ASHLEY ANTOINETTE COLEMAN is one of the most successful female writers of her time. The feminine half of the popular married duo, Ashley and JaQuavis, she has co-written over 40 novels, including the bestselling Cartel series. Several of her titles have hit The New York Times bestsellers list, but she is most widely regarded for her continuing racy saga, The Prada Plan. Born in Flint, MI, she was bred with an innate street sense that she uses as motivation in her crime filled writings.
Picking up a deal with publishing powerhouse St. Martin's Press while simultaneously inking deals at Warner Brothers Studios and NBC/Universal, Ashley shows no signs of slowing down. She is currently hard at work on a new book series and two television pilots.

It's Ethic, Alani and the whole gang, so it's an automatic 5 stars...but I have a few unrelated to content gripes. #AshArmy is loyal to these characters but I'm starting to feel taken advantage of. This NOVELLA was not worth $10!!! The story ended at 61% and then was to followed by an excerpt from Butterfly, which I naturally didn't read since I'm anxiously awaiting the release that's coming in a weeks, and a snippet from something by Jaquavis. Additionally, this was the most spelling errors I've seen in one of her books. Assuming she did a quick write and release, which I've been kind of feeling since book 4 (pages getting shorter but cost remaining the same) but she owes her loyal followers better.
Oh my goodness! This was a much needed surprise! Christmas With The Okafors is a nice "bridge" to hold you over til Butterfly drops. The Butterfly sneak peek isn't unappreciated either. A couple of errors but even more laughter and tears. Just what this reader needed to get out of this book funk that was trying to creep up on me
I am so in love with the Okafors 🥰. It's ridiculous. I will retreat completely from reality and just sit in their world. These characters Ashley Antionette has created are in my soul now. I love every single one of them. I don't even like Christmas stuff when it ain't Christmas time. In fact I hate it. As soon as the new year comes, all Christmas shit got to go. I would never read more Christmas book after December 31st. But I cannot get enough of these people.
What a surprise! Going into “Christmas with the Okafors: An Ethic Holiday Edition”, I was expecting a light, festive holiday read but what I found was so much more. This was a perfect accompaniment to the Ethic series. It was wonderful to catch up with everyone for their first Christmas celebration as a family. It is so easy for me to get lost in these books and the characters that Ashley Antoinette has created.
There were many things that I liked about this book. I really enjoyed the alternating viewpoints as well as how the events played out in the days leading up to Christmas. Even though it was a pretty quick read, I still managed to find myself full of emotion while reading. I laughed and even got teary eyed. Not to mention a major twist that I didn't see coming( can’t wait to see how that plays out)! There were a few errors but nothing that really took away from the story.
So still nobody knows Messiah has 3 children ? Girl Booooooo
This was cute I guess.
Bash seem like he beat women I don’t like him or maybe that’s me liking hood men 😀🤣. Morgan keep running back to London huh where is the insurance money because if she not gonna use it I want it lmao.

I feel cheated. This book cost just as much as the full length books. Sometimes this whole series feels like a money grab. Novellas should be cheaper. Anyway, it was a pretty good read. Nothing too deep happened but there was more progress in the familial relationships. On to Butterfly…….
It was good to catch up with the Okafor's this holiday season. Great update on their lives as Ethic and Alani celebrates their first Christmas together with the entire family. An unexpected situation had everyone on alert and kept me reading to see the outcome. As with the previous books, this was an enjoyable read and I'm looking forward to reading The Butterfly Series
If you love Ashley Antoinette’s Moth to Flame and read all of the Ethic series you are in for real sweet treat with Christmas with the Okafors! I love how her characters evolve through each book.
I think this has been my favorite book of the entire Ethic series! I love Eazy so much! He such a gifted young man and I hope to see more of him in other books! Henny and Bella…LOVEEEEE 🩷 can’t wait to see their love BLOOM!
It was cute... but, highway robbery ($10)... it should have been a freebie, it was very short, and had Butterfly exerpt.. she really just dragging, cause this was just ehhhh for me...I could have not read it and been fine... and, that says alot because I love the Ethic Series.
I love Ethic and Alani. The Okafor family has gone through so much and the trauma continued in this book. The only disappointment that I have is that this was more like a novella. I wanted more. More of Bella and Henny, more of Eazy, more of Nannie, more of the “parents”. Now on to Butterfly to follow Morgan.
This was such a cute story as part of the whole Ethic series. What started off rocky ended beautifully. Ethic and Alani’s love story is something but it’s theirs. I love that it brought a plethora of families together. My first 4 star in the Ethic series because it was a lot of grammatical errors that didn’t make sense. Awesome read nonetheless though.
This was a great read. The beginning is what draws you into the book. It was a great continuation from the last book left off. Morgan story is going to phenomenal I just can’t wait. I’m going to miss Bella and her boo Henny and my boy Easy he was my all time favorite in the book he had a heart of gold and he got it from his dad. I love Ethic Ave Alani love affair it was phenomenal at its best
It was good. It didn’t wow me but it was a nice short story. Holiday season, family, forgiveness, and it was a nice bridge gapper. A continuation of Ethic and intro to Butterfly. 4 stars.
Of course something dramatic happens, even in this cute little Christmas story that provides a little more closure to the Ethic series.
I’m happy that each character had something mended or received an answered prayer, especially Ethic and Alani when it comes to their parents.
Eazy is so pure and brings an innocence to this family.
Morgan is growing, but I worry about her being around Bash and his family as they’re all too controlling over her and the twins. I hope her motherly instincts come to the surface because I just don’t trust Bash. I can’t wait to see how she turns out in Butterfly and if her and Meek will become a thing and how she’ll react when she learns about Blue.
The storyline with Bella and Hendrix was just starting. I wonder if we’ll get a story focused on them in the future.
Overall, this was a sweet way to close out the Ethic series before moving on to Butterfly.
This book is not what I thought it was going to be. I read this after I read the butterfly series. I guess this was a short snippet of the Okafors and how their life was going now that they were married. I didn’t like the ending , as it ended so abruptly. I did however enjoy a snippet of cubana and will be reading that next. This was a waste of $9, it was worth 2.99 with how short those pages was.
This was cute. I almost skipped it. I’m glad I didn’t. Unfortunately, there were some typos in it and that not like Ashley Antoinette’s books. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. Some of the mistakes made the thoughts unclear.
