I really enjoyed this novella.
Max is a wealthy Manhattan businessman and his sister is always trying to set him up on blind dates. When he refuses she turns him into a collection company as a bad debt. Mia works for the collection agency and she is terrible at her job. She has such a soft heart for people. When she calls Max for the debt collection he is instantly smitten and wants her for himself.
It was a cute novella. Very well written and had some funny moments. Interesting plot/unique which I liked. It is instalove so the romance moves very quickly.
This is my first book by Lucy Darling but will not be my last.

I'm going on a book break/ban so I can actually focus on work and exams 💀 (so I'll be really inactive 🥲).
So I thought what better way to start it than by reading a novella to get me through it 😭. This wasn't great but it was cute.

HERO Max was a good hero. He fell for the heroine just from the sound of her voice. I liked that he went interested in dating and was not portrayed as a manwhore at all
HEROINE Mia was sweet, innocent and so caring. She was sweet but strong when needed
OW DRAMA a temporary assistant tried to cause them drama. Hero had never been with her in any way. He didn’t even know what her name was.

SEPARATION no separation
SECONDARY CHARACTERS I loved how spunky Amelia was. However she was described as a series dated and that does nothing for me

Sweet love story between a shy innocent heroine who works as a debt collector, and the hero, who incidentally ends up being her client, gets obsessed with her voice, and wedges his way into her life, making her his.
A good one time read with smitten, very nice characters.

Max just loves to annoy is sister and his sister loves to annoy him even more. So much she gets collectors to call his office. And when she spends 1 mill that call comes from Mia, who hes already sprung over just from her voice. Mia is a sweet kind and funny girl and when mysterious guy pays his debt she is happy. Until her friend Ameila and her go on a double date and she gets stood up. Little did she know her date was suppose to be Max but he was so sprung on caller he didnt wanna date anyone (not knowing that was her).
Mia calls again for another Debt and agrees to a date when she finds out Max was the guy who stood her up she alittle pulled back but shes sassy as heck to him. Now Max needs to show her shes all his. Even when someone tries to sabotage their relationship.
I love the friendship between Ameila and Mia.. and the banter between Max and Ameila.

Cute story
This was a sweet and quick love story. Mia and Max have great chemistry....even over the phone! A tiny bit of OW drama, but it’s dealt with quickly.

Doing some quick rereads today to catch up on some reviews that I missed posting. Lucy Darling has become one of my auto-click authors. Perfect balance of OTT, possessive, out-of-his-mind-for-the-h alpha men with virgin h's and either virgin, celibate or like this one, no mention of H's past but I would say virgin just by some things he said or thought. No abuse. Dual POV, epilogues a few weeks and a few years later. Do yourself a favor and read up on this author if you like the previously mentioned info.

Quick, sweet and sexy story. Max is instantly hooked to the voice of the woman on the other end of the line. From the moment he hears her voice he is only interested in her, he is obsessed. Mia is intrigued by the sexy voice on the phone but is a little concerned that he has so much debt at a lingerie. Once the two meet face to face their futures together and set.

Ring ring.
I was worried when I started this story. As someone with a lot of debt so much collection agency stuff made me anxious. Then you see how lazy Max is and literally plays around by putting money in collections made me angry and disgruntled.
Luckily, when we moved away from that it really picked up for me. I ended up liking Max much more than I thought I would.
My only disappointment was I was waiting for a blow and a grovel about him standing her up on the blind date. It was really careless and rude and I want Mia to really chew him out. I was counting down the pages! Then… it was resolved in like three sentences. Gah!
Still, a sweet insta alpha read that was fun. I’m excited to read Amelia’s story next.

Mia trabaja en una empresa de cobros solo que no le gusta su trabajo y ella es demasiado blanda para ello. Así que cuando su última deuda para reclamar es tan alta no sabe cómo va a hacer, y lo último que espera es que el deudor le pida una cita.
ME HA ENCANTADOOOOO!!!! Ay ya necesitaba algo bonito, adorable y con poco drama para leer. Me encantó, ella es tan dulce y el es un gruñoncete divertido. Hubo un poco de drama con la típica mujer tonta pero por lo demás es la receta de siempre: amor a primera vista (en este caso voz), hombre enamorado y loco, final super feliz y tropecientos hijos 😁

This is the first time I've read a book by this author and this is book 1 in the series. The cover is awesome too I really like it. This book is a quick and fun read.
Book #1= Love on the line
Book #2= Love Forever.
Max is a gentleman who is very loving and caring especially with his family and his sister Kim. Kim needs bailing out of a pickle a big pickle, she's got a debt and goes to her brother for help.
Mia is a very sweet and caring soul that feels for everyone and there problems and tries to help out everyone she can. Mia has actually paid someone's debt for them at one point. Mia works at the debt collection agency when she first hears Max's voice. (NO SPOILERS)
I loved the characters in this book. I loved how protective, caring and loving Max is. He is a complete gem. There is alot of chemistry between them both and Max loves Mia's innocence.
I absolutely loved reading this book and following the story and seeing where everything progressed to.
This book is told from different points of view which I always like.
I really liked this authors writing style and she's written these characters awesomely. This book is a quick read that I read in one sitting and I can't wait to read more from these authors in the future.

This book was horrifically sexist, the “heroin” is described as weak and submissive the entire time and the “hero” is a narcissistic, sexist weirdo. She is also so innocent that it almost infantilises her which is extremely toxic and unnecessary. Throughout the entire book, she is seen as an extension of him and his property the entire time, and while his job is regarded as important, her main role seems to be to be his partner and have his children. This book just pushes this capitalist, patriarchal view of love and honestly, I’m so sick of it (hello…the stock market is not as sexy as you think). As a woman, there are SO many better, sweet, empowering books you could read, as I think this one does more harm than good.

A sweet love story between Max and Mia. After a very brief mix up and hasty explanation, Max and Mia realize that they only have eyes for each other. There is a brief moment with OW, quickly eradicated and Max and Mia get their HEA. I absolutely adored, Mia's friend Amelia and will be reading her book next. 4 solid stars

Ed appena si vedono scatta la scintilla ed è amore a prima vista.
Sarà anche la solita storiella con l'amore che scatta subito, il solito finale Smielato, il solito maschio alfa, la solita verginella senza esperienza, ma l'amore che emanano queste storie veloci lo sa solo Dio.
Non mi stanco mai di leggerle perché lasciano il sorriso in faccia per ora e forse anche giorni.
I personaggi sono come nelle fiabe, ne vorresti ogni giorno! Almeno vale per me.

Another Smut-tasitc read, with all the tropes that I just am obsessed over. Insta-love at first hearing her voice, Swoon, and then just instant everything with the first meeting. I love it Max and Mia are adorable and he is so over the top with her. Cheesy grin while reading this story.

Love On The Line by Lucy Darling - 3/5 stars
This story was lots of fun! A good quick read if you're looking for something with minimal investment. I liked the cast of characters that was built up and the fact that there was more to the story than just sex, despite this just being a shorter one shot story.
I'm not really one for an alpha male who "claims" the girl the second he sees/hears her, but this wasn't bad. I thought it was fun and had a good time!

no me gustó, para nada, se me hizo ridícula la manera en que pasaban las cosas y probablemente sea culpa mía ya que tampoco puedo esperar más desarrollo de un libro con alrededor de 100 páginas, pero aún así, no logré conectar para nada con los personajes, con ni uno solo.
