An ex-husband. The man who loved them both. A second chance.
Two years ago, the three military veterans crashed together in a night of too many drinks and too much truth.
But in the cold light of day, it was too much for them to handle. So, Natasha ran. She left them behind, along with the private security firm they all started together.
Now, Natasha is a process server and the best news she’s ever gotten comes across her desk. Her husband needs to be served. Her ex-husband, that is.
Jake was in a car accident and now the guy is suing him. How hilarious.
She can’t wait to see his face when she slaps him with the paperwork.
But he doesn’t plan to make it easy on her. Along with his business partner, Liam, who helped break up their marriage, Jake leads her into a game of cat-and-mouse.
All she wants for Christmas is to ruin her ex’s day, but she’s starting to wonder if she’s the cat… or the mouse.
SERVED is a bisexual MMF second-chance romance that was inspired by DIE HARD.

Cuz She's been Itch'n to Serve a bit O' Revenge... Since She went Away... Sure it was Her decision to GO... But WHAT choice did She have when She felt like a THIRD Wheel! Stuck between TWO who obviously LOVED Each other... Sooo She walked out on Her Marriage & Her business, And now She's ready to ensure He's "Served," But He's evading Her... All she had to do was serve her ex-husband with papers and get her revenge - simple right? So why is she covered in garbage and glitter...and wait is someone shooting at her?
Natasha left her husband, business, and her best friend after a threesome left her with the realization that the men in her life loved each other. She thought she was doing what was best for them. Let them find a life together without her in the way. This does not mean that some anger has not built up as she gave him her coffee shop and she’s been without her lavender latte for almost a year.
When Jake, her ex, starts to avoid the lawyers from a pending lawsuit her office is asked to serve him papers. (hehehehe) Nat offers to take the job. She’ll get her latte back. She will also get to show Jake and Liam she has moved on.
While staking Jake out, Liam is staking her out. He is following her everywhere she is going! Popping up in her car and at the Vet center. Seriously?! Well that was kind of a good thing as someone started shooting at her.
Now it Jake, Liam, and her have to figure out who is trying to kill her before she serves Jake or kills him.
Helene Gadot presents a hilarious holiday tale of three people who really need to communicate more in Served: A Holiday Menage Romance (Amazon, B081ZSM5WC, 2019). This is a hysterical misadventure of trying to serve papers on someone that gets serious, yet then goes into the fantastical extreme and recognizes it.
Gadot even admits in the write-up that they were inspired by the movie Die Hard (Dir. John McTiernan, 1988) and you can tell by the references. Well that movie is my favorite Christmas movie so bring it on. I loved it and I think you will love this trip down memory lane too. The added benefit that Gadot gives us is some really hot sex at the end of the adventure. Who does not want to end the holidays with John McLane and sex? I do...well and someone extra. ✶✶✶✶

I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading my ARC copy from Booksprout. This is the first story ive read by Helene. I enjoyed it immensely. I turned a few heads chuckling out loud and was asked why I was smiling several times. All kind of things befall her while trying to serve her ex-husband for a accident lawsuit. The whole reason for their separation is now the trying to get the three back together. Helene gives you a story about a woman who thought she was sacrificing for good of all and it turns out that she doesnt know the whole picture. I really enjoyed this sort holiday story. I am sure that you wont be disappointed either.

This story of how Nat and Jake and Liam became broken is full of chemistry, some drama, action, suspense and mystery. The interaction between the three of them and just when there are two is intense and meaningful. I like that Nat is able to overcome her fears and move forward with life. I like how she was strong and tried to do what she felt was right before the story begins. Most of all, I love the mentions of the greatest Christmas movie of all time.
