I thoroughly enjoy MIST, MURDER & MAGIC maybe even more than book 1 in the series. There were a lot of POV in this book and there's nothing wrong with that, I just prefer being in Hella POV. Hella is very determined, refuses to give up even though the odds are against her. That's one of the reasons why I believe she is a good heroine to read about. Poor Harrow, he went through hell and back throughout this book. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

FIve stars for this book! I was a big fan of the first book and the second book was just as good! Lot’s of witches, cambions, magic gone wrong, confused moral compasses, and more! You learn a lot more about Hella in this book; about her powers, family, and friends. It was a great read, one of those books that’s hard to put down! A lot of action packed into it that kept you flipping to the next page. The ending was crazy and can’t wait to see how things play out in the next book! If you are looking for a great supernatural read definitely start A Promised Witch Series!

Oh boy - I struggled with this - and only due to not really liking Hella. I want too - which makes this even worse. She is horrible. Her attitude, the way she speaks to people and her selfishness. There are people dying and she is ‘oh but what about me - it’s all my fault’ blah blah blah whinge whinge whinge... 🤦🏻♀️
Anyway it’s the other characters and the main storyline that pushed me to make this 3 stars. Poor Harrow.
It’s not a bad story at all and if Hella would just shut her mouth and focus on the bigger picture here - this would’ve been epic.
I will check out book 3 - only because there is a bit of a cliffhanger and I want to know. Fingers crossed I can finish this trilogy.
