cole Ramsay to romance his way into your heart! Fall in love with Madi and Cole but remember, love hurts.

Loved this book. I loved the characters and could relate to them. Made me feel like I was on a fun vacation with a close girlfriend. Loved the romance of the story, and it definitely was steamy at some arts. It is also very cool that the book was inspired by a real life rock star/musician.

The "Swooniest" !

If looking to have readers swoon after reading your utterly romantic love story, you two have achieved the "swooniest" ! My goodness what a rush to read this tale. Excellently done and the cliff hanger ending ... gah! (and I said exactly that out loud -- and I live alone), so I surprised myself doing this. Bring on the next instalment of your story, please and thank you -- ASAP! Reader in urgent need to know outcome of your story.

On a more serious note, your story was well written, easy to read, original, unique and flowed along well. Your characterizations were marvellous! This large cast of characters were all well fleshed out, realistic, some quirky, some harder to love but hey, this mirrors real life. From laughing at the main female character's best friend's antics, through to crying during angst driven scenes, I believe you two wrought plenty of emotional buy-in on this reader's part.

Totally unrealistic story of a rock-star and a newly separated woman.

And then towards the end of the book it swapped to his point of view? Why?

I ended up skimming quite a bit because I was bored and not invested in the story. I considered DNFing a few times; not because it was bad but because I really didn't care about the characters, their relationship, or what was happening. I wanted to see it through though and skimming was the only way I saw myself finishing.

Even though this book didn't really do it for me, it is the author's debut book and I saw a lot of potential with the writing. I will give this author a try again in the future if she writes more books. I look forward to seeing what she comes up with and anticipate it getting better and better.

Madi Fox wants a new life and a career. Men have only caused her pain and she has no desire to find someone or fall in love. Cole Ramsay is the lead singer of 90 Proof. He’s a bad boy that drives women crazy, only wanting a brief fling and nothing serious with a woman.

When Madi and Cole meet, their relationship is beyond what either wanted. Can Madi let herself trust a man after what she has been through? Is Cole willing to let go of his wild behaviors and settle for one woman?

I liked the way the author developed the characters. Cole quickly became my favorite. Grab your copy and see if these two can find a way to pursue their HEA!

This book is not a standalone, it ended with a big cliff hanger. The characters are very likeable, Madi is starting over, innocent easy going, with shocking news and is struggling to to re-start her life, redefine who she is. She has an awesome support system in her bff Teagan who is her polar opposite. She encourages Madi to get out more and during one outing she meets him...Cole an upcoming Rockstar. The pursuit is cute, romantic and makes you believe in love of first sight. The book is filled with sweet lovemaking, hope, lady luck and an unknown ending for now.

This if the story of Madi and Cole. Madi is a sweetheart and Cole is a typical bad boy rock star. They both have issues and baggage, can they make it work? Can they change their ways to make it work? Great story.

Holy friggin cliffhanger. I need part two ASAP. After a bitter divorce Madi isn’t looking for a man. On a trip with her bestie, she comes across the lead singer of the band 90 proof, Cole may be just the man to make her believe in love again. This book ends In a cliffhanger but I eagerly anticipate the next installment.

I thought the book was ok. I couldn't really get into the book even though it was alright. I think it might be the writing style that seems to just hit the surface of everything. Even though I thought it was ok, maybe you'll like it more than I did.

Madi is reeling from her divorce when her friend invites her to a 90 Proof concert where she meets Cole, the lead singer.
