Rock stars, Kaz and Myan know Hanna is their mate. They’ve spent the last year maneuvering her into their grasp, and she’s arrived just in time for the Harvest moon, the time when the lion shifters in their pride must claim their mates.
The full moon is coming, and by sunrise, she’ll be theirs. Forever.
When it comes to books and movies, Brynn Paulin has one rule: there must be a happy ending. After that one requirement, anything else goes. And it just might in any of her books.
Brynn lives in Michigan, where she likes to spoil her children and dogs—not necessarily in that order. She also loves to cook, travel and spend far too much time on social media. She enjoys mentoring and meeting new people and is always willing to chat. Personally, she finds great pleasure in spending time with her family and dogs, as well as volunteering around her community.
First published in June 2007 by Ellora's Cave, Brynn is the author of over 130 books, including the bestselling Daly Way and Taboo Wishes series.
According to Brynn, her writing success can be attributed to an eclectic collection of music, her local road construction crews, a trusty notebook, and of course, the people in her life who’ve finally accepted that everything is research—or will be.
That's really where this review could end, but ok I'll give you a little more.
This book was filled with hot rockers who happen to be twins AND just so happen to be lion shifters....SO much hotness! **Fans self**
I loved that Hanna was no pushover and didn't want to hook up with Kaz and Myan no matter the attraction and chemistry. Yes, she is stubborn but she also wants a real connection with her partner(s), not something forced or a "required" mate connection/reaction. I really respected her determination to hold strong for a true forever.
I'm always fascinated by shifter romances and the mental and physical connections of each person in the relationship. I love how deep and strongly they feel and this one did not disappoint!
If shifters, rockers, and/or stubborn leading ladies are your thing...you are going to want to read this book. Who am I kidding even if they aren't you want to read this book!
I enjoyed this story but was afraid going in because of the rocker/menage trope. I like reading menage stories, ESPECIALLY if they haven't shared before and with them being rock stars, I was worried their past would be in my face about constant sharing and hooking up with groupies. It was not indicated that they had done this and I was ok with that. The h was not a virgin and that made me feel even better. -no virgins -no cheating or abuse -no mention about H's being with groupies (thank goodness) -h pushes away and resists the mating through most of the book -mostly h POV If you like menage stories, I believe you will enjoy this one. Would love to read more like it.
Just not my storyline. No mention of the H's past, h celibate for a year. I don't like the fact that they explained nothing at all to the h. Then had to explain which was done horribly. Then what happened near the end, jhc if there was an explanation... Just a big nope for me
There was no pre-heat feature to this book. Harvest’s Pride started hot – grabbing the reader in an instant attraction - and just kept getting hotter. The urgency, heat and genuine affection jumped off the pages as Hanna unknowingly followed her sister’s footsteps in finding her shifter mates.
Hanna, independent and strong, is searching for her sister who disappeared while on tour with Harvest, a popular rock band. Unwilling to let the disappearance go as easily as others, Hanna pretends to be a reporter doing an interview on the lead band members Kaz and Myan. Hanna is able to get on the inside easily enough but isn’t prepared for the attraction she feels for the men. And little does she know the disappearance and the interview have been an elaborate set-up so that Kaz and Myan can meet her.
Leaders of their pride, Kaz and Myan are delicious alpha men – roarin’ lion shifters - who believe Hanna is their mate and plan to prove it. She’s arrived just in time for the Harvest moon which means there’s no time to waste. The men must claim her under the Harvest moon or risk waiting a full year. So it’s no holding back as they convince her that she belongs with them.
Paulin wrote a perfectly rounded out story in just a short book – something so many authors flop at – solid plot, rich in detail and scorching hot with a tidy HEA. I just hope there are plans to write more about the shifters in Harvest’s pride.

Really enjoyed the story but have a couple of quibbles. Why, when she was taken as a mate, did the h's sister have to "disappear" in order to draw the the h to her own future mates? Surely some excuse to come to their compound could have been created--a celebration, a holiday. And why could the h not pick up a phone, send an email, use social media to locate her sister?
WOW! My first book by this author and definitely won’t be the last. You get rock stars, twins, ménage, lion shifters, and a very feisty , stubborn main h . Now top that all off with some of the steamiest scenes ever 🔥🔥🔥! This book is not to be missed if you enjoy reading shifters !!!
I liked the overall story. It just lacked development that a longer story would have done. I felt "rushed" to accept the concept of the story and couldn't enjoy it as it was written. If you're looking for a short read, I recommend this one. But it left me with a half full feeling.
I have all of this series somewhere in my archives but not on the reading I am working through. And would you know it, this appears to be the only one I did read. Could be because I do enjoy the author. Also, it is a nice bed-time read.
Two rockets two lions. Getting their mate is what they must do. Once they have her can they keep Hanna. This was a great manage. Brynn Paulin rocked the lion mannerisms and had great shifter scenes.
