Devin “Bone” Wallace is fresh out of prison and under orders from his parole office to find employment or be re-incarcerated. Devin’s not exactly a “people person” and he’s got zero computer skills, but that doesn’t stop him from applying at one of the most prestigious real estate firms on Florida’s Gulf Coast.
High-end real estate broker Teddi Mack’s life is selling eight-figure beachfront mansions to elite clients. In desperate need of an office receptionist, Teddi’s right-hand woman interviews a stunningly handsome tattooed biker who doesn’t mince his words. Despite his unconventional appearance for such a role, she hires him on the spot.
Devin ends up using his connections to help Teddi with a listing she’s on the verge of losing, and the two fall fast for each other in the process. But Teddi would be risking her social and professional status being with a guy like Devin, and Devin’s had other plans all along. Will these two opposites attract strongly enough to ride off into the sunset together?

I bought this blindly because I was intrigued by the synopsis. I mean role reversal much? Add a biker to the mix and I was sold.
Well.. this didn’t deliver any of what was promised. I don’t even know how to review it. It tried to be many things I suppose.. but in the end it was just cringey, boring and pointless.
The characters were the worst part. I just couldn’t see Devin say some of the things he said. Also, the heroine Teddi turned into a little girl who needed constant approval and to be told she’s pretty by Devin. I kid you not, she actually said that. It was all... a mess. Not to mention that that the relationship between Teddi and Devin wasn’t credible in the least. And the part where Devin gets sex advice from Kate “the vanilla girl” .. I skimmed to get to the end after.
I’m so unsatisfied with the “story” that I’m sat here thinking what was the point of this book?
4.25⭐ Genre ~ contemporary romance Series ~ Misadventures #28 Setting ~ Florida Publication date ~ May 19, 2020 Est page Count ~ 221 (30 chapters) Audio length ~ 5 hours 52 minutes Narrators ~ Emma Wilder, Joe Arden POV ~ dual 1st Featuring ~ real estate agent, ex con, minimal steamage
I wanted to give this one a whirl since I'm pretty sure it's the only one in this series written by a man and I don't think I've read many romances written by a man, if any. I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised. Now that's not to say men cannot write romance, but my experience with it is just so little. Anyway I'd read Scott's work again.
Devin & Teddi Devin is fresh out of the slammer and needs a job desperately. Teddi's real estate firm just happens to be hiring for a receptionist.
Devin had a good reason for going to prison and I'm glad he got a second chance because he was really a great guy. Sweet when he wanted to be and out for revenge when it was called for. He didn't have a clue about being a receptionist, but he watched YouTube videos to learn, how cute. I loved his relationship with his old buddy, Herb.
There's a lot of talk about how they like it rough, but the sex didn't seem too rough or cringy to me.
Overall, enjoyed it. My only real issue was the talk of how tiny Teddi is and how much she weighs.
Series notes: Every book in this series is a standalone. Some are single or duo authors and some collaborations.
Narration notes: I did not listen to this one, but am just giving the info above for reference.
This author’s style was a breath of fresh air for me. If I say this is a freestyle kinda book, would you know what I mean? That’s the only word swimming in my head right now. Freestyle is defined, basically, as having little or few restrictions. I have never read this author before and I would bet money right now that every single one of his books is not conventional. I would bet that none of them follow traditional story beats. #betme
I don’t know how to explain this book properly. I don’t have the right words. I mean I’ve been thinking on it for days now and it’s not just that the plot was layered well and the characters developed nicely, it’s a feeling I had while I read. I felt like I was experiencing the journey of these two people. It was glorious. If I break it down, there is a lot going on in this book, but at the same time, it’s about two people who, on paper, seem to have zero characteristics that would make them compatible to journey to a HEA, but if you look beyond the surface, they were perfection! But it wasn’t just about them. Life happened around them, as it would in real life because only people in a book live in a bubble, and this author incorporated all of that without dragging the book down or slowing down the pace of the romance. If anything, it enhanced the story.
I could go on with a bunch of details about their combustible chemistry and the edge of your seat shenanigans going on all around but I don’t want to because I don’t give plot points in my reviews but also because I really just want to leave you with what I stated above and having that as your momentum to #oneclick this book or any other book by him, because I one-clicked them all and regret nothing!
Misadventures of a Biker by Scott Hildreth was a book in the Misadventures series. The series was written by various authors with a steamy flare.
Teddi Mack was a highly successful high end real estate broker in Naples, Fl. She was shrewd, professional and had sworn of men - all men. Devon Wallace had just been released from prison and needed a job - any job and quick. He had a strong background in construction and the receptionist position at Teddie’s firm was the perfect position.
True to the series, the relationship revolved around sex and their chemistry. Hildreth also created a quick plot around real estate, Devon’s roommate and Teddi’s ex. It was lighthearted and fun.
I preferred more depth and complexity, but it aligned with the purpose of a quick novella. It wasn’t my favorite of the series or of Hildreth’s books, but it was still an entertaining read.
God I have missed this man's words and this book was a great read to get back into the swing of doing just that. I love the way he writes a man's point of view. He makes them dominant, confident but totally respectful. Now don't get me wrong he is definitely has a great way of writing a woman's point of view. They are always strong, beautiful and just a little broken. Watching as his words and stories heal them is beautiful.
This book was a fantastic read, one of the most real to life biker books I have read. Some of the books in this field are very Sons of Anarchy but Scott Hildreth writes a biker. As a normal man, with morals and a need to do what he feels is just.
When Devin meets Teddi their attraction was almost immediate and they really don't know why. But we get to learn that they have the same kind of kink. And for me Devin pulls it from her more. Making her really live. This pair makes each other a better person and this is just a beautiful eye opening book.
I totally recommend this book. This author and his words are a joy to read for me. His books are like experiencing the stories first hand.
Where has Scott Hildreth been ALL my life?! If you know him, tell him to write MORE words! I need ALL the words! Seriously.
🎧🎧PERFORMANCE REVIEW & RATING: 5 STARS🎧🎧
I read this story in 2020 when it released, and I remember having such a great reading experience that of course I jumped on the discounted audio-companion, and I enjoyed it just as much if not more! I love how Joe Arden narrates stories! He doesn’t just read his lines, he performs the parts, and it makes all the difference! He embraces the characters and is all in with every high and low and everything in between. I’m also a big fan of Emma Wilder and she and Joe played really well off each other. Excellent listening experience!

Misadventures of a Biker is another great addition to the 'Misadventures series'. This is my first time reading Scott Hildreth and I really enjoyed his bold and sexy writing style!
The story follows a biker named Devin Wallace who is just released from prison. He is trying to acclimate to life out of prison and now is tasked with finding a job. No one wants to hire him but he doesn't give up. He interviews for a receptionist position at a prestigious real estate firm.
Tedi Mack is a fierce real estate broker who likes to get the job done. She loves her job and doesn't have much time for men in her life. When she meets Devin, she is hesitant. He is sexy and giving her 'bad boy' vibes.
As they spend more time together, their attraction only grows. They can't fight their attraction and agree to have a friends with benefits relationship. It gets HOT and SPICY and I devoured these scenes.
I give Misadventures of a Biker 4 stars. It was a fun and flirty romance with two awesome characters. I always enjoy this sexy series and can't wait to read more.
I have been a huge fan of Scott Hildreth since he started writing. He has a talent to really bring a reader into his stories and makes readers really invest in his characters.
This story is classic Scott Hildreth's story and I was sad to see it end. He brings an honesty to his stories and some good life lessons to boot!
This is the story of Devin (Bone) and Teddi. Their unorthodox relationship was spot on and even though it doesn't conform to the "normal" romance genre, I fell in love hard with both Teddi and Devin.
I could empathize with Teddi, what girl doesn't want to be taken care of sometimes? But she is also a strong, capable, successful woman who has been burned by past relationships and isn't afraid to tell Devin what she wants.
Devin is a parolee with time to kill before he can go back to his MC family. When he takes starts working for Teddi, all bets are off!
Their chemistry was hotter than asphalt in Florida in July! Get your hands on this!
Devin Wallace is every woman's bad boy wet dream and every father's worst nightmare. He is a biker, built like a brickhouse and is covered in tattoos. It also does not help he has just been released from Federal Prison after an 8 year stint. No brainer, it makes it impossible to be taken seriously and definitely in trying to even get an interview for a job. And he needs to get a job, his parole officer is biting his ankles with a deadline to get one.
He applies for a receptionist's job at a Real Estate Broker's office, yes you heard right, but he was desperate. He was not in a position to be choosy. Teddi Mack was to conduct the interview but she was "indisposed" and so her second in command filled in and made an executive decision to hire him. When Devin and Teddi meet, they are like 2 angry rottweilers fighting over a bone. The sexual chemistry between these two however could not be denied.
I got a kick out of the secondary characters in this book. Devin's ornery elder friend Herb was a man who did not have a filter and said exactly how he felt. Also, Teddi's gal pal Kate is a piece of work. She wore Devin down to become her BFF so they could discuss the in and outs of men/women relationships. Pun intended. This was a sexy, steamy and delicious story from Scott Hildreth, my first from him, but definitely not my last.
[I received a digital arc for an honest review] Misadventures of a Biker by Scott Hildreth is a new stand alone in the Misadventures series. A fast paced erotic read between an ex con biker and a real estate broker.
Devin is fresh out of prison and finding a job isn't easy for a con, but he finds luck as a receptionist for a real estate firm. There's much more to Devin besides what meets the eye. He's fiercely protective and respectful of women. Real estate brokered Tedi has been anti men since her last boyfriend royally screwed her over. She's not thrilled that Devin seems to check off all her boxes when it comes to the opposite sex. When she has to work closely with him to sell a listing she caves to her attraction. "Spend every waking hour wanting him. I don't know what it is about him, but I want him so bad it hurts."
This is my first novel by Scott Hildreth and I'm not quite sure his writing style works for me. It was a bit to blunt and overly vulgar for at times when I didn't think it was needed. That aside, I did enjoy the characters of the story. Devin who was a bad a** biker with a romantic caring side. He really knew how to make a woman feels special and that woman was Tedi. Tedi's character was good, but she fell a little flat for me, besides being cheated on in the past I didn't think it made up for her behaviors in the beginning. The sex between them is nothing short of an inferno. If you like a book with public sex this one has it covered. They both like it rough between the sheets and give each other exactly what they need in that department.
Overall Misadventures of a Biker is a good read for those looking for a quick erotic story with a happy ending and down and dirty sex.
Scott Hilderth is a new to me author, but after reading this book I knew that I’ll be checking out more of his books. Misadventures of a Biker is a steamy, quick read.
Devin has just been released from prison after eight years. He needs a job, so he applies to be a receptionist for a real estate firm. What he doesn’t expect is Teddi, the woman who is now his new boss. I loved their story so much. It was scorching and these two are have chemistry that just explodes off the pages.
Devin is an alpha male; he is dominant and confident. The man knows what he loves and he isn’t afraid to say it. Teddi has been burned in the past and she has some walls up to protect herself. However, it doesn’t take long for Devin to break through them all.
If tattooed, dominant bikers are your jam and you love books with explosive chemistry this one is a MUST READ!
My first book from this author and it won't be my last. I am not sure why it took me so long to read his work. Loved this book. Teddi and Devin were so good together. The chemistry and attraction betwen them was so good. Both learned to not judge a book by its cover because Teddi and Devin were made for each other even though they looked like they should be avoiding each other. Loved this story. Can't wait to read more from this author.
Scott Hildreth has done it again with this new book to the Misadventures book series. Devin and Teddi's story was completely captivating, I could not put it down at all, not that I wanted to. I devoured their story!! This book had it all for me. It had the steamy factor, the lovable characters, the laugh out loud moments. I could not get enough.
Teddi and Devin scorched their way to my heart and have taken up residence, never to leave. The chemistry between the 2 character was explosive. They were a match made in heaven. The writing of this book flowed beautifully and not once was I able to take my eyes away from the words before me. This is just a really fun and enjoyable read.
I have read close to everything Scott Hildreth has written and Misadventures of a Biker is easily one of my favorites! From the story flow to the characters and how well they all meshed together is going to make for one massive Hildreth Hangover! This was one of my most anticipated reads of 2020 and it went above and beyond my expectations.
**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**
Misadventures of a Biker isn't your typical biker book. There is minimal club interaction, no club life, so if you are looking for that sort of read this isn't it. This is more about a biker and what he has to go through after being released from prison.
When Devin is released from Federal prison he needs to find somewhere to work. It's part of his release that he has a job and somewhere to live that isn't anywhere near the club he left eight years ago. He lives with Herb, a hilarious seventy something year old man, who honestly has the best lines in the book. Herb sends Devin to a real estate agency in need of a receptionist.
Devin and Teddi have a rocky start. Teddi has mile high walls and a past relationship that has her taking it out on all men she talks to. Devin refuses to take her disrespect lightly and put Teddi in her place. Which leads Teddi into dropping her walls just a bit to let the sexy biker receptionist in.
I thoroughly enjoyed the start of this book and pulled me in and had me super invested in the relationship that was building between Teddi and Devin. The push and pull was some of my favorite interaction that was building up to something amazing. Then the sex happened and the book just stayed at a steady pace. No more of the push and pull that drew me in. It was well written and Scott Hildreth is one of my favorite biker authors, but this one was a bit of a miss.
When Devin gets released from jail he needs to find a job. With not many places willing to hire a convict he ends up taking a receptionist job at a real estate office. Totally out of his element but doing a great job leads him to a connection with one of the agents Tedi who might be a petite woman on the outside but a ball of fire on the inside. Can two very different people make a relationship work? Can the biker finally find his future? As with the other stories in the series this is another great read. The reader instantly falls in love with the characters and wants them to get their HEA.
God, I have missed this man's words and this book was a great read to get back into the swing of doing just that. I love the way he writes a man's point of view. He makes them dominant, confident but totally respectful. Now don't get me wrong he is definitely has a great way of writing a woman's point of view. They are always strong, beautiful, and just a little broken. Watching as his words and stories heal them is beautiful.

I totally recommend this book. This author and his words are a joy to read for me. His books are like experiencing the stories first hand.
This is my very first book by this author. I have been wanting to read his work for ages and have quite a few on my kindle 🤦🏻♀️ but all I can say is I am an idiot because after reading this story, wow! they will definitely be moved up the list as I loved the writing style so much.
Devin Wallace was one heck of a character, and he had such fantastic expressions like, “..hornier than a three dic*ed rabbit” 😆 He was one very real, life-like character and I liked him immediately. His honesty was refreshing but was often interpreted as brashness which got him into trouble at times, understandably.
Teddy, I found annoying at times in the beginning, but she was described that way on purpose. As her character was developed, I really liked her and could connect with her so much better. She certainly had a great sense of humor and a huge capacity to love just hadn’t had the right opportunity.
Together, their chemistry was amazing and the intimacy was red hot and extremely sexy. It went a lot further than the physical but the story didn’t spend forever analyzing the depth of their relationship, it was subtle and executed well.
There were fantastic descriptions in this story where you really could see the sun setting over the ocean, the dark interior of the Italian styled mansion, and the old Harley with Devin riding, freeing his mind of worries as well as feel the emotions too.
This is a fast-paced story and very easy to read, I was hooked by the first page and continued to be absorbed until the last one. I totally recommend it to everyone.
This was a quick, sexy, and super steamy read by Scot Hildreth. It was an opposites attract/office romance.
Devin "Bone" Wallace is right out of jail after serving an eight-year sentence. He's desperate for a job, and no one wants to hire someone with a felony record. It doesn't help that he's kind of intimidating with tattoos down his arms and a gruff personality. He applies at one of the most prestigious real estate firms on Florida’s Gulf Coast. He has no experience in this field but he doesn't care because he needs this job, and he is determined to succeed. He has never been the relationship kinda guy. When he sees Teddi, he can't help but notice her shape and curves. Unfortunately, she is not receptive to him initially and acts condescending to him as well. Well, she doesn't know who she is messing with because he won't be the one to lay down and roll over. In fact, he intends to show her just who she is messing with.
Teddi Mack is a high-end real estate broker selling eight-figure beachfront homes, but her life has not been glitter and rainbows. She definitely has not been lucky in love. So much so that she has sworn off relationships and built her emotional walls high. Now in another round of bad luck, she's about to lose a sixty-million dollar listing if she can't sell it. This could be the downfall of her career. To top it off, Teddi's best friend and right-hand woman hires the sexy, tattooed biker on the spot. There haven't been any good prospects come along and she knows that this is the exact type of man her boss needs. When Teddi sees the sexy, tattooed man sitting at the receptionist's desk, she knows that she's in trouble. This is exactly the type of man she's attracted to and she knows she'll want to sleep with him if she doesn't keep her distance. Their first encounter is not ideal. In fact, she is snappy and condescending. Imagine her surprise when he challenges her, puts her in her place, and gives her a good suggestion to save the listing. She can't believe it and she's feeling remorse for the way she treated him. She humbles herself and agrees to work with him. Their attraction is too strong to resist and they begin dating. Will Devin be able to prove that he can be the man she needs or will her walls be too high to climb.
This was a sexy and saucy quick read with touching and hilarious moments but Devin stole the show for me. There were wonderful characters. The secondary characters (especially Herb and Kate) added so much to the story. I fell in love with them too. I enjoyed this book and recommend reading it.
****ARC generously provided in exchange for an honest review.****
Misadventures of a Biker begins with Devin Wallace fresh out of prison and needing a job desperately. If he fails to secure employment, he will head back to prison. Devin has also been ordered to stay away from his motorcycle club. He has applied for several but keeps getting turned down. He sees that a real estate firm is needing, of all things, a receptionist. He enters and finds one of the employees, Kate, and says he’s there to apply for the job. It only takes a minute for Kate to realize he’s serious and when she finds out he has experience in construction management, she pretty much hires him on the spot.
When Tedi Mack, the owner of the firm, comes into the office, she is not pleased about the new hire. Kate assures her that Devin is just what the firm needs. The attraction between Tedi and Devin is almost immediate, but Tedi holds herself in check. They hold a staff meeting a few days later and when Tedi dismisses Devin’s input, he shuts her down immediately. To his surprise, Tedi backs off.
Kate had an ulterior motive in hiring Devin: she knows that he is just what Tedi needs in her life. Having been played in her previous serious relationship, Tedi has guarded her heart ferociously. However, when Devin helps her sell a property that could make or break her, Devin lets his attraction be known, only to back off, which leaves Tedi confused, and frustrated, more than ever. The two of them eventually become a couple of sorts, only to wonder if this can really work. Add to that the fact that Devin wants to rejoin his MC and you’ve got a recipe for broken hearts.
Misadventures of a Biker is another nice addition to the Misadventures series. The characters are relatable and well written. Tedi’s backstory, once revealed, gives you the insight as to why she is so guarded at first. Devin’s imprisonment was a sham from the beginning and endears him to the reader. The secondary characters are well written for the most part. The banter between Devin and his roommate, Herb (who is also an old family friend) is funny at times, but if I’m being honest, it’s also a little over the top, but doesn’t take away from the story. If you’re a fan of the genre and this series, you’ll find this a good read. Well done, Scott Hildreth!
I couldn't wait to read this book. Was counting down the days. Lol finally got to read it, though I would've been finishing this, so much was going on.
But I can say I wasn't disappointed in this book at all. The author did a good job. Plus, I thought Devin was a nice guy, and he did get the stick out of Teddi's ass. Because it was up there hard before he came around. Also, I liked how Katie was looking out for her.
But didn't agree on telling each other about the guy they both were dating. I know some females do that even in fiction and real life. But that is not something you'll want to do because 9/10 that friend would bang your man.
Besides that, I liked how Devin looked out for females and took up for them and got at the men that hurt both Katie and Teddi. What I will say before I mentioned anything else about Devin and Teddi is that I hope Katie and her guy get a book if there own. That would be interesting!!!!
Also, I wanted to slap Teddi at the end when she thought Devin was going to leave her. I was like the girl let the man talk dang. He didn't get on his knee to ask for marriage because she was freaking out and assuming things. But at least, in the end, she accepted his proposal. Even though at first she believed he was going back to his MC.
This is my very first book by this author. I have been wanting to read his work for ages and have quite a few on my kindle 🤦🏻♀️ but all I can say is I am an idiot because after reading this story, wow! they will definitely be moved up the list as I loved the writing style so much.

This is a fast paced story and very easy to read, I was hooked by the first page and continued to be absorbed until the last one. I totally recommend it to everyone.
I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. However, I liked it so much I also bought the book along with audible.
Devin is an ex-con who gets a receptionist job at a real estate firm. What he doesn’t know is he’s being set up with the owner by her right-hand person, Kate. Teddi has a type and Devin checks ALL the boxes. Kate knows Teddi can’t resist a man like Devin. She befriends Devin and gives him a bit of 411 on Teddi and he quickly uses this new found knowledge…in her office. Teddi and Devin’s lascivious behavior is explosive with an unexpected softness. The supporting characters Vinnie, Kate, & Herb are hilarious! Kate and Herb’s characters are so intertwined with Teddi and Devin’s relationship that they should say they’re all dating! The convos among the supporting characters and the main characters are ridiculously funny. I thoroughly enjoyed them. This is a quick read and you’ll be perfectly entertained the entire time.
I have come to expect nothing less than a well written story, relatable characters, and a real life storyline from Scott Hildreth. Each book he writes is nothing short of an incredible adventure. Misadventures of a Biker is of the same caliber. While this story gives us a glimpse of a biker’s life and journey, the good the bad, and definitely the ugly, it also allows us to see a more vulnerable side. While this lifestyle may appear completely hardcore, it’s still a choice. One steeped in pride, respect, loyalty, and brotherhood. Before you pass judgment, take a chance on Devin Wallace. He might just be the new standard.
Devin Wallace took his beliefs to heart. So much so that when applying them in real life, he paid a costly and timely price. Now that his debt to society has been paid, he’s ready to move on. He finds himself in need of employment and landing a job at a high end real estate agency. Not his first choice but his only choice. He’s not a warm, fuzzy people person, AT ALL! Here he meets Teddi Mack. She’s in charge, deals with nothing but the best of the best in the real estate game. They immediately clash. But they also intrigue each other. Teddi craves the dominance of Devin, and he feels a connection to her that’s never happened to him before. But both have a past. She’s still avoiding hers and he’s running back to his. Is there a chance they can compromise and find a HEA?
Devin is a slow, easy burn. He’s upfront but protective. You’ll fall fast and hard. Supporting characters are nothing short of brilliant.
Misadventures of a Biker is fantastic. It's been awhile since I've read a Misadventures series book but having one by Scott Hildreth I had to pick it up. I love Scott's writing. He has this knack of giving you so much heat but with these amazing characters that you feel apart of and Misadventures of a Biker is no different. I love Devin and what he stands for. He is brilliant when it comes to construction and knows what he wants in and out of a bedroom. He is sexy and gives off these bad boy vibes. He is more then a biker. Tedi at first she appears so high strung. Her past experiences she has written off men. Then bam Devin enters and there is no denying the red hot sexy chemistry between them. I love Devin and Tedi together. Tedi brings this calming effect to Devin. She is just amazing. I couldn't get enough of Tedi and Devin. This is one Misadventures series book you will not want to miss.
Another amazing Misadventure. This is my first time reading Scott's books, but thoroughly enjoyed this one. Devin has done some things in his past he's not proud of but being a biker was never one of them. He was proud of his MC and loved his bike more than anything. Teddi was a realtor and had done very well for herself, and having a man in her life was not a priority. She had been through enough in her life and didn't want any more drama. Then Devin begins to work in her office and she can't ignore the attraction she feels for him. Devin can't ignore the pull he feels for Teddi either. They both have to decide if they are going follow through with their attraction or if they are going to be stubborn and ignore it. This adventure takes you through so many twists and turns you will think you are on a bike with the wind blowing through your hair.
Its been a while since I got my hands on a Scott Hildreth book and boy what a great book. Misadventures with a Biker was great addition to the Misadventures series of books. I was hooked to this book and couldn't put it down.
If you are looking for a couple that seems as if they have nothing in common but deep down are a better match then anyone would think, then this is the story for you. Teddy is the put together, stick up your butt real estate agent and Devin is the paroled, biker felon who most wouldn't give a chance to. He needs to do what he has to in order to get back to his life and she has no idea how Devin is about to stir things up and give her more than she anticipated.
This was a great read and super addicting. I was sucked in and loved this couple.
I want to say that this book was so totally not what I expected when I read the first few chapters. In fact, I really didn’t like the character, Teddi, too much. She definitely grew on me as I read more about her. Devin is a hot, tattooed biker. He’s also an ex-con. I feel like that only figures in the story because it’s how he ended up with the job in the real estate office. I love how Devin is alpha and protective of his woman, and all women. He has some colorful friends that add a fun element to this story. I won’t give it away, but the ending was a surprise! I always enjoy reading books by Scott Hildreth! 4 stars
What can go wrong with a former felon/biker and an uptight realtor? So much, but it’s all entertaining.
Be prepared to be intrigued from start to finish with the antics from these two.
These two were an interesting pair. Their attraction and chemistry made for a sensual and fun read.
It was somewhat fast paced, insta-love style after their initial meet, but I enjoyed it regardless. If you’re interested in the MC trope, but not deeply invested in the full experience, this story will give you a taste.
My first read by this author and certainly won’t be my last. I’m a huge fan of MC reads and this one ticked all the boxes. Intense, gritty and brutally raw. , this biker has a heart of gold and a way with women that I fell in love with. The writing was strong, solid and fast paced. This insta attraction romance between Devin and Tedi was fast paced real and relatable. It starts as he tries to get his life on track following his release from prison. Sparks fly and what follows is a steamy heartfelt romance that had me hooked from beginning to end.
Devin “Bone” Wallace is fresh out of prison and under orders from his parole office to find employment or be re-incarcerated. He applies at one of the most prestigious real estate firms on Florida’s Gulf Coast as a receptionist. He doesn't set his sites to high. Devin knows he needs to work his way up the ladder, especially after being put away for the last 8 yrs.
High-end real estate broker Tedi Mack’s main focus is selling eight-figure beachfront mansions. In desperate need of an office receptionist, she interviews three bubblegum-chewing twenty-somethings and a stunningly handsome tattooed biker who wears his wallet on a chain. Tedi and her all-woman sales staff make a very quick decision: Devin the biker.
Tedi and Devin have s strong chemistry when they are near each other. Tedi has just been burned in a bad relationship. Devin's not sure what he is looking for. But, he knows he can't stay away from Tedi.
Devin does help with some construction issues on one of the eight figure properties Tedi is trying to sell. Devin worked in construction and was building a lot of the local homes before he went away to prison. Now that he's out he never wants to go back. He's trying to do right and make the right choices.
Will Tedi let Devin into her life after what she's been through? Will Devin just be a love them and leave them type of guy?
