My opportunity of a lifetime was not supposed to include an alien breeding program.
I thought I was hot stuff getting a prestigious internship to study dinosaurs. A new planet, an extinct species, a coveted opportunity. Sign me up!
Except there’s a lot more on this planet than velociraptors.
There’s the giant monsters that steal us right out of our cruiser. Rude!
And the hot silver-muscled aliens that rescue us.
Or at least I think that’s what this guy’s doing when he throws me across the saddle of his dino-mount. Only we’re not heading back to base.
These alien savages have big plans for me and becoming one of their breeder mates is suddenly the least of my worries.
If you like your steamy sci-fi romances with sassy Earth women that’ll make you laugh and sexy alien warriors that’ll make you sweat, grab this first in series now!
Ivy McAdams is all about the thrills, be it falling in love or action-packed adventure. The more heart-pounding the better.
Exotic worlds are her slice of pie. Undiscovered planets, enchanting fantasy realms, or even the more sinister side of the wild west frontier. Finding romance in these otherworlds is one of her favorite adventures.
When not writing, she’s taking care of two beautiful girls and teaching them to adore books as much as she did growing up. She can’t wait until they’re big enough to go on exciting adventures with her, both on the page and off.
I enjoyed it for the most part. I will say (and this is sort of spoilery) but this is similar to avatar. I can’t say I love that aspect. I mean, isn’t that weird. How do the other villagers mentally separate the old bodies with the new people? But I’m curious about how the next one will go. If it’s not different (like with how the characters act) then it will probably be the last one of the series that I will read.
Loved everything about the book and the author is very creative! A beautiful alien romance story with enough action, adventure, drama, prehistoric animals, abduction, love, and steamy hot romance with awesome characters. A must buy and so ready to read the next book in the series.
What do you get when you cross alien romance with Avatar? You get a wonderfully written alien romance by Ivy McAdams. She writes a strong story full of hot aliens, scary aliens and dinosaurs!
I hate coming up with titles. Truly this book is all those and more. Human breeders for aliens is not a new thought however I have yet to read one such as this. One of a kind story and if you love dinosaurs 🦕 well this is 💯 up your alley. Perfect HEA with another human companion of Gemma’s in a whole new world.
Alien abduction romance novels are my favorite. So I was super excited to read this book. Although I found the story to be in unique, it was not my favorite. I wish there was a way for the girls to stay human, but then that would take away from the uniqueness then wouldn't it?
I loved this book. It's a completely different idea concept for me. This is not your everyday crash landed kidnapped by alien barbarians book. It's still crash landed and of course kidnapped by alien barbarians but what happens next is original. At least I haven't read anything like it and I've read a bunch of sci-fi alien romances. I'm not going to say what it is because I avoid spoilers but it was a shocker and gave the story something extra. I really enjoyed the book. I would like the characters to have a little more background information but that wasn't enough for me to take away a star.
I’ve read a lot of sci-fi alien romances, like A LOT. So I’m used to the weird crazy stuff that pops up in these books. But this book is its own kind of weird and crazy. So if your looking at reading this book I will tell you that it is a good, crazy, sci-fi book just be warned that there is body swapping.
I am absolutely thrilled to review this story. Its not very often do you find Authors do books with Dinosaurs in them. Not only that but this story intrigued me, humans visitors to a planet where they have to wear masks, but only the women are saved and their souls are transplanted, to much bigger bodies that one can only imagine. I really enjoyed reading this and hope that their are more stories following.
Gemma and her friend just love dinosaurs, so when a chance comes to study them they both took the opportunity. They find themselves on a new planet. Their tour guide is relunctant to take them any further than they are surosed to but he does. Getting out of the ship to inspect the dinosaurs more, they are suddenly attacked , but are saved by some very tall aliens riding Dinosaurs. Gemma finds herself attracted to the man but before she knows it she and the others are taken to their village, and given something to drink. However she wakes up to find herself in another body, an alien one, and there are more beside her as well. Can Kovak persuade her to stay and be his mate, he certainly hopes so for his species are dying out!
I absolutely lived this book! Very well written, with a great plot! I can not wait for the next book in the series!
Gemma goes to the planet to study dinos. Well she and others were taking a look around, they were attacked by bug aliens. The Kutarians came and helped them, only cause Kovak felt a draw. { The way they feel energies is so cool!} This is the first meeting between Gemma and Kovak. She did not scream, maybe cause she was fascinated by their dino mounts. The others did not hold that fascination.
My favorite part was when she woke up and realized something was wrong with her body. They way the author explained how she fell around was so funny!!
Though it was not smooth sailing between Kovak and Gemma. She was not happy about why they were taken.....

This was such a unique setting for an alien abduction story and I found myself totally enthralled with all the twists in this reading ride. Interesting characters, dinosaurs, kidnapping and kidnapping - yes, it's in their twice ;) In the end, though, we get a great romance and I look forward to seeing what else this author comes up with in future books.
Felt like the continuation of Avatar the Movie with a twist because of the presence of dinosaurs but in this story the hero and the heroine have a happily ever after and there is more to the story. Looking forward to the next story.

This is a different type of story than I am use to reading in a alien abduction story it reminds me of Avatar. There is suspense, drama, kidnapping twice, danger, and romance. This is book one in the Kutarian Warriors series it is Gemma and Kovak's story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Gemma traveled to another planet to study dinosaurs but then her group was ambushed and then the women were taken. Then her soul was transferred into a female aliens body. Will she figure out how to free them? Will she fall for the fearsome warrior? What will Gemma do? Fun and exciting

What a world!!! Ivy had me intrigued from the blurb but then after the first chapter I was hooked! I had to know what was going to happen! Can’t wait for the next book!!!!
Just when you think you’ve read it all, a massive alien kidnaps you. This author is too much. I sure do enjoy her books. She’s hilarious and romantic and just awesome. These books will leave you smiling
The events of this book happen over a period of 7 days. A week. In that time there is introduction of new planet, dinosaurs, extremely low intelligence heroine, barbaric hero, week plot, attack, rescue, body swap, party, mission, few incidents, several sex scenes and eternal love. Let's talk about few of those factors. First ,I guess, I have to explain my opinion of heroine. To understand why I deemed her low intelligence. She is part of group of students (university) that goes to another planet to explore dinosaurs. So in the first pages she manage to completely disregard advice of guide by braking safety rules and leaving transport. Because, in her mind,it is funny to disobey and she knows better. That results in attack, consequent rescue where she promptly gets aroused by her captor and not even once the thoughts of survival bothers her. Next comes body swap ala Avatar and complete control of her new body. She is not curious about her new body at all. Few stray thoughts about wrong ness of it all that are quickly squashed by happiness of coming party. Let's remember she is new on this planet, have been abducted, held and body swapped against her will and all the girl thinks about is how excited she is to have party in her honour. And how aroused she is by hero. She is stupid enough to run into hunt of experienced hunters without any weapon, because she thinks herself the saviour. She wanders off ,goes on self imposed mission without any knowledge or even thought, basically endangering herself and others around her. But. By the end of the week she have true love and ready to pop babies. Was I supposed to like her? Respect her? Relate to her? My feelings were more of the type-she is too stupid to live with immense feeling of self importance. It was painful to be in her head. And let's not forget that meanwhile her best friend and fellow humans are as good as dead or dying and she is not disturbed by it at all. The hero. Well, here I forgive a lot, mostly because with alien species authors have a huge leeway. They don't have to think or act like humans. However, our hero is humanized to the max. Minus in my book. Why choose alien hero and not explore possibilities, instead giving him human qualities and thoughts. The plot. I am not sure there was one. Yes, the story have sequence of events, but there was no buildup or climax or actually a point to it all. Authors disregard of self imposed writing rules. Things like heroine calling local wildlife dinosaurs that hero is confused about and don't understand the word just to promptly have same hero using the same word in conversation with his fellow aliens as a normal part of their vocabulary. You know, things like that. Things that don't make sense and are ridiculous. The whole take on body swap. I don't know,if it was approached differently , handled differently I may have been more interested. As it is,it was not interesting or exciting. Just your usual-your body is not good enough, here, wear this. Why start with introducing dinosaurs in the first page if not making them integral part of story. They are meaningless to the story. Yes,you get few mentions, like using one species as horses or hunting another for food, but that's about it.
As you can guess,I was hugely dissapointed by this story. I have never been a fan of insta-love,but this here is ridiculous. Can't recommend it to anyone.

In "Abducted by an Alien Savage," the first book of the Kutarian Warriors series by Ivy McAdams, readers are taken on a thrilling and steamy adventure across galaxies.
The story follows feisty and ambitious Gemma, who thought she was embarking on the opportunity of a lifetime with an internship to study dinosaurs on a new planet. Little did she know that her adventure would take an unexpected turn when she finds herself abducted by giant monsters.
Rescued by hot, silver-muscled aliens, she soon realizes that these alien savages have more in store for her than just a simple rescue. As she is thrown across the saddle of a dino-mount, she discovers that becoming one of their breeder mates is just the beginning of her wild journey.
Ivy McAdams delivers a fast-paced and sizzling sci-fi romance filled with humor, steamy encounters, and plenty of excitement. The chemistry between Gemma and the sexy alien warrior Kovak is electric, and their interactions are both entertaining and titillating.
What I loved most about this book is the perfect balance of steamy romance and adventurous sci-fi elements. McAdams creates a vivid and immersive world filled with danger, passion, and unexpected twists. Gemma's sassy personality and Kovak's protective instincts make for a dynamic and engaging read.
"Abducted by an Alien Savage" is a perfect escape for readers looking for something different and daring. If you enjoy steamy sci-fi romances with strong-willed heroines and sexy alien warriors, then this book is definitely for you.
Generously rounding up to 3 stars. I don’t know, something about this book just didn’t work for me. The human/alien body swap was disturbing, and actually made me want to quit reading. I felt there were a lot of plot holes & inconsistencies to the story. There were a lot of missed opportunities to help the story a long that weren’t utilized. I didn’t have any chuckles, or laugh moments, or even some grins, so don’t feel the humor was as strong as the blurb indicated. The communications after the body swap was to smooth, that didn’t lend to believable conversations between them. I didn’t like Gemma -at all. Where I did like Kovak, & he was the only reason I kept reading. I will not continue on with the series.
Not the movies plot just the characters the way the aliens interacted with everything through energies and what not and the whole body swapping thing all that ripped off from avatar which amazes me people can get away with that cause it was way too close to not be considered plagiarism yeah she changed the aliens coloring up but every other detail matched Avatar aliens to the T anyways if I had to purchase this I would say save your money not worth It!
I’m glad I picked this book up, it makes for a different type of love story, in a refreshing way, I don't want to spoil it, but I would say, the author uses this book to set the stage, so it did at times feel long-winded and tedious! But I for one can’t wait for the next instalment 😍
Gemma is on a different planet to study dinosaurs. She is snatched by a local, Kovak. His shaman swaps her mind with a Kutarian woman. This book is very reminiscent of a certain movie, even down to their appearance. Decent book.
