Awesome childhood best friends to lovers/rockstar trilogy!
Beats of the Heart
This book was amazing. I love friends to lovers! The story line is familiar, but the author did an amazing job of getting the emotions to the reader. I could feel the love between Dawson and Izzy. I could really feel the heartbreak. I wish Dawson would have stood up to Lila more forcefully. I really want Dawson to man up and grovel. I still really liked him though. I want to know how the band felt about Dawson's actions and why they were so silent. I thought they were friends of Izzy's too.
Notes of the Heart
Another amazing read! This is the second book of the series. You need to read Beats of the Heart to get the full experience and impact of the story. I have to say I read a lot and there are probably only five authors who can make me feel the emotions of the characters so thoroughly and Charli B Rose is one of them. In Notes of the Heart we find out what really happened to keep Dawson and Izzy apart. It was a small thing to happen that snow balled to have enormous consequences. A small thing that probably got a nudge from someone. We also get the entire back story of how Dawson and Izzy met as children and then fell in love. I love all the experiences these two have. Some crushing and others wonderfully overwhelming. We also find out more about the relationship between Izzy and her new love interest. He's a great guy, but you can tell something is missing. At the end of Beats we learned something was going on with Izzy's health, but the impact it has on Izzy and her relationships with Dawson and Beckett are huge. Though this book was mostly past experiences, it is needed to really cement the bond Dawson and Izzy have. As a wise person once said, when the reader is invested with all aspects and experiences of the characters, we root for them more and the triumphs are so much sweeter.
Songs of the Heart is the final installment and conclusion to Dawson and Izzy's story. You need to have read Beats of the Heart and Notes of the Heart before reading Songs of the Heart. Charli once again did an amazing job of connecting the readers to her characters. We get an amazing reunion for Dawson and Izzy and a very adult, not wishy washy, end to Beckett and Izzy's relationship. I have to admit Beckett wasn't my favorite in the second book. I didn't hate him, he was just in my way of Dawson and Izzy being together. Charli completely turned that around for me. I love him and am most interested for him to get his lady and be tied with the red thread of fate. I love that the reunion was fairly early in the story so we get to spend some time with them as a couple. There is some suspense and danger with an unknown stalker and I was completely wrong on who was actually the culprit. Charli does a wonderful job of connecting music to dialogue. The playlist is a great bonus. I love the author's writing style and she has a great talent of making you feel and think with the characters.
The bonus novella, Melody of the Heart is icing on the cake. Loved seeing these characters again and can't wait to see more of them in the future! I loved getting the extra scenes!

Beats of the Heart is the first book in the Lyrical Odyssey Rock Star Series. This story is friends-to-lovers/rockstar romance at it’s absolute best. It is a tale of friendship heartbreak, loss, stardom, heartache, emotion, drama, mystery, and so much more.
This book took me on a emotional rollercoaster ride, but I know there is a lot more to come. There are major unanswered questions, and some mystery surrounding the way things were left off. I don’t think certain events are as cut and dried as they may appear and I suspect that there is a massive plot twist that will explain everything.

Notes Of The Heart is another incredible read! This is the second book in this series. You need to read Beats of the Heart in order to get the full experience and impact of this story.
Though this book took an unique turn which was based mostly on past experiences and flashbacks, I felt it was necessary to really cement the bond Dawson and Izzy have. I loved the build-up to this story. Each chapter is in the POV of Izzy and Dawson. The flashbacks of their memories established a connection and understanding of their love. I absolutely adored the letters Izzy and Dawson sent to each other beginning as six year olds was so heartwarming and beautiful. I found myself completely emotional at their innocence of youth and young love. They were best friends, then lovers, finally to unexpected heartbreak and devastation. This story is filled to the brim with love, hurt, heartache, loss, past memories, and the possibility of second chances.

I just loved this conclusion to Izzy and Dawson’s story. This trilogy has literally took me on a emotional roller coaster. There is so much attention to detail in this book and I have become so invested and enthralled in Izzy & Dawson’s love story. The love between Dawson and Izzy is so unbelievably sweet, heartwarming and passionate. It was the perfect conclusion to a beautiful love story. Charli B. Rose really knows how to draw you into her books. I just couldn't put this book down. I devoured this book in just a few hours. That's how good it was.
I am such a fan of Charli’s writing style. She has a wonderful way with her gift of words and a true talent of writing heartfelt and emotional stories. I am so looking forward to reading more from Charli B. Rose, and hopefully more from the Lyrical Odyssey band mates.

Happy ever after
Beats of the heart: Izzy was struggling with Dawson fame and all the rumors that the tabloids post about him even though there not real Izzy struggles with it especially with them being long distances even though they have been together for years and when the tabloids get wind of Izzy they start to stalk her when she has to go back home from her visit with Dawson and then that's when everything changed and not for the good.
Notes of the great: After Izzy over came her deathly illnesses she still had a broken heart even when she tried getting over it and dated someone else but it didn't work all she could still think of was Dawson. Dawson couldn't get over Izzy and how she just disappeared from his life it send's him in to a down world spirle trying anything possible to forget his broken heart but that didn't work and then as if fate had some magic to them to be together Dawson goes home for a party and it happens to be Izzy's parents anniversary party.
Song of the heart: Dawson had finally got Izzy back and now he has to win her trust back after how much it hurt her to be without him and now in top of it all with him trying to win her trust back he had to deal with a stalker also trying to keep them apart they have to hope there love can with sand what life throws at them.
Melody of the heart: now that Dawson and Izzy have there happy ever they can focus on enjoying each other and plan there wedding why hoping that there friends find what they have and can do couple costumes for Halloween and also be happy that Izzy is healthy

This is an amazing debut novel that will pull on your heartstrings. I quickly fell in love with Dawson and Izzy. Even though the end of the book made me cry it is phenomenally Written.

In this book you get a glimpse of Izzy and Dawson past relationship and what is going on now in their lives. I love their story and I can not wait to read the final book Songs of the Heart to find out how their story ends. Favorite quote: Dawson ~ “Lines written here and there over the past couple years. Wow!!!!
What can I say that hasn't already been said? Charli is a new to me author and these books certainly won't be the last I read from her. I absolutely fell in love with Izzy and Dawson. Just when I thought the story was headed in one direction Charli takes us on a road we definitely didn't see and just when you think you have it figured out you're proven wrong.. I absolutely loved the angst, the suspense and everything in between! Such a beautiful series. I highly recommend this set, you won't regret it!!

My first book/series of Charli B. Rose and I was blown away. Such a beautiful story of Izzy and Dawson childhood sweethearts who lost their way but then found their way back to each other. Few ups and downs and twists. One being I thought the stalker was Cleo but then turned out to be Casey from Dawson's English class. Loved reading the bonus bits.The deleted scenes and lazy and Dawson short story novella. Can't wait to read turn up the tempo when it's out.

This is an amazing box set consisting of the first three books from the Lyrical Odyssey Series (Beats of the Heart, Notes of the Heart and Songs of the Heart) and bonus material including a novella and deleted scenes. Dawson and Izzy are amazing characters, from the very start Charli B Rose has you rooting for this couple and you spend the series smiling along with the happy moments and feeling crushed with the heartbreaking moments. I’m excited to read more from this series.

Loved,Loved,Loved It!
Oh my gosh I can't wait to read the other stories! Dawson & Izzy are awesome can't wait to see if they get their HEA! Cleo is a bitch and I hope and pray that Maddox wakes up to Sky! Hopefully Wilder & Jett get their HEA's. Last but not least Brooks I hope he's 👌he seems withdrawn and I think Dawson & Izzy can help. Thank you Charli!

Cant get enough of Dawson and Izzy
Fanfreakingtastic. I dove right in and didnt come out until I was finished. Dawson and Izzy had my heart twisting and butterflies floating. So romantic, so heartfelt, heartbreaking, angsty and mysterious. This set had it all. So glad I took a chance on this new to me author. I'm so excited for book 4 coming soon I hope.

My review for Melody of the Heart
I’m so in love again with Dawson and Izzy!!!! I can’t wait to read more of them and the rest of the gang I the next book. I can’t wait to read more of there wedding hopefully it will happen in the next book. Love love love this series.
