They say I'm a diamond in the rough at the prestigious Atherton Boarding School, and for me, surviving two months there while my mother recovers from her car accident should have been smooth sailing.
So should staying away from the boys of the infamous Crest Club. They’re mysterious, infatuating and not to mention incredibly handsome, and even though every fiber in my body tells me to keep away, I find myself drawn to the three leaders — three sons of royalty and ultra-wealthy families: Rupert, Harry, and Sebastian.
Three boys who don’t think I belong.
And then the body turns up
Suddenly we have no choice but to work together, and the more I’m immersed in their secret club the harder I fall for them until I can no longer see a way out and the scary part is? I’m not sure if I want to…
Diamond is set in the United Kingdom and uses British spellings and terminology.
Rich kids are assholes -- especially in these books.
Okay, so I was intrigued to dive into this book but after reading it.. I'm just so confused. Whether it was the characters or the storyline - I'm just straight up in a haze about this. I feel like I was missing so much information - just like this book was missing some major editing. Maybe it's just me though?
Now I get that it's a bully to romance kind of book, but the MC was only really bullied by one girl, the queen bee of it all. Then she was almost raped by one guy, who was apart of that popularity group. Yet, her main interest didn't bully her - nope, he was just friends with the douche canoes. Mostly because they are all rich and have to keep appearance or whatever bullshit kool-aid they drink at this school.
Even though I flew through this book, I have so many unanswered questions due to these constant loopholes. Why did she barely know her dad? Why is her mom crazy and driving like a lunatic? Why are orgies basically happening at this school during class times? Why do kids think they own people here? Lots and lots of questions and lots and lots of weird ass characters.
Other than all of that, I hated some people like Pen - she probably has daddy problems or some shit - James - who I'm pretty sure is a psychopath - and Beth - the evil stepmom who cares about her image and her image alone. Go look in a mirror Beth and leave this book alone.
Overall, it is a super short book that gave me a headache.
I am mad at myself for pushing me to read this book. It is poorly written, the characters have no connection (of any kind) or feelings and the cryptic is so thick is annoying. Nothing interesting happens.
The plot of the book is really interesting and has good possibilities. However, I felt at times that I was missing crucial information about the story. Finishing the book, I was left with many questions and I'm a little confused about what is really happening. I hope that the next book will help me understand more of what is going on.
I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. There is a terrible car accident with her and her mother and while her mother is recovering she has to go stay with her father. In do that she has to attend a very elite academy for the super wealthy and royalty. The school is run by a mean girl and there is a secret group called the Crest Club. There is a point a body shows but and that pushes her and the three books together. They need to figure this out together. They grow closer, but the mean queen is still a factor. Will she let them be or will she rip them apart? That is a cliffhanger. That is not all something everyone enjoys.
There were a few grammar mistakes that were quite obvious but it didn't detract from the already horrendous plot. The book was rather short, thankfully, or else this would have been a book that I DNF.
The main character, Ally, is a nosy annoying girl with a hero complex. I mean honestly, someone is nice to her for one second and the rest of the book she's obsessed with her. She's constantly sticking her nose in someone else's business and even goes as far as to spy on a polyamorous couple having $ex and then accuses the guys of raping her. Ok so in the end she was right about the guys being bad people but at the time she was just making accusations without actually having any evidence of it. We don't really get to see her home life besides in the beginning of the book, despite the situation with her mom, dad, and step-mom being juicier and more entertaining than the entire book.
There definitely was insta-love and they literally spent a day together before the main dude practically declares his love for her. There begins to be a sort of harem towards the end but not really. Honestly this book was a big waste of time and I should have just gone to sleep instead of staying up to read this.
The only way this book could even remotely get better is if the author plays up the home situation more, and maybe Ally and the main bit¢h Pen end up being a lesbian couple together or something. Not that I plan on continuing the series.
I decided to read this book due to it being a British Bully book. I wanted to see how it compared to all the other Bully books which are usually American. I did really enjoy the story, and couldn't put it down till I had finished. But once I had finished I was left wanting more, I needed more answers, I needed to know what happened next. I wish it had been a bit longer as it felt like it ended way to quickly. There wasn't much RH in this book but it did leave it with the possibility of it in the next book. I look forward to seeing what happens in the next book and hopefully continuing the series.

I normally don't like cliffhangers and having to wait for the next book to find out what happens next, etc. But I was already hooked on this author Synergy came out and that story. This one doesn't disappoint either. It's more for young adults but I still enjoyed it. It had secrets, suspense, romance, and some darkness in the form of bullying. But it hooks you in and you can't help but be sucked in and wanting to know what happens next. Now, I will be impatiently waiting for the next one...

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. This was a dark story about a young girl whose life is flipped upside down when her mother and her are in an accident. Ally goes to live with her dad and attends a private school. But it's not all roses. A secret club is going to make her life hell. But fitting in and always on the wrong side of jokes, Ally meets Harry. They click but Geri and Tre keep warning to stay away. This is a cliff hanger.

Overall this story is flawed by a very naive young girl that's almost on the point of ridiculous. There is a certain lack of depth that makes the story somewhat clinical but it is a quick read and as such entertaining. This is one of those books that needed to go back to drawing bored for some editing. If some more skill was applied it could really be much more than it is. As it stands its a bit raw.
Really enjoyed reading this book especially because it was a british book lol and, loved the story line read it in less then 2 hours which is actually the only thing that disappointed me that it was quite short but I still can’t wait to read book 2 which I have no idea when that will be.
I really enjoyed this one. I was curious about bullying from the British view. I found it to be a very intriguing book. Of course, it ends on a cliffhanger so hoping the next book wraps things up a bit more. This was a new author for me. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book via booksprout.
I thought this was r/h but it wasn't I just wanted to do feel somthing I was kinda disappointed that it didnt have that much passion and that I wished it was with all 3 boys. And the ending a cliff hanger like what!!! Please tell me they all get together. Or something lol
I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters and how they came together. I can't wait to see what will happen next for Hughes and Harry. Is James really dead and what happened with Geri?
